Coffee is never "hot" and no microwave as found in most Panera's. When asked for fresh coffee after already receiving my food I now ask for help at the kitchen. Today very rude young lady states that's not my job. The young lady with her states the same and says that's the managers job. This has become a regular thing at this Panera. I inform the manager you're a coffee breakfast business. She has her own complaints and obviously "The Buck Don't Stop Here" . Paying it forward so here's your chance. I will not give up on Panera and enjoy meals regularly at Panera. Fortunately I have three Panera's near me. PELHAM ROAD needs help . read more

I came here to drive thru one morning and they weren't busy at all. I was the only one in line. I asked them if they had anymore cinnamon rolls and she had to go check and said that they had one left. I decided to get that as well as a drink. When I told the girl the drink I wanted she seemed really confused as if she didn't know what it was. The cinnamon roll was definitely pass for me. The icing was crunchy and the roll was not fresh at all. I'm sure it was old since it was the last one left. Definitely not worth the price. The coffee I got was good. It's nice that they have a drive thru! read more

Placed an order online and it was ready quickly. The app said it was ready 6 mins early. I know some apps will tell you an order is ready when it actually isn't, but not this one! It was ready when I walked in. Food was average, consistent with other Paneras I've been to. Restrooms were also clean. read more

My mom had a medical procedure done & wanted Panera afterwards. THIS IS WHAT SHE GOT!? For a place so expensive, you'd think they'd at least make the sandwich somewhat good. $15 for a half-a** sandwich missing almost everything on it?? Don't go to this location or any at that matter, overpriced for the bare minimum. read more

After my last 2 orders I'm just embarrassed for Panera. My Mediterranean salad was $9 with no protein, 1 tbsp quinoa, 1 tbsp cheese, 3 olives, a tiny bit of cucumber. So confused how this is decent to offer to a customer for $9! PDQ and Chick-fil-A across the street offer amazing salads for $8. Then my previous chicken Southwest sandwich literally had a sliver of chicken, less than the amount you would offer a toddler. I can not support their salads or sandwiches. Bakery is great, love the sourdough and cookies. Stay clear of the rest! read more

I went to pick up through the drive thru and was waiting at the window for only 6 bagels. I sat at the window waiting for 10 minutes and none of the staff cared. I honked the horn numerous times and I saw the staff looked and completely ignored me. The service here is terrible do not even waste your time at this location. Do better! read more

I've been here two days in a row now and sat for hours, as have many members of the community hit by Hurricane Helene and now without power and internet. It is so appreciated that this location chose to open their dining room to us, even if they don't have all the staff that it would normally take to function at full force. Thank you so much! I'm sure these last several days have been hectic and stressful and then you guys are likely going home to the same no power situation that the rest of us are. Your work and willingness to be there for the community is appreciated! (Also I enjoyed the food and latte). read more

Came in with a friend. She got a huge Caesar salad no chicken. Well it turns out it did have protein. Not chicken, but a roach. Will NOT be coming back here. But hey if you like extra protein for free this is the place for you! read more

I will never patronize this place again. Food is way overpriced for what you get. Portions are much smaller than any PB that I have ever been to. But the worse thing about this place is the extreme rudeness of the manager. He needs to find another line of work as hospitality is most certainly not his gift. He insults paying customers with an angry attitude. Maybe the job is too much for him. Nevertheless I will be avoiding this place and recommend you do too. read more

This is a nice location. Very clean and set up well. The problem I have is that it's freezing in the building and all my food and the food my friend had got cold quickly. And egg isn't pleasant when it's cold. But it's still a very nice Panera. read more

Love this new location! So cool and very convenient! I'd give it 5 stars without hesitation - except that for a brand new place, they already have filthy bathrooms. Hard to believe how quickly they could've gotten this dirty. We can't see the kitchen, but to me the cleanliness of the bathroom is the best indicator! Too bad - poor management. read more

Panera Bread - Kitchen - Salad Near Me - Greenville, South Carolina

This location is very nice! There was plenty of open seating, there was no line at 1 pm on a weekday and I like that Panera uses dishes and cutlery now. I had the Edamame soba bowl which was yummy and had a lot of veggies. 1 star off for overpricing but that is Panera in general. read more

Might be the worst Panera in the country. Poorly managed/trained staff, extremely slow service, incredibly rude, food is carelessly prepared - overall terrible experience. Avoid this location. read more

The restaurant is usually really dirty with napkins and trash all over the floor and while the food service is usually quick, it's almost always wrong. I come here almost every day and I always have a wonderful experience. Perfect? No. What restaurant is? In these difficult times, maybe we can give people a break. Some of these reviews are severe. Perhaps your day was awful when you walked in the door. No restaurant experience was going to fix that. Neither is submitting a bad review. If your experience was so bad that you think you need to submit a review saying the place should be closed and turned into a hooters, maybe you should reassess your purpose in life. I've been here more than any reviewer on here. The people are very kind. That's goes for the managers and the workers. The food is very good. I should have my own table. I sort of do. Try the BBQ Chicken Sandwich or the chicken and rice soup. My favs! read more

