I have ordered from this West LA location many times, and using the app for rapid pickup is usually incredibly smooth. For lunch, I recently ordered the You Pick Two combo with the creamy tomato soup and a half chicken avocado melt, which came out to $16 after tax. The best part about ordering through the app is how easily you can customize the items. I added basil, caramelized onions, sliced tomatoes, and salt and pepper to the melt, and it completely upgraded the flavor. With a side of chips, everything was fresh, warm, and delicious. I also frequently use the app to grab breakfast here and usually order the garden avo and egg white sandwich. Just be aware of the morning timeline if you are using the app. Even though breakfast is listed until 10:30 AM, the app actually cuts off orders around 10:25 AM. I wish they would update it to reflect the actual cut-off time because that five-minute gap has burned me in the past when trying to order. The morning rush can occasionally be a little hit or miss beyond the timeline. A few times they have missed an ingredient or two in my customized breakfast order, and one time I went to pick up my food and was handed someone else's order that had my name printed on it. It looks like the labels just got swapped on the bags and the other customer likely got my meal. When a mix-up like that happens, I don't bother driving back to the store. Instead, I just reach out through the app customer service and they quickly issue a credit for the next visit. I'm not a big fan of leaving 1-star negative reviews, but this is the case I could not ignore. I have visited this panera location 1 hour before closing. The restrooms were kept closed because the stuff had already cleaned them, and never wanted to see somebody using them after that. I completely understand those people who works there hard, but if you have a sign that your restaurant is working until 8pm, then make it work until listed time. If it's too difficult to keep it working such a long time during a day, just decrease amount of working hours. Other benefits of visiting this place 1 hour before closing is no milk at the coffee stand, and tired and dissatisfied responses from employees if you need to ask for something. read more

This is a Panera Bread To Go location, so there isn't any tables to sit at and eat from. You also only order at the kiosks along the wall. There are a couple of benches to wait at. Ordering from the kiosks is pretty self explanatory, and you can fill up on your drinks at the side. The wait took a while for our food, so don't expect it to be super quick. Security camera footage is shown on the TV at the ceiling also! There's a small parking lot to park at. The cold sandwich I got was okay, and the tomato soup was hot but somehow tasted lacking in flavor. I did like the caesar salad though and the veggies were very fresh and tasted good. Overall a satisfactory location. However I wish the speed of service was better, especially since it's a to-go location! read more

Panera Bread is a chain and has a plethora of locations. I had a hankering for a nice hot tea and that's exactly what I got. It is a Togo location and not very many places to sit. The space itself was clean and very well kept. There is not much interaction with servers (being that it is a to go location), but my order arrived right on time. The restrooms are locked behind a key code for customers only. I would definitely stop here again. read more

Let's just say.... It did the job. It was a hot day... Traffic in the area (West L.A.) was horrendous... And there really wasn't a lot of options to choose from. But it was lunch time and I had to eat something. So I spotted Panera Bread and I went with it. First off, the area is not the greatest. Second, this was by far the weirdest Panera I've ever come across. No indoor or outdoor table seating whatsoever (not that I'd want to stay around this area anyway)... And it just didn't give the normal "Panera Vibe". You order at a self serve digital kiosk and then either stand or sit on a wooden bench and watch your food literally being made in front of you by their team members. The whole experience just left me wondering if I'd ever return to any Panera again. The grilled cheese was just o.k., like I said earlier... "it did the job". Not Panera making a comeback! Lol. Didn't even realize they'd opened a location here but I'm happy they're here. It's more of a pickup location rather than dine-in and chill spot and I love that. I ordered online through the app to pickup, swung by and asked the staff for my order. They had it tucked safely away so no one else would take it off the shelf. The manager or shift lead was super nice and she had great customer service. $8.29 for a half sando, cup of soup, and bread? Perfect sized meal for me! read more

We ordered the food online for delivery for a workplace lunch. It arrived and many orders were incorrect. For example, the Bacon Mac & Cheese arrived sans bacon. Some sandwiches were incorrect. This location just opened within walking distance of my office so we decided to give it a try. Unlike other locations, this is purely a to go location but honestly I think that works out well since people are in and out pretty quickly. Also, the parking lot here is not huge so it's good to be able to just hop in, grab your order and get going. That said, it's pretty spacious for a takeout place. There's a bunch of tablet kiosks for you to order in the store or you can order ahead online or via app. When you arrive, there's a large area where pickup orders are waiting as well as a TV screen showing which orders are already done and which are still being prepared. There is also a member of the staff helping distribute the pickup orders and she was super friendly and helpful. I honestly haven't had Panera Bread in a long time but my co-worker really loves their soup. I ordered a Chipotle Chicken Avo Melt and a Strawberry Poppyseed Salad. Both were really good! I especially loved the salad. It was really more of a fruit cup crossed with salad greens and super refreshing. I really like the poppyseed dressing. Will definitely be coming here and again and probably ordering catering for office lunch. read more

