We came in and figured out by ourselves it is seat yourself. We were not greeted by any of the waitresses with a "good morning please sit where you'd like" and all empty tables were dirty. So we say at a dirty table. It took 5 minutes for someone to come wipe them, another 5 minutes before a waitress came to the table for our drink order. After another 5 minutes the waitress came back for our order. We then watched the waitress go to a couple tables, clean one off, fill another's drink, all before placing our food ticket with the kitchen. New ownership for me, since it has been awhile. I had the Delta Omelette and it was delicious! I didn't see Gyros meat roasting on a spit, and this makes me wonder if they do their own, or use a frozen Gyro meat product. The only way to find out is to return and run a taste test! A note: I wouldn't classify this restaurant Traditional American, except in the Midwestern sense--you know, the 'Coney Island' sense. read more

Sat for 15 minutes and still didn't get asked what we wanted. Just dropped a five for a coffee and a cola and left. Bathrooms were filthy. No TP. Chair was gruesome when I touched it. Need a bath now. read more

Not my favorite Coney Island in Monroe but they are generally quick and cheap. Their breakfast is good and I don't care for their coneys or loose burgers here. read more

Don't let no one kid you...this little place is great. Stopped in for a late lunch...ordered a small greek salad and lemon rice soup...the soup was the best either of us have ever eaten before. The salad was plentiful and good and fresh. After I noticed on the menu they had spinach pie...so I bought one for take out...it was awesome stuff!!!! They also have National chili for Koegel chili dogs...not something from Gordon's. They also have great breakfast food also from what I have heard. I have eaten here decades ago when it was under someones else's care...totally different now. I will be back!!!!! read more

I was here for the first time in quite a while a few weeks back, and it was quite good. They have a pretty diverse menu covering most breakfast and lunch staples, and I always enjoy variety. However, their turkey melt is my favorite. Service was good, although it was pretty empty especially for being around lunchtime, so I'm sure that helps. This is one of those local restaurants that doesn't break the bank and makes delicious, home-cooked food... if your mom was the local best chef, that is! I've visited a handful of times now, and it's been delicious every time. One of the absolute specialties has to be the extensive omelette list; from traditional farmers omelettes to Greek omelettes with gyro, tomato, feta, and onions, they all have one thing in common: a PERFECTLY cooked, huge omelette. NOT at all thick and chewy like all chain restaurants tend to do (in my experience). And of course, that local diner coffee that's done right, every time. read more

This place is right around the corner from where I live, easy access. Their hours are funky, and close early...they have seasonal hours and are closed completely some days. Food is ok. Definitely out of the can gravy on the breakfast menu. You can not substitute anything. Good luck trying. I dislike the mountain of tasteless hash browns they pile on the plate and while they do not allow substitutions they will however omit them per your request, but charge you the same price for a meal with them. The food here is good and the menu is pretty standard for a coney island. The service is a little hit or miss though. Sometimes it's great and other times you feel pretty much ignored, even if it isn't crowded. read more

Delta is sort of our "standby" when we want breakfast or comfort (Coney dogs) food. We eat there about three times a month. Typical Coney island fare and their dogs are good. I particularly like the Greek Combo: a Coney dog, Greek salad, and fries. (Their Greek dressing tastes home made and is really good). Service is always fast no matter how busy they are. Mediocre with a side of mediocre. Soup was lukewarm, Gyro had too much sauce. server didn't bring creamer for coffee until it was cold and then never came back for a refill. Told server we were ready to leave and she never brought bill. I asked for napkins when food was served as there were none at the table. Server never brought them. Fries were cheap store bought, not home cut. Booth was so sticky my daughter stuck to it (wearing a dress). read more

Food is ok, but not worth the trip. The place is very outdated and booths extremely small. It would be ok if their were two of us but we had a family of four and it was very difficult to manage. You're right on top of other customers, plus it was uncomfortably hot. Won't be going again. read more

Food is alright, but they couldnt decide who was our waitress. Barely got any service due to this. Also if you use debit or credit card they charge you 50 cents extra on your bill. They even had the odasity to charge me 20 cents over the credit card charge and just look at me while one lady said she messed up. I was never offered my 20 cents either. Overall bad visit, but the greek salad gyros are great. read more
