Awesome bakery...well stocked, friendly service. Excellent baked muffins, scones and cookies.

Not sure how to do this review, walking in here the staff is super friendly and smiling, the menu seems to have awesome and creative options so we order, we are 2 adults and 2 kids 6 and 11. Everything is underwhelming, the flavors and portions, the price point is just out of whack. This is not anything remotely to want to come back to. Yes, great friendly smiling people, but not worth the drive and expense. read more

Worst Panera experience of all time. Spent almost an hour and my entire lunch break waiting for my lunch (a bowl of soup that only needed to be ladled) and was turned away with no food to make it back in time. When I asked to be refunded the lady behind the food preparation counter responded with "does it look like your lunch break is my problem we are short staffed". After this I found the manager and was eventually refunded but nothing about this experience was remotely acceptable. I will not be back. read more

Kinda of a bummer...this place used to be a go to for delivery for my family but they have since fallen off our radar. The soups seem to always be cold and the customizations we request aren't done. (Allergies!) The restaurant is always clean so that's a plus? read more

GET. THE. "You Pick 2"!! You won't regret it!! Pleasantly surprised how responsive and knowledgeable the front end clerk was in regards to my order. It came out quickly and looked wonderful, with steam coming from the soup bowl. The Thai chicken soup was AMAZING and so satisfyingly hot and creamy which complimented the Asian crunch chicken salad so well!! I love the great selection of soft drinks and teas as well as coffee. Eating on ceramic dishes with actual silverware was so nice! I hated using styrofoam and cardboard dishes and plastic utensils as a result of COVID protocols. I would definitely return!! read more

Panera Bread - Take 2!!! Thai chicken soup and Asian crunch salad. So good! - Salad Near Me - Grand Forks, North Dakota

Absolutely love this Panera. I got a Togo order today accidentally ordered a hot coffee instead of cold, and they were amazing. They Offered to fix it I told them we could just pour the hot over ice no biggie! Small talk was so friendly. Overall lovely experience and I will keep coming back! read more

$10.16 for a loaf of white bread when the ingredients cost less than $1.00? I mean, I get it, ".....employee costs, franchise fees, property leases, etc." but gimme a break. Your bread is good, but it's not being baked by Julia Childs. Why not give the common consumers a break instead of worrying about how to fill the pockets of the already worth $40B, Reimann family? read more

I ordered a new Sandwich on the menu and asked what came on it. I was told it came with multiple things including chicken, onions, chipotle sauce, tomatoes, lettuce etc. -The worker who took my order was incredibly hateful and didn't give me a receipt. I also got my sandwich- opened the container and it literally had chicken and onions mushed between to pieces of bread. I have always loved Panera (white girl- of course) I will never go back to this location again. This isn't my first experience with not receiving what I ordered and they randomly close when they please- even before COVID. read more

Panera Bread - Frontega Sandwich- "New recipe" - Salad Near Me - Grand Forks, North Dakota

Spend 40$+ dollar on two meals. The spicy take meal and you-pick-two meal. They forgot the soup. You gotta be kidding me.

Always fast and friendly even during their busy days! The cashiers are all friendly and Kelly in the drive thru is the best around!

I really enjoy Panera, as I used to work there and loved the food. But for the past year or so every time I go it's a hit or miss. I normally get the toasted frontega chicken and it comes with a really good chipotle aoili. Unfortunately, almost every time I've gotten it it's been some sort of spicy chipotle sauce and does not taste good with the sandwich in the slightest. I know they didn't change to sauce because my mom got it the other day with the normal sauce. It must be different cooks using different sauces but it would be nice if they would make sure they're using the right sauce when they make it. It's literally one of my favorite sauces and i genuinely am so sauce and disappointed when i realize it's the wrong sauce. Its tastes so bad with the spicy one I can't even eat it. read more

All I wanted today was soup so I got home after a long day and ordered some soup. Chicken and wild rice soup. What came to the door was not what I asked for at all actually it was a bright yellow soup with black seeds in it. Clearly not what I asked for. The job of these people is to read off a screen and put the food it says into a bag. No cooking is even involved at this mediocre restaurant. Reading and placing in bag. If you are that unskilled that you can't do that I think you are doomed for life. There are people who work 9-5 everyday doing manual labor and you can't read and put food in a bag. read more

Amazing customer service and amazing food/drink!! The window worker was so nice and gave us a complimentary cookie for being the, "nicest customers of the day!" 10/10 experience Highly recommend the Prickly Pear read more

