Updating my review to mention that this Panera location is always very, very CLEAN. The tables are wiped down promptly, the counters and floor are always clean. The beverage self-serve area is never sticky or missing supplies. Other Panera locations in Hamilton county are often badly in need of cleaning but this location is always spotless. Greatly appreciated!

Highly recommend stopping by Panera this season to try their fall food! I tried the autumn squash soap and their Fuji apple salad. The salad was really great. The perfect amount of crunch. It's topped with onions, pecans, bleu cheese, apple crisps, tomato and chicken. I am not exactly sure what kind of dressing is on it, but it was really good. It was a sweet vinaigrette. The soup was also amazing! I have been a total sucker for butternut squash this season and I think that it was is in this soup. It was perfect to dip my baguette in. I have to say, I don't really understand their self serve kiosks. I think it is much faster to order with the cashier even if you do have to wait in line. I took off star because there was only 1 clean table for us to sit at while we were there. Despite that, food was delicious!

Y'all I love me a good sammie and soup and what's even better than that..... having it delivered! Panera offers the perfect pick 2 option which is ideal for someone as indecisive as myself...."do I want soup or a sandwich" they said why not both. The seasonal Autumn Butternut Squash soup had been my go to. It's creamy and sweet.... so tasty. And then the sandwich. I blame my friend for my current obsession.... the toasted Frontega Chicken....mmmmm y'all. Smoked, pulled chicken, fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, red onion, fresh basil, chipotle sauce on an Asiago ciabatta. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. To top ALL of that deliciousness off you get the option of a .99 bakery item. You bet your sweet bottom I picked up an orange scone which i hid from my kiddo it was that good. I had ordered with the wrong delivery address and the manager was sweet and patient with me. She called the driver and let him know of the mixup and my lunch was still delivered in the time window they gave me. Already thinking about another round.

I wanted to get the Breast Cancer Awareness Month bagel so I stopped by after my workout. This way I didn't feel bad about the carbs. A portion of the proceeds from the bagel go to research. The bagel went well with the honey walnut cream cheese. Panera has a large variety of pastries and breakfast items. My favorite is their souffles--- they have several flavors combos including a veggie option. Panera is a great breakfast, lunch, or dinner spot with friends or solo. In the past I have ordered my meal and used the wifi to catch up on work. The noise level is low so the atmosphere is great for getting work done with few distractions. Panera has a new warm grain bowl I want to try. So my next visit will be for lunch.

It is now 6:35 pm and I just received my order after parking in one of their stalls. It's not about customer. It's about Emma!
    Ree S.

Terrible customer service. Manager named Emma was hesitant to give out her name when asked. I ordered curbside pick-up and because of the size of my vehicle I decided to park in the main parking space as a courtesy to others. When you order online there is an option to describe the vehicle and also state that you are not parked in one of the curbside stalls with a number. "Manager" Emma was very adamant that I parked in one of the stalls before bringing out my order....WOW, great customer service there manager!!! Not to mentioned I had been parked outside for 20 minutes waiting on my order before calling Panera.

I was feeling ill. The only thing that tasted good to me was the chicken and rice soup. I was following the brat diet at the time.

It's food and feel are clearly driven by the owners who want you to return. Ambiance: bisto feel that allows the business casual group of friends to mix with those that want to dress up a bit, but not fancy. The bar service for food is small but the attentive bartender and staff make you feel at home. The mixed drinks features specials and they were top notch. The wine list is well paired with affordable selections that are not just Cabs and Chards, lots of small family vineyard selections. The restaurant holds about 35 people. Service: not "unreasonable hospitality" service and that's great, attentive group of waiters and staff that know the menu, are concerned about your wants, and deliver with speed or an update, very solid!. Food: clean plate club food, everything hot and very well done. Special occassion dinner was Chili glazed carrots, Carpacio, Lobster Enchilda, Veal Schnitzel, and an Afagato and comped Mango Bread Pudding, two glasses of wine, and special mixed drink right at $200 plus tip. Cheap, no...worth it, 100%+. Honestly if I was a regular I'd pop in for split apps and drinks often and be perfectly satisfied, spend less, and feel welcomed. If you are not a regular, 9th Street should be on your "must go" list. Take friends or guests they will remember you and and the experience.

