I ordered two pick two's to go and received two soups, but only one sandwich that wasn't marked. One was a tuna salad and one was a chicken salad so I had no idea what I had but went back to the drive-through, , so they opened it up and then made me a half of a chicken salad sandwich after they opened it. To add insult to the situation, the girl that prepared my to go order said she put two sandwiches in there as though I'm lying! To think I gave them a tip on top of an overpriced $27 order really has me irritated. It was my first visit at this Panera in a while and I promise I will never go back. I called this evening to advise the store that they may have a food poisoning issue with the French Dip, thinking they would want to be aware. Unfortunately the store manager, Kia, hung up on me. Not sure why the poor reviews. This place isn't a 5/5 but our local Karens need to sit down and appreciate these teens learning to prepare food for the first time in their lives. 1.) Fast service. We were seated immediately and had our food in less than 10 mins turnaround. Faster than my experience at the Boardman-Poland location. 2.) Fresh food. We had a rather large order - for 7 people. All the different orders were well-prepared and fresh. Not one complaint. 3.) 100% the reason for my review - it's peaceful. Utter bliss walking into a relaxing, quiet environment. read more

Unfortunately this establishment is not operated like any other Panera establishments. I visited this location on a cold evening and it was almost empty. I walked up to the counter to place an order and an employee in dirty clothes stood facing me texting on his phone then walked into the back of the restaurant. I then walked over to the other side where sweets are sold and two employees were busy conversing and ignored me. I said "excuse me" and could not finish my sentence before the rude employee barked that I will be with you in a bit without any eye contact. As I continued to wait I saw how filthy the restaurant was and decided to leave. I called to speak to the manager later out of discuss and she was as unprofessional as her staff. I asked for the corporate number and she told me she was not allowed to give it to me. This is completely unacceptable for a public restaurant. read more

After I got to the window I sat there at least another 12-15 minutes watching a bunch of orders being made on counter at drive thru window for a big order while I sat there for one coffee and one breakfast wrap. No acknowledgement of any kind that I was sitting there all that time. Finally got order. Sandwich was good. Coffee was Luke warm at best l, tasted old and just plain sucked. I forget the total bill but thought I should at least get what I pay for. Not so much. Hard to believe something so poorly managed is operated by Covelli Enterprises. C'mon Sam. You can do better. And the comment about l the "Karen's?" Can tell you I'm no Karen and this location plain sucks. This was probably our team's go-to place for lunch. It was busy during lunch but not crowded. I ordered the Chipotle Chicken Panini sandwich ($7.39), Broccoli Cheddar Soup ($4.19) and a soda ($1.69). My food was ready before I filled up my cup of soda. lol The Chipotle Chicken Panini was good but didn't make me full which was why I had the Broccoli Cheddar. The Broccoli Cheddar was creamy and I should have dipped the bread in it. I was full after finishing everything so that was good. I came again later in the week I was in town for one of my clients. I ordered the Italian Combo sandwich ($7.19) and it was pretty good; however, the bread was a little bit too oily for me. I suppose that's how it was supposed to be. The manager (or I think he is) was cleaning up the trash cans and greeting everybody who came in. He even asked everybody at our table to see if everything was okay. I think having a place where everybody was as friendly as this manager was good. Good place for some simple food to eat. read more

It's a real shame you can't give less than one star. This Panera is the absolute worst. From extremely poor customer service to food taking forever (soup and salad)really? The management of this location is NEVER around and appears clueless as to what their employees are doing (numerous on cell phones or congregating talking). Poor training and lax management make this one of the worst stores I've ever been in. The sad pet is that try is just isn't a one time issue. Consistently I've the past year this store's performance (or lack thereof) has been in steady decline. At this point I give up. I'll find another local place and spend my money there. Today there are so many choice and it's a shame that this store doesn't bother to care and appears to have no management supervision. I bet they close within the next couple of years. read more

My girlfriend and I decided to stop here on the way from Erie to Pittsburgh for lunch, as she had some Panera gift cards and this was the closest one to us. We both ordered classic grilled cheeses; she got the Pick 2 of a half grilled cheese and creamy tomato soup, and I ordered a whole grilled cheese and shared her soup. We got a baguette to share as well. The grilled cheese and baguette were both very good; i'd highly recommend dipping them in the creamy tomato soup! The service and ordering experience left me a little confused. After we ordered, we didn't receive a pager, like at other locations, nor any receipt or anything to identify which order was ours to pick it up; we kind of had to guess that the order was ours. Overall, the food quality was good, as i've come used to from eating here, but the service was a little bit below average for me. However, if i were in the area again, I would give this location another chance. read more

I'm not that big a fan of Panera and today really sealed the deal. I do like some of the menu items but for what you get I don't think it's worth the price. Today I ordered a half of sandwich, chicken fontina, and a half of salad, the Fuji apple chic salad. I also ordered a drink and a cookie for almost 16.00. I used rapid pickup, I didn't get a baguette that came with meal and no silverware. I didn't care for the sandwich it had a good flavor but was soggy. I ordered my food for 2 min after I arrived so it should not of been sitting there. Also my salad barely had two crumbles of cheese in it. I just feel like if paying 16.00 for lunch it should be so much better. I'm always disappointed and feel like I could of sat down somewhere with better service and better food for the same amount and tipped a server 20%. Panera is just not my jam. read more