My order was schedule to be picked up at 140p today and was not ready until 2:07p. As I stood there waiting for my order the team had no care to help me. They continually stated that they were busy and long delays are what happens. I stated that I place my order ahead of time for pick and he said it didn't make a difference. He kept telling me I needed to order earlier but why allow me to schedule a pickup time if it not going to be met. Why not adjust your pickup time quotes to suite the delays due to business levels? I asked for a refund because I had to leave and they told me "No". They said I have to contact customer service to get help or a refund. I am a fan of the food but this is unacceptable. I was over 30min late back to work and your team could not have cared less. Professionalism and hospitality are the name of the game and today was an epic fail. Will not be back! read more

You need to know this isn't a normal Panera, this is for takeout only. The staff was patient and truly helpful. There isn't real ambience as it doesn't even have an ordering counter only the digital kiosks and windows for pick up (this is where the friendly staff was). They are fast, efficient and the food tastes like Panera anywhere else. There are clean bathrooms and the drink stations are well maintained. The location is clean but it doesn't have tables. Only two long benches for people who are waiting to pick up their food. I ordered via my app which was easy and ended up eating it in the car. It was okay for what it is.... The quality was not even close to what it would be at a regular Panera location. Definitely won't come back. Black bean soup was super watery. The bread was heated up, but super doughy in the middle - at least they kept the outside crunch consistent. Honestly for $45: 2 salads and a soup, definitely a rip off. First time at this Panera and it wasn't great. I'll try again in the future. Hopefully it'll be better. Firstly the price: $25.26 for a tiny cup of soup and a mac n cheese w/ bacon bits is just too high! Holy cow that's a lot of money for just average comfort food. Next, they're out of pumpkin-shaped cookies. Cookies are probably one of their most profitable items and they were out. They spent a grip on advertising the cookies because I see them everywhere, just couldn't buy them. Bread bowl was missing from the order. When I inquired they gave me a bread bowl but it was cold. Other Panera restaurants have warm bread bowls. Broccoli soup was super watery. Bread roll was very hard and chewy. I don't recommend using uber eats for ordering Panera bread. They don't allow for ANY requests. So you aren't able to ask for more salad dressing. They give you a tiny half ounce or dressing in a 1 ounce cup for a "full" salad. There also not any way to ask for butter for the side of bread. These things are all easily available when dining In. This location doesn't allow any customization or requests. The chicken and wild rice soup was watered down when it arrived. I wouldn't order that again for delivery. When dining in, it has a pleasant consistency, but when this arrived, it was watered down and not good. read more

A couple of months ago when I saw the sign of Panera Bread on this door with "Coming soon" I was so excited to have it close to home. I've always enjoyed the variety of the menu. Being able to walk up and have a great looking salad made, a great sandwich or some soup. I've always enjoyed the food since I seem to get what I've asked for. This place is the new version of "to go". You order on an app, online, or if you walk in on some iPad in the store. Your food is made in the back, put in a bag and placed on a pick up shelf. You pick up and go. No human contact, no one to look at and say "a bit more of that, and little less of this... can I have Romain instead of Green mix". Perhaps because the person making the salad is also looking at the person about to eat the food, they care about what they are making. It seems like making a salad or a sandwich for a faceless person, based on a ticket does not require the same care. So far I have placed 6 different orders. We've tried Sandwiches, soups and salads. Every item and order has been correct. Any modification we've requested was done correctly. And that is to be appreciated. But so far the food has just been acceptable. That's it. It seems like getting airplane food (when we used to get airplane food) when you are hungry and out of options. Seems like someone is just going through the ticket and checking off items and tossing them on. No pride or care about the finished item. Asking for Sweet Peppers, corn or onions means tossing a few pieces on. Asking for chicken on a salad gets you something that resembles a gooye sliced piece of something that looks like chicken Jello. Sandwiches are put together with whatever portion came into the scoop. I know the pictures taken by the business are made by some food artist, but I would expect those artist to at least provide a little bit of guidance or training to the person making the stuff. The breads I get on the side of salads or soups are always cold and hard as if made the day before, while I see fresh bread on racks when I go to pick up my food. Not sure if this is a new standard we need to get used to since there seems to be no more human contact in food ordering or pick up process, but should the standards of food be lowered because of this??? I hope someone from the restaurant reads this, and try to improve things. This place is obviously brand new, and the interior is just amazing looking. The kitchen seems as beautifully setup as I've ever seen. So I do hope that the staff would also take a bit more time, and pride in preparing the food.