Plus sides: comfortable seats, fireplace in the cold, free refills, microwave, nice glass storefront. But I was disappointed with my pick 2. I asked for dine in, I got take out, I asked for extra Lettuce and tomato's, They forgot, I wasn't asked if I wanted chips or apple for bread w my pick 2 so I had to ask for a bag of chips. The salad pieces were wilted and blackened and unwashed, the soup in the tiny container was 3/4 full in the already minuscule cup, I didn't get any utensils for my soup but just a fork for salad, barely any feta cheese but maybe 10 crumbs for my Greek salad, French onion soup had tiny flakes of gruyere cheese if any, and my table was dirty. I cleaned it myself. Panera is one of my favorite places to eat in the US but this one in Grand Forks was disappointing. I wish they would listen to the orders more carefully and wash the veges and throw out the blackened and wilted pieces of lettuce and fill the cup to the top for soup bc the cup is already tiny. Sad former Fan of Panera. I hope my next visit is better at Grand Forks. read more

I come to Panera every morning and order the same thing. I've noticed my bagel keeps getting smaller and smaller. Then today there was no egg on my sandwich. Guess it's time to find a new breakfast spot read more

Panera Bread - Avocado "egg white" and spinach - missing the egg white ‍ - Salad Near Me - Grand Forks, North Dakota

Just your average chain store! It's great for a quick fix for something healthy. Soup and salad combos! Simple toasted sandwich! Soup bowls like the Chili or Thai wontons. I love the Thai wonton bowl because it comes with lots of veggies. The broth claims chicken but really taste like soy sauce. I have low expectations since it's an American restaurant trying to make Asian food. When you are in grand forks ND your options are limited! read more

I'm a Panera addict I'll admit it and this location does a good job of keeping me coming back. It's a very busy lunch spot in Grand Forks but they get through the long lines quick 3-5mins wait time. Panera Bread - Salad Near Me - Grand Forks, North Dakota

This Panera is terrible the worst service I have had. They burnt my friends bagel, 3 days in a row they were out or bread bowls. Terrible, do not eat here. Soup was cold when I got it. No idea how you can messy up soup when it's just in a heating pot read more

Panera Bread - Salad Near Me - Grand Forks, North Dakota

The annoying thing about this place is the that I like it. I like the sandwiches, the salads, even the pastries. The thing that makes my blood boil is the bait and switch they do when you order online. If they are out of something they still charge you for it and then ask you to choose another item. I don't want something else, I want what I ordered. If you want your money back you have to wait for the manager, who I assure you is in zero great hurry to make time for you. Completely destroys the rapid pick up benefit and leaves me very dissatisfied. Happened to me twice in a row. First time I boycotted the place for months. The second time, same problem, I'm never going back. Either let the register staff do a quick refund or automatically refund what is not available. A better solution is to keep an accurate online inventory. This should be possible in the computerized automated age. read more

I've never dined-in here but I have ordered delivery about 15 times through online ordering. The delivery times are very fast (10 minutes one time) and the food is hot, shakes are still cold and the order is always correct. Great service! read more

You pay a little more than a fast food joint here to get much better quality food. Everything here tastes amazing and the portions are just fine and right on par with every other Panera. The service provided at this location is particularly nice. The employees seem extremely kind. Every now and then they will even come and offer to take our plates away or see if we need anything else. read more

Panera Bread - Sierra turkey sandwich and wild berry smoothie - Salad Near Me - Grand Forks, North Dakota

I've been here multiple times and it's a place that you'll instantly notice puts time and care into making its food.

Everyone is always nice to me there, I usually get just a drink or something & study but if I do get food the bread bowls are a classic. I love the blood orange lemonade! The lobby is usually clean I actually watch them cleaning the bathrooms are really cleanAs well read more

The first time we went here I was really disappointed, but that was a week or two after it opened and it wasn't designed for the huge crowds (Which admittedly could still be a problem. The lay out really doesn't work well for large crowds). The second time we went for noon lunch there wasn't as big of a crowd and we really enjoyed the food. I just wish I could partake in those great looking bakery items. All in all it's a good lunch and bakery place. Nothing fancy, but a nice change of pace with great bread and soup to boot read more

It is without a doubt the worst panera I've ever been to. The chicken on the Cobb salad was frozen. They were out of avocado. There must be a store in town that sells them. I ordered a beverage and the counter person gave me the wrong drink. CRAZY read more

Your food is good but your pricing is RIDICULOUS. I stopped by the drive through to get a regular sized cookie and it was $2.50! For lunch my husband and I had lunch specials and the bill was nearly $30. You are not a gourmet restaurant. You are not even a full service restaurant. Where do you get off charging so much money for your product. On a previous visit our "waiter" shared that even he couldn't afford to eat there without his discount!! Get over yourself and start charging reasonable prices. I will not be returning until you do! read more

I absolutely love Panera but this one in Grand Forks is very disappointing. The portions quite small compared to other Paneras. The soup is always cold. Also, the place is absolutely filthy. Hopefully they get their act together and improve this location or I'm going to have to go elsewhere. read more

The meal was timely and the soup was good. They forgot to put one in a bread bowl but fixed it right away. Very good service. I will have to hit them up before I leave again. read more