My wife's bagel was burnt, she had to ask for cream cheese which he has specified when ordering. The same woman who had just taken our order had forgotten our bear claw. She was surly and unpleasant. Went through the drive through and gave my order. Usually they say something like "ok pull forward". Not this gentleman left his mic on and was having a social conversation with another person. I sat there for about two minutes and it seemed he forgot about me. So I pulled up. It was a bowl of soup. But it took 10 minutes. I cannot possible take 10 minutes to ladle soup into a bowl, add a chunk of bread to a bag and hand it off. I know, because I used to work at a different Panera location. What I did see was a group of employees standing around talking to young female customers, laughing and joking. Saw an employee texting (the one that was working the window). I'm usually the last person to complain, especially when a place is understaffed, or the staff is new. So don't call me a Karen. But 10 minutes on a bowl of soup? Jennifer and I are here to do school work. We have never tried this before so we were armed with our macbooks and walked into try to be trendy adults. The wi-fi is slow but steady and we have been here over 2.5 hrs. The staff is friendly and whoever the girl is that is cleaning is performing fast at frequent intervals. We also love the tea ginger-plum and blueberry acai. we just at Denny's or I would get some food, but then again the prices of food in Panera is extortion. I don't care if they say its healthy and fresh, you can spend 30 dollars here and still be hungry with coffee or a drink. Dislike-Its small and not personal if doing school projects. The booths don't have plugs for computers if they aren't charged. Our warren location is huge and spacious and you could disappear and be productive. I had become sort of a regular at this Panera. However, after an experience there today, I will not be back. I ordered the roasted turkey fuji apple salad. I went to my hotel a few miles away and noticed some black stuff on the inside of the box. I thought it may be from the apple chips rubbing, but I was wrong. Only after I took a bite did I realize it was ROTTEN field greens. So I called Panera from my hotel and told them that the salad was rotten and they said they would make me a new one. I politely asked without onions, and they said sure. I travel the few miles back to the Panera, and they apologized and gave me a new salad. I open it up, first thing I notice, onions. They asked if I wanted to check this salad out. I said sure... so I went over to the garbage can, picked out the onions. Everything looked good, and I didn't see any field greens. But it just turned out they were all at the bottom and again... ROTTEN. I took it back to the cashier, and I politely asked for my money back. She readily gave it back to me with a "sorry." Their sandwiches are an exercise in hiding lunch meat in fancy bread with odd-named cheeses. You'd be better off to walk across the street to Giant Eagle and buy the lunch meat and bread make your own sandwich. Hell, they don't even have fries - you can have a bag of chips though. What is this my high school cafeteria?!? If you're a metrosexual who wants to spend more money trying to be hip and hanging out in a coffee shop while blogging on your Macbook Pro, this is the place for you. Just picked up a take out order with a lentil quinoa bowl for $9.19. Got home and opened it and this is what I found (see photos). I was so disappointed. The paper bowl was almost empty. The contents barely covered the bottom of the spoon. For almost $10 for a fast food item, it should at least be filling. This was not a one time occurrence. Rude encounter with an employee today. There are two menu boards in the drive through. I was stopped at the first one reading the specials. An employee is standing on the right side of my car wanting to cross in front of me. I didn't see her at first due to reading the menu. When I did notice her, I waved her across. She then goes into the back door of the restaurant (the door was open) and I can hear her talking/venting about me to another employee, saying how "she (I) wasn't even looking." Sorry that I wanted to read your menu and decide what to order..I just found it rude how she was talking about me (quite obviously annoyed with me for not seeing her right away) right in front of me and it will make me think twice before continuing to spend $9-12 here almost every day throughout the week for lunch. read more

This restaurant consistently provides subpar service. They are always out of coffee by 8 in the morning. And they tell you it will take several minutes to brew a new pot. This is the worst Panera I've visited! When ordering we specifically asked for a WARM baguette. The girl taking the order said, "Like a whole one? Or just a piece of one?" This should have been our first clue! We stated we wanted a WARM baguette loaf. Go to pick the order up and it's a cold baguette and we asked, "Do you have any warm baguettes? We wanted a warm one." She went and got another young girl who came and said, "Like, it's already cooked." Every Panera I've ever been to has offered to warm a baguette up if they didn't have any warm already. None have told us they were 'like, already cooked' since we have eyes and can see it is, in fact a cooked loaf of bread. But when you order a WARM baguette if they don't have a WARM baguette and refuse to warm said baguette for you, then one would think as you ordered you would be told, "We don't have have any warm baguettes and I'm not going to take the two minutes it takes to warm it for you. You can either have this old, tough bread that was baked this morning or nothing at all." Instead they wait for me to pay for a good they do not have. I definitely will not be back to this Panera location and NOW I understand why I was told by others who have only visited this location that they did not like Panera.
