DO NOT GO HERE. I don't care how much you think you want Panera. We did a pick up order...I ordered a bread bowl soup and salad with upgraded fruit side. They didn't give me the fruit side or the bread bowl and only included a cup of soup. I called the manager who is a POS. He said it was due to miscommunication and they are out of bread bowls and fruit, which sounded like a complete lie. Not to mention they simply weren't going to inform us and were just going to STEAL from me by not refunding for items I didn't receive. Also this was quite possibly the worst salad I've ever eaten. I'm absolutely livid. The manger only did a partial refund for the cost of the bread bowl. Seriously this location should be shut down it's HORRIFIC. read more

I used to love Panera when they first came to Midland. The 2 times I have ordered the Avocado spinach breakfast sandwich, I paid the added .99 for an over easy egg. TWICE they did not read my order and made it with scrambled. When I called , they did offer to remake it but by that time, I was home and getting on with my day. They obviously don't care enough to make sure their orders are read and accurate. They have lost my business for good in Midland! read more

Loved the food. Thing is the employees are clueless. They don't even know what ingredients they put in their food. Spoke to 4 employees and asked for a side of giardiniera. They had no clue, said they didn't have it. It was still in my mouth from my sand which I was eating tho so I know they had it! I love cola ones to them all the ingredients that were in it and they still didn't know... Eventually she brought some out and I was like "yes! That I want that!" She said it was called spicy G... wtf is that? Educate your employees for Christ's sake I called corporate about it too. Like I wasn't mad, I just thought it was crazy Well they didn't know what it was either!!! Shit be whack yo' read more

I have eaten at Panera in other cities so I know what to expect. This location is new and still working out the bugs. If you can run a smart phone please skip the counter! The employees are hard to hear because everyone is so loud and they don't hear what you are ordering. I asked for the Chipotle chicken avocado sandwich and she typed in chicken bacon. She didn't even hear my husband order mac n cheese. She apologized and said she'd been there a long time that day. I got the choose 2 with a cookie for.99¢ and a reg tea my meal was $14.99, a little high even for all natural. Food was good not super. The restaurant was clean and the tables have cool places to set your order buzzer so servers know where to deliver the meal. Only salt and pepper are in to go packets. Not sure it will be outstanding in the west Texas super size culture. read more

Panera Bread - Choose 2 Chipotle chicken and tomato soup with apple side. - Salad Near Me - Midland, Texas

Don't waste your time!! I love Panera but this location is a joke. I've had them give me the wrong soup, wrong sandwiches, they run out of breakfast items every single time. They ask you to park and take 20 minutes to prep drive thru food. I've given them so many chances bc I love the pick 2 meals but the service and food quality is soooo bad. Save yourself the headache... go to mcallester's or pot belly or jimmy John's. read more

I love this place. I go out of my way to pick up something to eat and I'm never disappointed. My favorite breakfast is their egg soufflés. My favorite sandwich is the roasted turkey and avocado sandwich. read more

Horribly ran Panera. Been to Panera in many other places and love them. Will not be back to Panera midland - not worth the wait or money. Today we waited at least 20 minutes and the order was wrong and the rude kid taking orders preceded to argue about how the order was not wrong. There are plenty other BETTER places in town to go. read more

Horrible location and horribly slow!! Apparently an ice coffee at this location is half ice tea and half coffee. I've given this place a try five different times and have never been able to consume my meal and or drink. Shame on me. read more