I was wondering if the seating here would be communal since they only have 9 tables and room for 35 guests but I was pleasantly surprised that we were seated at our own table in a bit of a nook created by bookcases. My girlfriend and I had plans that day to go to the Peony Festival in town but it was cancelled due to weather. There were still many beautiful peonies in the restaurant itself and in many businesses around town. We were immediately seated by the hostess and our waiter, James, came to the table to tell us about the restaurant and that they would take our entire order and then course it out for us. I love this. Being a small restaurant it was a little noisy in there but we just spoke up a bit to talk to each other. We started with a couple cocktails, mine was Mr. Rumtastic and my friend had the Coming Up Roses. Both cocktails were well made and good. I found mine a bit thick on the palate, maybe because of the coconut milk? Still the flavors were well balanced and delicious. We started our meal with the Housemade Burrata, the bottom of the plate had a pistachio butter spread across it and there was mortadella on the plate, a puffy fried dough called gnocco fritto, and a balsamic honey along side. We were instructed to put it on our plate and mix it up and see how we like it paired together. What an excellent way to start our meal. We would definitely order this again. Next up for us was the Lamb Kafta Kebabs along with the Housemade Focaccia Bread. The lamb kebabs were ground lamb skewered and grilled served over a fresh fava bean puree finished with olive oil, sumac, ramp powder, and black cumin with some thinly sliced watermelon radish. The lamb was super tender and a perfect medium cook. The focaccia bread was a good addition to this as we slathered the homemade bread with the super soft whipped herb butter. Loved the rosemary baked into the bread as it gave it a woody, herby note without overpowering it. I almost ordered the Spring Salad but I asked James if it would be going overboard and he said what we ordered he thought would be the perfect amount of food so I will save that for another day. We ordered a second cocktail, mine was the Persephone's Elixir and my friend ordered the Peonies in the Park. We both enjoyed these cocktails more than we enjoyed the first cocktails we ordered. The egg white on mine made a little frothy creamy top and I loved the slight sweetness from the vanilla syrup and the pomegranate juice. I tried my friend's cocktail and it was so refreshing, it was peony infused vodka with rhubarb liqueur with a strawberry-rhubarb shrub. Next up for us was our main dish. I ordered the Spring Ravioli and my friend ordered the Persian Chicken. My ravioli was the best pasta dish I have had in quite some time. I usually don't eat an entire entree, I usually bring half home, this one though I ate every little bit, I would have licked the plate if I were not in a nice restaurant! Housemade ravioli with a filling of sweet peas, ricotta and percorino cheese bathed in a potato veloute' with sugar snap peas, pink peppercorns, chive oil and microgreens. I would order this again tomorrow if I were to go back tomorrow. My friend loved her chicken and her baked rice as well. So even after all these food, and it was a lot, we had to go for dessert. I ordered a cup of coffee with cream along with Crunch-Dipped Peanut Butter Pie and my friend ordered the Double Scoop of Housemade Peanut-Butter and Chocolate Gelato. We enjoyed these as well. We will definitely make another trip here as the service, food, and cocktails were right on point. Thanks so much to 9th Street Bistro and I hope you have many years of success.

The service is consistently great, and the food never disappoints. I started with the fried green tomatoes, which are some of the best you'll find in the Indianapolis area--crispy, flavorful, and perfectly done. The biscuits and gravy are a must-order. The biscuits taste freshly made, and you can really tell the restaurant prioritizes high-quality, farm-to-table ingredients. It's easily my go-to recommendation every time I visit. The ambiance is another highlight--intimate, cute, and welcoming. Even when it's busy, it never feels too loud or overwhelming. It's perfect for a casual date, catching up with friends, or even enjoying a solo meal with your laptop. Grindstone is truly a versatile spot that always delivers.

The reason I gave it a 4 star review is because some of the food didn't meant our expectations. Very crispy almost too hard. Comes with ranch dip and ketchup. The hibuscus margarita was perfect, not too sweet. There were soooo many food options I had a hard time choosing, but went with blackened salmon, mashed potatoes and creamed corn. Wow, I was not disappointed. The salmon was perfectly cooked and seasoned, moist and flavorful. I've never seen creamed corn on a menue, this had peppers and fried onions and was delicious. For my birthday they brought 2 scoops of ice cream with Carmel drizzled on top and whip cream and a cherry. My husband got the meatloaf which very good as well; moist and smothered in brown gravy.
