Soup and sandwich lunch. Actually, not bad. Onion soup could use more cheese and could be hotter.

My wife is a fan of the Panera chain. Me, not so much. The offerings are varied but everything I try has the look and taste of assembly line fare. Breakfast baked goods are over sweet. The breads tend to be ordinary and more supermarket like than good bakery quality. One exception is the breakfast menu. They have egg dishes, like soufflés. These are pre made and if you get there early, they are a tasty treat. Get there late and they dry out or they run out. In general, the food is, at best, 3 stars. Better than many fast food places and if you shop carefully, potentially healthier. However, I'll visit only with my honey. Not a place I'll visit on my own.

Amazing service and food despite being extremely busy. Much better than my Panera closer to home. Thank you!

With a warm modern interior, easy parking, and seating inside and outside, it's perfect for a quick stop or a long meal. For their regular "Build Your Own Bowl", choose up to 2 bases of greens and grains, then up to 2 proteins like falafel, shawarma, kebabs, kefta, and shredded lamb (my fave) and 10 toppings from 26 options. I really enjoy the Lebanese Tabbouleh, Lemon Garlic Hummus, and Chickpea Salad. For sauce, you can sauce it up with their slightly spicy Harissa or Cilantro Vinaigrette and more. Whether you're there with loved ones or flying solo, this spot's a great choice for a filling and tasty meal. NOTES/TIPS: **Shared plaza parking, right by Rockaway Townsquare Mall. **Excellent service. Wheelchair-accessible.

Before leaving I asked for napkins, and was ASSURED they were in the bag with my food. I didn't ask for a fork, because who serves a bowl of food without a fork? Service was fine (maybe the little attitude I got with my answer about napkins could be ditched). Didn't stay long enough to asses ambiance, but outdoor tables in sunshine looked good. Food was delicious. Plenty of it. Next time I'll look in the bag to be sure I do have napkins and a fork. I'll go back, but withhold judgment for now.

I brought a friend with me. they weren't really hungry but wanted to go out anyway. They ended up ordering their own bowl and made comments that this exactly the kind of place they want to come to eat healthier. It was priced pretty reasonably and filling on top of that I would tell them that its a lot of rice, vegetables and protein but since its often themed around seafood, I feel good after eating. This place does offer cooked chicken or beef if you would like that. Raw fish like salmon or tuna that i had in my order gives a different feeling to those. Overall with the service of this shop, it is a good and straighforward experience where you order, ask questions, any add ons you might want, and they ask if you want to order any drinks at the end. I took my time picking from their menu. The online website mentions they sell bubble tea and sushi rolls in addition to poke bowls. In the shop the big sign to order from just had Poke options, a small sign for teas or smoothies, and i guess all the same ingredients they use for poke can be used for sushi so they probably didnt list it in the shop. They have paper takeout menus available that I did not look at so maybe the items online match that, but something to note if you view it in advance and don't see it in person. The bowl I had was very good, I was actually full enough where i took a bit of it home with me, to finish later. I would say the size proportions is good for 1 person. My friend I went with finished their bowl in the shop and was satisfied by the amount. I believe both of us will be returning to this shop to try other menu items with how approachable everything was. Taste, size, service, it all seemed good

There is a full bar which is huge and can make any drink you wish. They have some excellent specialty cocktails. We ordered the guacamole and chips before ordering delicious entrees. We also got the corn and split it so we had room for dinner. I had the rib eye special with a chimichurri sauce, spinach mashed potatoes, and veggies. The steak was perfectly medium rare and the sauce was perfection. I never had spinach mash before but felt good about getting some extra iron in my carbs. I didn't love the zucchini, (weird taste) but the other veggies were fine. My friend picked the burger and fries to satisfy their beef craving. The fries were crispy and perfect while my friend said her burger was excellent. Other friend went for the salmon and veggies, she enjoyed it and had to bring some home because it was a big serving. Last friend got the chicken rice bowl special and opted for grilled chicken instead of fried. They were super accommodating about making changes so we had exactly what we wanted. Again, big portion so she is excited to have lunch tomorrow. The music is very lively and the service is excellent. Be sure to stop in but do make reservations. We decided to grab dessert and had the lemon raspberry cake plus some of the homemade sorbet. One cappuccino and a cup of tea made us all happy and we enjoyed a nice leisurely meal. My friends had not been here before and we all plan on coming back soon. There was valet parking, so be aware and bring some cash for tips if you are so inclined.

Seeing as how he didn't offer any or leave any behind, it was delicious. All dinners came with salads and we got the potatoes and sautéed yellow squash. We sat for a while and I ended up with the coconut cake because it looked yummy (it was) and our friend for an espresso and raspberry sorbet. This hidden gem had been around for a long time with good reason. Stop in and find out for yourself. Also, on Wednesday's they offer 20% off if you pay cash (do make a reservation-it gets packed!) Walking into this place is like going back in time to the 80's. The whole place could use a face lift but that is what makes it endearing. The bar dining area is very cozy, perfect for couples. The main dining room is large and can handle large parties. I only have two negative observations, first they are an Italian restaurant but don't serve cappuccino, second their wine selection is limited and frankly not very impressive. Regardless, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the region looking for some very good Italian food.
