Men's room bathroom 1/3 stalls out of order. Same with Ithaca location. They seem to be skimping on their maintenance. Food is still good and prepared fast and accurately. Coffee below average. read more

We ordered, dine-in, two coffees, a sandwich and a toasted bagel. Sandwich served quickly ... and completely eaten while I was still waiting for my bagel almost 15 minutes later. When I asked if I'd be getting my bagel soon, I was told "Sorry ... but she's working on orders for 18 bagels." While getting my refund, realized why my puny eat-in order was of no importance at all to them ... they would rather I wait than their big-order on-line customers (see photo - pick-up rack chocked full of others' big orders). PS: Business seemed uncharacteristically slow ... snowstorm had dining room way less than half full. And their only excuse for their 5-person cooking staff's lack of customer satisfaction was a clearly unsympathetic "sorry ... we're doing the best we can, sir." Riiiiight ... for your big-ticket customers you are. read more

Ordered online and received correct items (two sandwiches). However, when we unwrapped out sandwiches we discovered how little of thought was put into them. The worker who made our sandwich didn't even spread the cranberry spread over the sandwich. Instead, they plopped it onto with all the other ingredients and wrapped it up. The other sandwich had more ingredients off the sandwich than on it. Overall, very disappointing. read more

ordered a salad at the new Hartford restaurant. the salad was made fine and correct but we had to listen to the employees mumble under their breath the whole time while making it why don't people just make multiple salads at home. it's not THEIR jobs to judge what people want to eat or spend their money on. won't be coming back to this paneras read more

545 pm and they whe out of bread and avocado. They totally gave us the wrong items and the manager actually yelled at me when I came up to get my items also bathroom was disgusting and there were holes all over the walls like big fist size holes read more

The food is amazing, great service and perfect place to relax , the sandwiches are great

I'm a coach Bus Driver. And gave Heather the Manger a Half hour notice. And they were able to get use taken care of. Service was excellent.

Went to get my sick daughter Mac and Cheese. Ordered online to save time. No signage where to pick up food. I waited 10 minutes by the serving area where they were giving out food. Then I went up front to the counter, nothing there. I was then told it would be right out. Then I was told it was up front, and they brought it to me. I should have asked for a new order because by the time I got it home it was barely warm. They either need signs to direct you or staff who are helpful. read more

Delicious meal at Panera! I'm super excited for every fall when the Autumn Squash Soup comes back. It is my absolute favorite salad. The workers were friendly, restaurant was clean, and the food came out quick. Whether dining in or taking out it's a great stop for something hearty and fresh!! read more

Panera Bread - You Pick Two - Sandwiches Near Me - New Hartford, New York

Very unprofessional here. This store closes too early on short notice and it was on a Saturday evening and not a holiday. I was about to send my order in through the app since I had a 20 percent off offer to use, but was stopped at the door. Problem with this area is that there are no other Panera locations for many miles, unlike where I live where there are several Panera stores to choose from. The Panera Bread near my home closes at 10 PM on Fridays and Saturdays and this New Hartford NY store was already closed after 7 PM on Saturday. I decided to go across the road for dinner instead. They just lost $16 of business and really earned this 1 star. read more

I have been to this location 3 times. It's clean, quick and very friendly. Ordering through the app is very user friendly and easy to customize. They have always gotten my order correct with my customizations. I've always ordered the pick 2 with the half chipotle avocado smoked chicken sandwich (customized with no cilantro) Really good! For the second I've ordered: Mac and cheese: good, consistent. French onion soup: decent, I would prefer a little more cheese. To go They put the croutons on the side so they don't get soggy Wild rice chicken soup: really good- but not a lot of chicken & they always give a bread with the soups too The only complaint I could have would be the inconsistency of the sandwich. Sometimes there's a good amount of meat and others it's kinda sparse. I'll continue to order from here but I would suggest spending the extra 1.50 for the double meat option read more

I love Panera, but this one consistently offers barely lukewarm -- as in temperature -- food when things should be warm/hot. Soup, barely room temperature. Mac and cheese, center of the serving is almost cold. I'm not talking delivery either, where food cooling off can be expected, I'm talking about in-restaurant service. The flavors are as expected and the people are friendly, the location is clean, but where is, literally, the heat? read more

I used to LOVE Panera, ten years ago. But for several years now, it has been just too busy to keep up quality, and probably to keep employees. The solution would be to open a second branch nearby. How I wished they had opened a branch in North Utica! They should care that their model only works if the place is comfortable and serves good, comforting food. It fails when the atmosphere is crowded & hectic, and the rushed food contains mistakes. The store managers are likely worn out, and the owners obviously don't care. It's disappointing and also too expensive now for what you get in experience. This makes me sad. read more

The Southport Panera has great service and people. It starts at the top with good, solid management.

There food is good only need to stuff sandwishes and salads more they are getting a bit skimpy the service is fine but a reminder if there only taking and order and no one is bringing food to you no tip should be asked for read more

Met up with family here. Great efficient place, great for meeting up with family and friends. You could order online, or on the pads in store, or get in line and order from counter. Good food, good service, good atmosphere, fair prices. Place is big enough though it's busy, turn over is quick. read more

I've always loved Panera food. The frontega is my favorite. What I want to rave about is how wonderful the staff at the New Hartford store are. I've seen them work under pressure and they never lose their cool. Deb and her morning crew are incredible and an asset to the store. read more

I'm not typically a fan of PB, I don't like their food, but sometimes it's the most convenient place to go. This place is really busy at lunch time and what I like about this location in particular is the quick order kiosk. Instead of having to wait in a long line to order mediocre microwaved food, you can quickly place your order on a tablet, pay and take your tracker back to your table. read more

