From where I was eating, I could see across the eating area and see the worker chewing on her nails then prepare food.

Disgusting in terms of hygiene and food preparation. Seen the cook or food preparer person, remove her mask, bite her nails, spit nails out then continue to make the food.

Hands down, this is the best Thai food I've had anywhere in the US - and I've eaten a lot of Thai…read morein a lot of cities! We don't get to Lawton often but we seek this place out first when we do. This is our first time in their new location which seems to be a better spot for them - more space and it's a much newer building. Decor is still essentially the same at their new space - various Asian art throughout the space, however, new location is a little less intimate with a lot more tables, hard surfaces (cement floor), and noisier due to higher ceilings. Food: Still the fattest and freshest summer rolls with the most kicking peanut sauce ever! Tom Kha Jay is still the best here with the added veggies like broccoli and those amazing little mushrooms in the best coconut broth I've ever had. Tom Yum is also excellent here- tangy and spicy. We both got green curry- because they have the best green curry sauce in the world- my date had it with chicken which was good quality, and appeared to be primarily breast meat. My curry was with tofu which was firm and lightly browned and chewy on the edges, super yummy! Service is still wonderful- and a lot more folks are working in this bigger spot than the old one! We enjoyed the service and prices are still very good with such big portions. Each entree could be 3 meals! Cannot recommend more highly! Please keep them busy so they'll still be around next time we visit!

I've lived in Lawton three separate times over the past 12 years, and I finally tried Mutti's for…read morethe first time. And I loved it! The bread was fresh, the salad with pickled cucumbers and green beans was refreshing. My schnitzel plate was hot and crispy, and I couldn't decide on just one side so I got two- the German potato salad and red cabbage. I loved both. Kind of wish I would've added the sauerkraut too though. Lorenzo got the sampler plate with a little of everything, and I heard zero complaints from him. He even loved the homemade curry ketchup. But I think his favorite was the giant mug of German Dunkel he got to drink. The girls loved their kid schnitzel plate too. We could t leave without dessert, so we grabbed a lemon streusel cake to go. The best part was the atmosphere and staff though. The longer we sat, the more restless the kids got. The staff told us they had a kid's section with toys and a play tent that the girls were welcome to. They went from bouncing off the walls to not wanting to leave. I can't believe it took me so long to try Mutti's, but now I can't wait to come back!

Mutti's is an absolute gem in Lawton. I ordered the sampler and everything on the plate was done…read moreright, hearty, comforting, and full of authentic German flavor. The sauerkraut was especially good, tangy and perfectly balanced. But what truly stole the show was something simple and unexpected: their vinegar salad. Canned green beans, fresh cucumber, and shredded lettuce soaking up the most incredible, clean, old-world vinegar dressing. It was humble, honest food done exceptionally well, the kind of dish that sticks with you long after the meal is over. You can tell this is food made with care and tradition. If you want real German comfort food, Mutti's is a must-visit. I'll absolutely be back.
