I have not stepped into nor thought about Panera Bread in so long, I almost forgot they existed. But after taking my child to an orthodontist appointment nearby, he asked if we could stop and get him some mac and cheese for lunch. The boy loves the Panera mac and cheese that's sold in the refrigerated section of the grocery store. So to get it straight from the source! Whatta treat. And he deserved a treat after having to visit the orthodontist unexpectedly. Be aware that this Panera does not have a drive-thru. You'll need to go inside the restaurant like we did. But! They do have kiosks where the registers used to be, so you can order your own food and beverages without talking to anyone. Amazing! Any place that lets me get in and out with as little human interaction as possible is a winner with me. I was able to order my son's cup of mac and cheese easily, and then we waited less than five minutes for it to be placed on the counter. There's even a screen that will let you know the status of your order in real time. I am all about this new, antisocial way of ordering and receiving food. I had forgotten about the "bread" part of Panera Bread: the mac and cheese comes with a piece of baguette. I think most of the food comes with bread. This utterly delighted my son, who enjoyed getting an unexpected bread treat in his food bag. I'll probably go back to forgetting about Panera Bread again. But I'm happy that I came across this one, because it served its purpose and was a nice lunch for someone who really appreciated it. read more

I had been a fan eating at this location since 2018. Service was great throughout the years. I've ordered several food items: -Tried all the soufflés (cheese, spinach/artichoke, and bacon/egg) -Flatbread pizza -Chipotle chicken sandwich -Hot tea -Coffee -Green Tea -Black Tea -Chocolate chip cookie -Fuji salad -Almond croissant -Broccoli cheddar Mac n cheese -Broccoli cheddar soup -Oatmeal raisin berry cookie All of them were delicious. I was sad that they no longer carry the flatbread as a selection. I also was sad that they no longer carried the Flatbread pizzas. Those were one of my favorites. The online curbside orders were long wait and disorganized. I ordered curbside only once and never did it again. My cousin experienced the same issue on her curbside order. Lastly on one of my visits with my cousin. We placed our orders to go. We both had witnessed one of the employees drop a bagel on the table and picked it up with his bare hands and placed it in my cousin's to go bag order. I was feeling ill. The only thing that tasted good to me was the chicken and rice soup. I was following the brat diet at the time.

First of all the lady that helped us was amazing and very knowledgeable. Her suggestions helped me to make a selection. My wife and I both enjoyed our food and I sensed they had new people working there and so I am hopeful for the future. However, I do have an issue with these types of deli's hitting us up for a tip. The register is quick to ask if we want to give a tip. My first reaction is why? We order our food, but then we have to go get it and then to top it off we have to clean up our area! Why on earth would there be a need to tip? It makes people feel guilty when we shouldn't. Now, if they actually bring the food to us and get us things we forgot that is a different argument. At any rate, improve a few things and you will do well going forward. read more

Updating my review to mention that this Panera location is always very, very CLEAN. The tables are wiped down promptly, the counters and floor are always clean. The beverage self-serve area is never sticky or missing supplies. Other Panera locations in Hamilton county are often badly in need of cleaning but this location is always spotless. We were ordering for takeout when my wife said the prices had changed. We fiddled with the online order form and learned that when we chose free home delivery every item cost more. Opting to pickup food reduced the cost of items. The point to this is they really don't have free delivery. They are just going to charge more. Their order menu walks you into this by requiring to know if this is for take out or delivery BEFORE you can order. There should be law against this because they are actually charging for their "free" delivery! In my opinion this is fraud. read more

I stopped by just after 9:00 a.m for a bagel & coffee. I was given my coffee cup and directed where to get my coffee, which was fine. I was told they would call my name when my bagel was toasted & ready for me. Either they need to call names louder, or my name didn't get called at all. Highly recommend stopping by Panera this season to try their fall food! I tried the autumn squash soap and their Fuji apple salad. The salad was really great. The perfect amount of crunch. It's topped with onions, pecans, bleu cheese, apple crisps, tomato and chicken. I am not exactly sure what kind of dressing is on it, but it was really good. It was a sweet vinaigrette. The soup was also amazing! I have been a total sucker for butternut squash this season and I think that it was is in this soup. It was perfect to dip my baguette in. Panera offers the perfect pick 2 option which is ideal for someone as indecisive as myself...."do I want soup or a sandwich" they said why not both. The seasonal Autumn Butternut Squash soup had been my go to. It's creamy and sweet.... so tasty. And then the sandwich. I blame my friend for my current obsession.... the toasted Frontega Chicken....mmmmm y'all. I wanted to get the Breast Cancer Awareness Month bagel so I stopped by after my workout. This way I didn't feel bad about the carbs. A portion of the proceeds from the bagel go to research. The bagel went well with the honey walnut cream cheese. Panera has a large variety of pastries and breakfast items. My favorite is their souffles--- they have several flavors combos including a veggie option. Panera is a great breakfast, lunch, or dinner spot with friends or solo. In the past I have ordered my meal and used the wifi to catch up on work. The noise level is low so the atmosphere is great for getting work done with few distractions. Panera has a new warm grain bowl I want to try. So my next visit will be for lunch. read more