I'm not a complainer so please don't consider this as such. It's really more of a warning. I have eaten at Panera all over the country. This is unfortunately the worst I have experienced. Let me give you a timeframe: Friday 12/14 at 7 pm so not super late. Their bread and bakery selection is wiped out. No bother. I'm ordering a salad anyway. The girl with the nose ring at the register (they don't wear name tags) is confused when I ask for the sprouted grain roll instead of the baguette. She looks around awkwardly and announces that they have baguettes. Sensing her confusion, I assure her that the baguette will be fine. She types in the order charging me for an extra baguette. I catch this and have her delete it before paying. This is just the beginning. My husband orders a "you pick two" of chicken noodle soup and a steak and cheese sandwich. His soup arrives. No sandwich. A kid with a cast on his wrist delivering the plate says he'll check on it. He comes back with the sammie on another plate. See my photo of the inside. It looks nothing like the poster up front as there are 2 measly pieces of meat. Half of the onions are on the plate. It's pathetic. To top it off, the soup was served cold. My husband takes it to the counter and is told that if he wants it hotter, he can microwave it! Unbelievable. For the record, my salad was fresh and tasty. The overall experience was otherwise off putting and next time through Midland, we'll eat somewhere else. You should too read more

Put in an online order and they didn't make my food. When i asked a manager to look up my name it came up but they just struggled when i asked why it wasn't made 15 minutes ago. I waited over 35 minutes for two things. Do not eat here. read more

This Panera is a joke. I keep coming back because I love Panera and try to overlook the mistakes of the people working there but today was it, we won't be back. They never give you the correct items in your order but this morning I did the rapid pickup for a dozen bagels and a couple souffles. Got in my truck and driver over. Sat and waited for half an hour before I finally asked where my stuff was. The manager told me his bakers didn't bake any of the bagels I ordered this morning (wtf?) and that they were out of souffles. So they literally had none of what I ordered. And couldn't call and let me know before I left my house. They let me sit for half an hour waiting on them and had NOTHING from my order. Wtf Panera. We won't be back, the service is just miserable, even for midland. read more

WHY can't this Panera ever get an order right? 95% of the time, we have to send it back. There's a sign on the wall that says if your order's not correct they'll give you a free treat from the bakery, but if you ask about it, the staff give you a blank look like they've never heard of that before. It's right there on the wall! Think it's a defense mechanism. They'd go broke if they actually gave something away every time they got an order wrong. read more

I don't even want to give this place 1 star horrible service waaaaaayyy too expensive. The agave lemonade is disgusting. I waited after going through the drive through 25 mins. Then they didn't even have my food for me ended up getting my money back and leaving. Don't eat here! I do not recommend read more

I went through the drive thru and ordered a sesame bagel with two honey walnut cream cheeses. The girl taking my order said "Ummmm I don't think we have that. Does that complete your order?" I said "so are you going to check? Just in case I need to pick something else?" She said "oh well I think we have it. Please pull forward." So when I finally get to the drive thru window the manager says "All we have left are French toast bagels. So I'm sorry I don't have a sesame bagel for you." I'm not sure who's in charge of training, but knowing what you have is kind of important for working at a restaurant especially if you're at the drive through. This is the 3rd time I've made it through the drive thru after ordering and they don't have what I ordered. I love Panera but the one in Midland is a severe disappointment. read more

The worst. It was decent when it first opened, but now it smells like a dirty cafeteria and the tables are always sticky. They have hired people that hardly speak English which makes ordering very difficult. Our order is almost always wrong, which is very frustrating when you pick up to-go and get home only to realize it's not what you ordered. Also, they never have any cookies to purchase. Not worth the money you pay for the food here. read more

I love Panera so much :( but I officially broke up with the Midland location a few months ago. After several wrong orders and dried out, hard food, I just can't anymore. They are always out of pastries. You have to order about 5 different ones until they have one that you want. When I finally picked a pastry they had, a chocolate chip cookie, I took it back to my table and realized it was hard as a rock. I took it back and said "I'm sorry but this is hard as a rock, could I get something else?" The cashier said "Oh my gosh I KNOW RIGHT." Then why did she serve it to me? Lol. I got a pumpkin muffin but threw it away because it was hard too. I spoke with a former employee and she said this location is keeping pastries for days to cut down on costs, when they are supposed to throw them out nightly like Starbucks. Wow. Makes me sad. I really love Panera in other places! read more