Where do I start, has such a bad experience with my cashier, he didnt know what a bread bowl was (I am pretty sure he was high on weed) I then asked to see a manager, it got even worse after that. I dont even know how this guy got promoted to manager. I explained my frustration to him and he just flipped me off and then told me to piss on a wall. I believe his name was Rick or something like that, I have always had trouble with him. One time I was trying to get his attention but he was busy crying in the back, all I heard was him mumbling about how he was lonely. I really think this could be a good Panera if the manager got fired or demoted. -Austin. read more

I gave them 2 stars in my last review, largely based on bad service, but I love Panera, so I went back with hopes of a better experience. Not so much. The line in the door is a mess. Some folks think there is one line, others think there are 2 or 3. This causes angry customers as the perception of line cutting causes a bad impression right from the start. A high point was the register service today, as she was very polite, but unfortunately for me, the line chaos allowed the last plain bagel to be stolen by someone behind me in line...very frustrating. Then when I went to get my food (to go because cleanliness was an issue last time), they called our name. When I tried to get my food (bag), there was an employee looking exhausted with arms and grand leaning on the counter directly in front of my food. I tried to politely ask for it, but it became very awkward. She glanced around, looked doubtingly at us, and very reluctantly moved. I don't know what's going on at this place. The company really needs to throw some secret shoppers this way. read more

Super nice staff. Even with a huge skating event in town, they were able to handle the crowd. Food was spot on and tasty. Wifi was excellent as well. read more

The Panera Bread in Grand Forks, in my view, excels in the bakery department, which has an excellent array of breads, bagels, and muffins. They also have a good selection of desserts. The service is generally pretty good. The menu items are more on the OK to pretty good side as I tend to think Panera needs to revamp its sandwiches and salads and make an effort at providing higher quality options. Not that they are bad, but they are not outstanding. I often buy bagels and breads here as they are consistently very good. If you like breakfast, then try their breakfast souffles as they are definitely quite good. read more

Their food is usually quite tasty, but their drive-up definitely needs improvement. I was just there getting a group soup for the office which typically comes with a ladle, cups and silverware. No cups or silverware for a second time in recent months makes it quite impossible to eat. Then when you call, they think you can drop everything and drive back a couple miles to pick up. Definitely a quality control problem in getting orders right! read more

Fast and delicious! Wish they always had bread in stock though. Which is why you have to come in early.

I love their bakery! I bought some tomato basil bread for a get together and it was amazing. Can't wait to try some of the other stuff!

The high rating goes for service at the Grand Forks Panera We ordered to go meals and in one, the French Onion soup had no cheese, the Noodle bowl was the wrong one. We received a sincere apology and they replaced both items with added cookie dessert. They were so nice and did all that they could to make up for the mistakes they made. The food was tasty and filling. read more

Panera bread in grand forks has successfully struck out, I have given it 3 chances to prove itself- and they have forgotten soups, and chips, and made the completely wrong sandwich. I said 3 chances, because after my first two visits I was convinced that they couldn't let me down THREE TIMES IN A ROW... Until about an hour ago when they proved exactly how much they DO NOT CARE about their customers. I recommend going ANYWHERE else for your food! read more

My coworkers & I have ordered Panera a few times for delivery and have always had pretty good experiences. This time it took over 2 hours to receive our food. I placed the order at 11:08am and it was delivered after 1:15PM. I received a text that the food was on the way at 11:19AM even though the suggested delivery time was between 11:45AM-12PM(Which we were fine with) At 12:15PM I decided to call as we still had not received our food. The Manager was very nice and said there was something wrong with their delivery system and the driver was back on their way with our food. She also offered 4 free pastries which was fine. I was tracking the order online and I could see the driver coming in our direction then the driver turned around and went back to Panera. At no time during this did I receive an update as to what was going on with our order. A phone call would have been nice. I tried to call again after seeing that the driver was back at Panera. The line was either continuously busy or no one answered. Finally the driver showed up after 1:15PM with the order. He apologized and said the other driver got into a accident. Im not sure what to believe as I was told two different things. We would have been much more understanding if there really was a car accident and there was some communication from the business. Our food total was $63.00 that took over 2 hrs to arrive and we were offered 4 free pastries...If I could give zero stars I would. read more

I have never really had any problems with a Panera before until I went to the one in my home town. The salads were smaller than previous salads I have purchased at different locations and they are not cheap salads. They forgot my salad dressing and the strawberries in my mom's strawberry salad. They gave me bread when I asked for apples. I called and they appologized and claim to be sending me a coupon in the mail. I know shit happens we are humans, but it wasn't even busy when I went in to the place. Very dissappointing for a place that I usually love. And they didn't have any avocado. read more

Nice store, but this place still sucks. $11.00 for a bowl of soup, and a sandwich the size of a toddlers? Why is it more expensive to eat here than Olive Garden? Last time I checked this was not a restaurant. After pulling up to the drive in window after placing my order was given a dirty look from the attendant, and she returned shortly with my overpriced meal and gave me another dirty look for the road I guess. The food was fine, but extremely overpriced for what this place is. Will not be going here again. I can get overpriced food and dirty looks somewhere else in this garbage city. read more