Terrible customer service. Manager named Emma was hesitant to give out her name when asked. I ordered curbside pick-up and because of the size of my vehicle I decided to park in the main parking space as a courtesy to others. When you order online there is an option to describe the vehicle and also state that you are not parked in one of the curbside stalls with a number. "Manager" Emma was very adamant that I parked in one of the stalls before bringing out my order....WOW, great customer service there manager!!! Tables are being wiped occasionally but the carpet has areas that are covered with food, been here through our thirty + minute stay. My husband and I both have dirty utensils. Two employees have walked by several times and not noticed the food on the floor (they did bus the tables). Also, my husband does NOT recommend the Chipotle Chicken Avocado Melt. He had to blot it with several napkins and it was still too greasy. We usually like this chain but this one is either mismanaged or we caught them on a really bad night. read more

This Panera is less than a mile from our house and it's the 2nd time I've gone in it, but only out of desperation for soup (in August). IT IS SO DIRTY. I have never seen a chain restaurant so dirty. Dirty dishes stacked up on top of the trash cans, which were bursting at the seams with garbage, and the drink area and floors are just plain dirty. I stood at the counter (no one in front of me or behind me) while the "team manager" was counting bagels and telling a young man to "change out the coffees". Neither of them even looked at me. No "Hello." or "can I help you?" After a few minutes, a young girl came from behind the pastries in her cut-off jean shorts and hooded sweatshirt (really?) and took my order. Just one bowl of soup, please. She tells me $10.??. I put my debit card in the machine not thinking because I was starving, but then I looked at her and said, "$10 for a bowl of soup to go?" The girl literally asked me if I wanted a drink to go with it and I said no. Then she rang up a large drink with my soup. I love Panera's food but I don't think ppl knw that (on app) they price increase you or no one really noticed. If you do a pick up on (pizza) $10.39, delivery they increase it to $12.39 they also charge more on taxing you food (it's more than 7%). Delivery-they have charges of $1.00 for delivery and $2.00 for convenience fees and at the end there's tipping if you'd like to tip. read more

My boyfriend and I came here on Saturday (2/18) around 4pm for a late lunch/early dinner. It wasn't very crowded. When we walked in, we noticed probably 8 self-service kiosks-- they're about iPad sized. We ordered our food on these (you can only use debit, credit, or gift cards). Tuesday afternoon I went to pick up lunch with my hubby. The ordering line was not long. The employee (Melissa) who was taking our order was rude and had a frowning expression while talking to us. When I entered my Panera card number she said she did not know which one to pick as there were two cards. I told her the one to pick but she continued to not be able to see it. The other employees around her also were looking towards her so if the Manager of this Panera bread is willing to make this place better, then more information could be gathered by talking to the employees who were taking orders during noon time. Clean, and food was very good. I had the tortellini Alfredo with the broccoli cheese soup. I probably should have chosen a less creamy combo, but broccoli cheese is a favorite. The only thing I would change is a bit more broccoli in the soup. They didn't question my shrimp allergy, instead let the guys on the line know immediately. The restrooms are clean, but the stall is standard small (I won't use handicapped unless there is no choice.) it's one of those you have to straddle the toilet to get the door to clear your backside. I went into the store and the staff appeared disorganized and chaotic despite the low number of actual customers in the store. At that point, I didn't have enough time left to ask about the order. I called two days later to request a refund. The person I spoke with, Caitlin, said that since it had been two days I couldn't get a refund but I could get a "free" sandwich. I didn't want the sandwich any longer. I had to call corporate to get the refund and the rep that I spoke with also tried to get me to accept a "free" sandwich.