Panera was Panera. It's a chain restaurant so the food rarely changes. Today I went here cause it was convenient. I got the broccoli cheddar soup and chipotle chicken with avocado melt panini. The soup was good, but the sandwich was nothing special just not enough flavor. I'll probably just stick with their salads if I ever go back. It's usually on point. read more

We were on a trip to New York and needed a good place to have a filling breakfast. The familiar Panera Bread was the place we decided to go since it always has very good food. I got an egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on an Asiago bagel with a bottle of orange juice. It was very good and very filling. The restroom needed some repair. The stall was missing the door latch which made it unusable unless you wanted to take the chance of someone pushing the door open. The paper towel dispenser wasn't working properly so it was difficult to get some to dry my hands. Overall it was a pleasant experience. Panera never lets you down with their food and I always consider it one of my favorite places to go for a meal any time of day. read more

Once again the order was missing components. A bacon egg and cheese sandwich with no bacon or cheese is not what I payed for. This is a problem every time that I have picked up food from this location and will be the last time that I ever order food from this place. Paying for food that is not received is outright theft. If you steal bacon from your customers then you do not deserve to have customers. Go anyplace else but do not go here. read more

The food was ok but over priced with small portions. Seemed to take awhile to get our order as well.

We were in Utica visiting family. Their routine is to go to Panera for breakfast on Saturday so we came along. Really enjoyed the spinach & artichoke soufflé. Walked in and ordered what amounted to a Catering order. Enough for six people. Asked if I could have a heavier duty bag to carry an order including three half gallons in a veritable rain storm. Miserable counter staff. Oddly laid out. I've been to dozens of Paneras from coast to coast and this has to be the worst in the chain. Counter staff will fight you on the definition of a danish. Apple Pay is hit or miss. Ordering counter is oddly shaped and jammed in. The only reason this place is busy is because locally owned diners and the like are non existent in this part of the state. And the closest Starbucks is 50 miles away. Do yourself a favor and drive to the Starbucks instead. read more

I am no stranger to the Panera chain but I have got to say that this is one of my favorite ones I have been to. Maybe it's because its larger than the ones I usually go to in Manhattan though. Because this is a chain, most of Panera's food is usually on the same level when it comes to taste and freshness. Theres is a lot of seating and its super open and spacious. I love the kiosks and they make ordering so much easier. I also find that there's less of a chance of the servers making a mistake in your order. If there is a mistake, though, the servers are really nice about it and are quick to fix it. In general, this place is really clean and the service is good. I great place to eat if you're ever craving some fresh and relatively inexpensive food. read more

Found hair in my salad and my sandwich had avocado on the side of the bread from making someone else's sandwich. I went to speak to the lady distributing the food and she said, it just happens and they could make me another sandwich. How about a refund? Jeez. Bathrooms were not clean either. read more

Wish they would have toasted my bagel as ordered.. Maybe next time. Usually food is on point.

Food was good as usual. No complaints. My problem was when I used the bathroom. I was in the stall and some guy yelled "come on dude hurry up!". At this point I'm confused because the stall next to me is available. I'm now rushing to get out figuring there is something wrong with the stall next to me. I get out and an employee is standing there with a mop starring me down waiting to clean the bathroom. Now I work foodservice.. I get it.. but you don't rush a customer who's using the bathroom. Ruined my night, I won't be returning. I'll get chipotle next time. read more

I love Panera, but this location was in sad shape. Booths were all torn up. Finding everything I needed was like a game of hide and seek. Beverages around a corner and behind a wall, lids and straws on top of a random booth, a few napkins near the coffee, and no condiments to be found. I had to ask for mayo, and after the employee insisted it was already on the sandwich (it wasn't) , she reluctantly brought me some with no knife, leaving me to put it on my bread with the decorative toothpick. read more

I come to this location often, but am regularly disappointed. Even when my food comes good my friends doesn't. Last time we came there was hair in my friends soup and the time before that my whole order was wrong. This time I came and was told that I had 20% off of a you pic 2 after I paid and it expires tomorrow. The fact that I was just told that is very poor customer service which is something you'll experience normally if coming to this location read more

I'm going to start out by saying that I LOVE Panera. I go there 2-3 times a month. The food is always fresh, tastes great, and I don't feel horrible after a meal from there. Today I ordered my usual Fuji Apple Chicken Salad. It's THE BEST! I ordered rapid pick up, paid online, walked in grabbed my salad and came home. The 3 stars is because I got home and had no chicken in my salad. If I had time to go back to complain, I would have, but I ordered rapid pick up for a reason. I was short on time. If I wanted salad without chicken I would have ordered it that way. Very disappointing. read more

My first and last visit to this rip off place. I cant even call it a restaurant since its self serve and apparently self cook. My $7 " grilled cheese" was barely grilled and had to take it home to cook it. read more

Cute place. Love outdoor seating. Every time visit prices go up and portions get smaller. Not worth the $$$.

I use to love Panera bread. This location has gone downhill over the last couple of years. Every time I order the food is sloppy, burnt, or completely wrong. Don't ever order a flatbread here. They literally serve you a crunchy piece of pita bread with the fillings on the side because they all slipped out during the "make it from the grill to the box" step. The only thing I can count on to be good is a bagel which is now the only thing I go there for because I know trying anything else will be a waste of my money. I'm not one to complain usually. I use to manage a Dunkin Donuts. I know how it is. But if my old store served product like this....its just not acceptable. This location isn't worried about their customer base because they don't have a competitor at the moment. Also the young girls they hire there are always miserable, or pay no attention to their customer. They'll be chatting away with their friend or finish their text before they even look up to say hi how can I help you? REALLY?! I seriously hate coming here. It has so much potential but the employees aren't trained right which produces poor service and poor quality. Not impressed. Put this on your skip list. read more