Food fine but mister manager in a pink shirt needs an attitude check. I'm sorry if I didn't know mask were mandatory when last time I visited they weren't. But when you say I need one and I ask if there's one I can buy from y'all (BUY not be given but buy, with my own money.) the appropriate response is yes ma'am or no ma'am, as I am a customer not your friend. The incorrect response that I just went through is not to huff and sigh and roll your eyes as you tell me to leave. I'm human not your child or dog, fix the attitude as it far from wanted or needed. Also discretion is a thing that exists, there's no need to try to publicly shame people for making a mistake and you drawing attention with your attitude was just that. Get over yourself, I promise your not that important that you can make me feel anything but irritated, you are not family, your a just a rude man with bad attitude. read more

Love the interior and exterior. I like how the breads are displayed at the front register so you can customize your sandwich based on what you see. I like that they have a self order section so you can make your own order on the tablet. I like the different seating space they have. They have a lounge/couch area, a community's area (where there is a big table and you can just sit together), the typical booths and tables. I like the food here a lot but they are pricey for what they are (soups, sandwiches, salads). The salads and sandwiches are around $10 for the full size. read more

I normally visit the August Rd or Haywood Rd location but this morning I decided to visit the Pelham Rd location. I pulled in the drive thru and the lady came over the speaker and said "One Moment Please". Then she came back and said that "It would be 10 or 15 minutes before she could take my order because there was other people waiting". I repeated what she said just to make sure I heard her correctly. I advised her that I could not wait that long. However when I pulled off there were only two cars in the drive thru. One at the window and another behind it. read more

Tonight was the first time I went to Panera on Pelham Road in Greenville, South Carolina in a very, very long time......I may never go back. If it were not for Quinton, the young man that was able to put my food in the bag for me I would not even leave a star. Thank you Quinton.! You were the only person that worked at Panera that spoke to me and that includes what appeared to be two managers in the front area that never registered seeing us. I understand that we are all going to self check out, etc. but I have never had to place an order before, so it was very frustrating not to know what to do and not have anyone at the front to tell me the direction I needed to take. if the young man and lady at the front were managers, they are urgent need of social skills. Quinton would be a better manager than the two individuals I saw running around like they were confused. As far as the restaurant it looks clean however, that could be because they were very few people there so I ambience I guess would be a an almost star. read more

Girl that took my drive thru order couldn't have had more of an attitude or tone that she hated her job. Ordered through the app and had my order set for an hour later to be curbside picked up. Panera waited an hour later until I got there and said I was there until calling and telling me they didn't have more than half of what I ordered. I ordered three things from here, one of them being a flat bread. I went to go pick it up and once I got back home, I realized there was no flatbread in the bag. I called to ask if I could be refunded, and was at first hung up on. I called again and they finally pick up and go "your flatbread was in the bag on top we cannot refund you", but there was no bag on top. There were only two bags on the pick up area, and the other one did not have my name on it. After the rude lady told me this, she proceeded to hang up on me while I was talking to her. Unbelievable how rude and inconsiderate this worker is. Would never recommend this location to anyone. read more

Service here is constantly slow and rude. Food is always ruined by the time it is received. Toasted sandwiches burnt, drinks melted, waited fifteen minutes in the drive through for just a smoothie that ended up being melted by the time it was handed over. This store has the worst customer service ever. One morning I got stuck in their drive-thru line (behind the one car at the window) for over 15 minutes. To avoid being late for work, I had to exit my car in the pouring rain and ask the person behind me to back up so I could leave. I don't know why an employee didn't ask the person at the window (who appeared to be picking up an office-sized coffee and pastry order) to park in another spot so the line could start moving. On March 13, I ordered in-store pickup through the app. When I arrived, I got a text saying my order was ready. However, it wasn't on the pickup shelf or counter. I waited 5 minutes, but nothing showed. For another 10 minutes, I tried to get the attention of a woman behind the pickup counter making sandwiches. She refused to make eye contact and deleted my name from the "ready for pickup" list, and another employee walked by 2-3 times and stared at me without asking if I needed help. Finally, I went to the front counter and saw that, as usual, no employee was at the front counter to greet/help customers. I called back to someone working a ways back and explained. She went over and remade my order. While waiting, I set my drink on the pick-up counter, and the woman who'd ignored me the entire time finally spoke to me, asking me to move my drink. There were no signs saying I couldn't do that, and I've seen others do the same thing. Being scolded and condescended to by this woman who'd ignored me AND deleted my order without placing it on the shelf or handing it to me is why I'll never visit this Panera again. read more

Only one star cause 0 stars is not an option. $20 for three bagels and apparently how a toaster functions escapes the workers. Went yesterday. Tried placing my order. Counter help spoke so fast jumbling his words together that I couldn't understand anything he said. I had to ask 3 times what he said and still couldn't. This Panera Bread location is down the street from NHC Healthcare Greenville where my mother is a resident. My mother is delighted to come here to eat the macaroni and cheese and chicken noodle soup. Melissa, the manager onsite every time we visit, works very hard to make sure we have what we need. In fact, I have watched her during Sunday lunch at the pick up counter and walking to each table to see if she can help anyone. The food has been delicious. And I love the clean open seating as well. Super satisfied! read more

The food is good I'll give them that. But I have a 30 minute break and when 20 minutes of that 30 minute break is spent waiting for my food it kind of ruins it. I don't even have time to eat the food I've just paid for. I'm spending 12$ on a bowl of Mac n cheese and a cookie and don't even get a chance to eat more than 2 bites before my break is over. I've worked fast food before and if our wait times were more than 5 minutes we got in trouble so I think this place needs better management. It's hard to recommend this place when I barely get time to eat if I choose to come here. I've also been to other Panera bread locations and NONE of them have EVER taken this long. read more