This is the worst Panera I've ever been to. The staff could care less if I come in to spend my money and keep them employed or not. They make no effort to provide any decent level of customer service. I bought a "Pick 2" meal (it was $15 with a drink!) and the sandwich was no better than a plain bologna sandwich you could make at home. Absolute waste of money! Save your money and go somewhere else. read more

Was ordering all the time from Panera Bread. Loved the edamame bowl that they use to offer. Went on to their menu the following week and all the bowls changed. They all now have brown ice in them. Certain things on the menu are great, but not the salads...when you pay $11 for a salad with chicken and can barely see the chicken in it‍ Also the container for my to go salad wasn't even filled. My family and I came to Panera to get a coffee and scone. We waited in line for over 10 minutes when there was only 2 customers in front of us. When we went to choose our scones, there were FLIES all over them. When we got to place our order, we asked if thy had any fresh scones in the back because of the flies, the cashier girl rolled her eyes and strolled to the back only to tell us there was nothing back there. Many many employees were just standing around and goofing off while we sat for 15 minutes waiting for 2 lattes (we did not order the scones). Everyone was just standing around talking to each other instead of rushing food out to their customers or getting rid of the flies. I understand it being fairly new, but seriously in disgust of the lack of leadership and cleanliness. Will not be getting our business after this experience. read more

Food was not very good and it's a little pricey. You can definitely go somewhere else with better food and prices. Also the water cups are filled with RO water, very salty and heavy. Disgusting read more

Beware: Manager and staff at this location have no idea what ingredients are in their products and will make your food wrong. We had already verified ingredients from the Panera corporate webpage. Local store contradicted. Called corporate and they said manager should have offered me a black binder that details all ingredients. Instead the lady taking our order and the supervisor they called over said none of their products met criteria and argued with us holding up the post-church rush hour line. They did not offer the black binder as corporate said they should. After ordering a salad with no cheese and no chicken, it arrived with heaping amounts of chicken. How hard is it to make a PB&J sandwich and a salad to order? The manager also gave us attitude at the table when we asked him to fix our order. After making a corporate complaint, the negative feedback is being channeled for manager education and retraining. The matter was not handled well, resulting in holding up a line during peak hours, lost profit by having to remake an order, and the loss of a potential repeat customer's business. Panera would do better to ensure that corporate standards for making meals align with local production standards. They should not advertise products as free from certain ingredients when they don't intend to follow through at the actual stores selling those products. read more

10$ dollars for a small cup of soup and a HALF of a sandwich is nuts. (Not including a drink.) My daughter wanted mac and cheese. Literally waited 35 mins just for one small single order of mac & cheese. For about 15 mins I watch kids playing around yelling at each other "no you make the mac n cheese, no you make it". Standing there goofing around They were about 16-18 years old. I can't believe I waited so long just for one small simple thing. There was another another lady infront of me very pissed off waiting for there food as well. She grabbed her food and drinks and got out of there fast. I understand if the employees were busy and had other important things to do. But there wasn't that much people in there. Just me, The other angry customer and two small family's inside eating at the tables. I was just excepting to walk in & out. I talked to the manager, he was kinda rude, ask me "well are you wanting a refund" well isn't it obvious. Hello?! He didn't seem to care much, so I asked for the number for corporate, wasn't really a big deal to call, but I wasn't already pissed off and nobody was taking me serious. All for a damn mac & cheese.... I was so excited for panera bread opening in midland but I promise you I won't go back anymore. I'll just go stick to McAlisters! read more

Panera Bread - Salad Near Me - Midland, Texas

So many people have commented on how they love Panera Bread BUT how the one in Midland is the worst ever. I will add my agreement to everyone who has voiced their disappointment. I have spoken with manager after manager (it is a revolving door) and nothing ever changes. Are these restaurants franchises or are they owned by the Panera organization? One would think Panera would send some experienced staff to help clean this one up. After being away all Summer, I stopped in for a salad and many tables were still filled with dirty dishes that had no attention in the 45 minutes I was there. Disgusting! Marianne read more
