    Fudgy Brownie CinnaTop
    Travis B.

Fudgy Brownie CinnaTop: Panera recently introduced a slew of new items including three varieties of what they have dubbed "CinnaTops". The Cinnatop flavors include Candy Cookie, Choco Chipper Cookie, and Fudgy Brownie. It was easy narrowing down which I would try as I'm a fudgy (not cakey) brownie fan. The official description is "A deliciously crafted cinnamon roll made with our sweet dough, stuffed with cinnamon-sugar filling and topped with decadent icing, brownie chunks and finished with an icing drizzle". It comes in a cute little windowed box and was relatively hefty. Also of note, it is served as a room temperature dessert. I have not had the most recent iteration of Panera's cinnamon roll, but I would imagine it's similar if not exactly the same as this (just minus the brownie pieces). There is a copious amount of icing both on top of the roll and even inside (see cross-section picture). As good as that sounds, that brings me to my biggest complaint and that is the flavor. The icing is extremely tangy, to the point that I want to describe it as having a lemony flavor (not a plus in my book). Thankfully the chocolate flavor of the brownies helps to distract from this. Mine came topped with eight brownie pieces that were approximately the same size, but that might vary with your experience. Although not as fudgy or tasty as my homemade brownies, they were satisfying enough. There is also a nice amount of cinnamon flavor from the cinnamon-sugar filling (again see cross-section picture) to help diminish that awful lemony icing. If you plan on trying the new CinnaTops, my final word of advice is to warm them up in the microwave as it made enough of a difference in taking this from an avoid, to just okay dessert. I still probably wouldn't eat one again (and it was free with a Panera Rewards coupon) as there's just so many better dessert options today. Doughboy_Food_Reviews

BOLT FOUND IN CHICKEN SALAD SANDWICH

FOUND A LARGE METAL BOLT IN MY FOOD. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich on 7/28/25 and bit down on something hard while I was chewing and found it was metal bolt. After showing the staff what I found they continued to serve the contaminated food. I am appalled and disgusted. I hope nobody else gets hurt.

This Panera is usually pretty good, but this sandwich was seriously lacking. I didn't want the lettuce (gets too soggy on this sandwich) but I definitely wanted the other things.

It's Panera. Everything is fresh, and staff is pretty friendly. They will find your table and bring out your order if you're eating in, but you have to clear out your table. You can grab self serve water with lemon. You can also order through the computer directly, and cups for your beverage purchases are all there for you to just take - honor system. Don't abuse it! For a chain bakery that I've been going to since... well for quite a long time, I'm still not sure that I believe the more recent price hike justified. But it's ok. I still go on a whim.

I love Panera bread I really do I don't have many complaints but recently they've been compounding this latest was the fact that I got a chicken noodle soup there in one piece of chicken in it and two noodles

The music is way too loud. It never used to be that way. When I asked for the music to be turned down so I could speak to my 81-year-old mother they indicated that they could not.

Healthy salad! Making my daily life healthier. Great salad good atmosphere...

Always great food at a decent price. Clean efficient... the salads are really good. Healthy options

It's actually a pretty good place to get work done.

The bartender was friendly and quick with our food and drink. My husband had the mozzarella sticks, and I had the fried portabella mushrooms. Both were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The mushrooms pieces, as should be expected, were of good size. Both starters were served with marinara sauce. This unassuming place is great for friends, couples and families.

I had the chicken fried chicken dinner and my mate had the corned beef and cabbage. My plate was perfectly cooked, the breading just lacked some seasoning. I usually do not order a meal with mixed vegetables because they are grossly overcooked. The vegetables here were near perfect for me. The plate of corned beef and cabbage was nicely prepared. The cabbage was not a soggy swamp! Yay! It also could've used some seasoning. I failed and deserve detention since I forgot to take a picture and forgot the servers name.

They carry Rishi teas, which always have great flavor. To start, we ordered the Korean cauliflower. It came out in a reasonable amount of time and had nice flavor, was served hot, and was a good portion. There were some nicely sized pieces on top, but underneath was a pile of smaller pieces that turned into a bit of a gooey mess. For our entrees, I had the Hot Bacon Salad, and she ordered the fish tacos. Both were good, served hot, and had solid flavor. Portions were generous, and we ended up taking some home. Service: Service throughout the meal was very good. They did a great job getting us settled with waters and menus. Our server was super enthusiastic and friendly, and the pacing was spot on. Nice job, Brandon. Atmosphere: It's a well-designed space. It was very busy, though there were still plenty of booths and seating options. Unfortunately, we were seated next to a small group that was video chatting and had a screaming baby on the other end. I like babies... just not while I'm eating. Overall: Mostly a good experience. I would go back, with a request to sit in a quieter area.

The cod was all you can eat and honestly I can only eat 1 or 2 pieces. The all you can eat cod/haddock is $18. Their menu says cod or haddock depending on availability. I had the shrimp dinner and my husband had a BLT. As you can see the BLT lacked some B, but he said other than that it was very good. The shrimp was great! I got 12 shrimp, cole slaw, waffle fries, (lot's of waffle fries), cocktail sauce, rye bread and they threw in tarter sauce for no reason at all. It is a good deal for $19. The shrimp dinner and walleye dinner are served every day per their menu, the cod/haddock is Friday only. I have to add the rye bread has salt on the top of the bread and that combo is so good. You get 2 small slices with the dinner. As for the lack of bacon on the BLT, we went to Olive Tree in the Market Place in Oak Creek on Tuesday for lunch with some friends and it was the same, lacking bacon. I am wondering if this is becoming a thing.

I think they no longer have the buffet since covid. Missed it!…read more We were promptly seated on a Sunday afternoon, a little past 4. There were just a few customers inside, pretty quiet. After our host took us to our table, we waited a good 10 minutes before our server came by. She apologized after asking whether we were being helped by anyone. She was very nice about it, but I did wonder, since it looked like she was the only server working at the time, so who else would be helping us? It was fine though, since we weren't in any kind of a hurry and overall enjoying one another's company. The Traditional Long Island - $8 menu says "keep the cup!" In case you're wondering, it's a plastic cup, not a glass. Hubby said the drink itself was ok. Whether I can keep the cup or not, though, I don't like to drink alcohol out of a glass glass, so I'd rather just get the drink in a glass cup that I don't get to keep. Chopped Cobb with Petit Fillet - $20 The 5 oz fillet was pretty good and cooked to a perfect medium, though they could have eased up on the salt a bit. The veggies weren't the most fresh I've seen, some wilted, and some with brown spots. The avocado tasted funny. I don't know how to explain it, but it felt more rubbery (?) than I'm used to, and had a tangy flavor. Overall, disappointed for a $20 salad. (I've found a local restaurant that makes a mean steak salad for $14, with an absolutely heaping mound of fresh greens. I don't like to compare, but I couldn't help but do so) Charcoal Burger Not the best thing out there, but tasty. Sunday Rib Special - $10 Ribs were OK, and the onion fries were also tasty. Great price! Four pieces are not enough for a grown man, but perfect for me. There is a sign at the front desk: "we impose a surcharge on credit cards that is not greater than our cost of acceptance." There is another one that says "We impose a surcharge of 3% on the transaction amount on credit card products which is not greater than our cost of acceptance." Lingo sounds very legal, but basically means they will charge you 3% for using a credit card. Pretty cheap for a restaurant of this size if you ask me.
