Avocado, egg white and cheese breakfast sandwich
    Karolina K.

It was good. Sandwiches were a little smaller than I had in other locations and they didn't add the extra avocado I paid for so I had to go back and request it. Other than that the food was fresh, coffee pots were full and the almond milk was also available. The place was pretty clean too.

I really enjoyed the broccoli cheddar soup and bacon Mac and cheese. I would recommend.

A metal piece of who know what compared to a dime.

My grandmother orderEd a chicken salad sandwich, thankfully she opened it up to spread the condiments. When she opened it up she found this little guy on the right. Since we were home she waited until the next day to take it back. The guy at the counter stated fhat he didn't know and that he didn't have anything like that at Panera... when I say a guy at the counter I mean I one of tHeir managers... well no shit. No apology. No refund. Nothing. How would you feel if your loved one was ro eaG this and bbreak a tooth or even choke?

I love their soup. They are pretty pricey but their building is nice and pretty. Next time I go back I will have to try something else.

Harbor Hook and Grille - Tuna Poke Bowl

    Harbor Hook and Grille

    (11 reviews)

Location, location, location! Located near a hot fishing spot, you'd expect a sea fare and that's…read morewhat Harbor Hook has. Not only Great Lakes fish but also ocean poke and calamari. This is not the type of restaurant that you'd expect in a coastal fishing village. My four star rating is based on the above and value. As pictured, the cuban sandwich and onion rings. I prefer battered rings, but these were breaded and seasoned. They were the best breaded rings i've ever had. The cuban sandwich was traditional with ham, pulled pork, cheese and pickles. It wasn't pressed, but that didn't affect the taste, just the appearance. The servers were very attentive and refilled my iced tea three times. Very clean eating area and restroom.

We chose Habor Hook & Grille. This restaurant sits right across the street from the harbor, hence part of the name, and the food pics looked appealing. It was almost 9pm on a Tuesday night, so there weren't many people. It was rather dark when we entered, so I inquired if it was too late to get dinner and we were told the restaurant was serving until 10pm. The restaurant and bar area was a large open area with very high ceilings. There is an outdoor area for seating and what looked like a bar area as well. I asked about daily specials and our server told us there weren't any due to the Harbor Hook & Grille just implemented a new menu with several new offerings. Our server was very friendly and attentive. We ordered the Calamari appetizer (served with a thicker marinara sauce), the Harbor Cubano sandwich with fries, and the Tuna Poke Bowl. Tha Calamari was good, but could've used some additional seasoning as it was somewhat bland. The Harbor Cubano sandwich was also good - roasted pork, sliced ham, Swiss cheese, dill pickles, and mustard. There wasn't much mustard if any, so our server offered any of their sauces - a garlic aioli was selected. This sandwich was served with fries. I am not sure if it was because we arrived so late or what may have happened, but these fries were somewhat mushy and limp. They may have been sitting for a while or undercooked. The Tuna Poke Bowl, in my opinion, was the highlight of our food selections. The flavor of the tuna, cucumber, carrots, radishes, and pickled onions were topped with a spicy sauce that paired very well with this dish. All-in-all a decent dining experience. I would've gone with 3.5 stars if available in Yelp! scoring.

The…read morelobster roll and poutine were both very good, which isn't something you can take for granted at a waterfront spot that could easily coast on location alone. That said, the space feels like it's still finding its identity. The bones are there, but the atmosphere lacks the warmth and character that would match the quality of what's coming out of the kitchen. Right now it reads a bit generic - like those overly curated Airbnb interiors where everything looks fine but nothing feels intentional. The details seem a little unfinished, rough around the edges. With some thoughtful touches - maybe a richer, moodier paint color and some meaningful art that reflects the local character or the restaurant's personality - this place could really come together. The food deserves an environment that matches its ambition.

Let's get to the food shall we. * Bang Bang Shrimp - Its really nice big shrimp. The sauce surfaces really well. I did enjoy this dish. 8/10 * Lobster Brie - The dips is a little muted. Cant really taste the lobster in the dip. Over all pretty good. 7.2/10 * Whipped Feta - It's nice and light. I can taste the honey. Bread is nice too. 7/10 Truffle Fries - Truffle is present. Sweet and savory finish. Its definitely pleasant. 8.2/10 Rock Fries - Cheese is prominent. A little too much actually. The bacon add more depth. The red onions are necessary. 8/10 Blue Gill Slider - I can taste the fish. Theres a slight finish. The tartar sauce isnt very present. 7.4/10 Spicy Fried Chicken - Superb! I did enjoy the texture. Everything I expect from a chicken sandwich is on point. 8.2/10 Lamb - Its a little salty. Almost smacks you in the mouth. The lamb does surface, but all i could really think about it salt. 6.8/10 The setting, specially the outdoor area is dope. Service is very attentive which does take rating to at least a 4 star.
