Dropped in for a quick snack since my boyfriend was hungry. I ordered the summer corn soup and the cashier asked me what side I wanted with it. I think it's safe to safe most people assume that when asked like that, a side would be included with the order. I chose the fruit cup. My boyfriend also chose a fruit cup as the side with his caprese sandwich and salad. It wasn't until we paid and got our receipt that we realized we were charged for both fruit cups. There was no mention of there being an extra charge for those. We did not say anything, but once our food was up we noticed they forgot to even include the fruit cups. We requested a refund for them, which fortunately they provided. However, this Panera needs to work on communication and customer service. There was no apology for the inconvenience or any sign of remorse. As far as the food, caprese items were okay and the soup was good. They also got my boyfriends regular iced coffee wrong and gave him a latte instead which we didn't mention. They clearly need to have cashiers go through more training before being on their own. read more

I've driven by this location more times than I can count living in the Sugar Hill area and being frequent visitors of the Mall of GA and this shopping center in particular. In the past, I am not a huge fan of Panera bread in general. This is not because the food is not good, it is because for the bang for the buck sandwich place, this is not a place I would choose to go. I would probably rank this place as more of a gourmet sandwich shop based on the price because you'll probably walk out spending $12-15/person. Located in a stand alone building in front of the Best Buy/Target shopping center, this Panera Bread gets a lot of traffic or it's just due to lack of parking that makes it look a lot busier than it is. On this particular visit, my in laws decided to take us out for lunch. I knew I wanted a salad and landed on the Green Goddess salad. Fantastic salad with ample avocados and chicken, a little heavy on the arugula but still delicious. The service seemed fine. UPDATE: My nephew had caesar salad and got instantly sick. Probably the dressing. Please Panera Bread management do a thorough investigation on this store especially how staff is handling food. This isn't a 5 star restaurant therefore I don't expect a 5 star service and food. What I do expect is my soup hot and my fork clean (which it wasn't, should of took a pic). Went here on Memorial Day and was initially thrilled somewhere was open. However, I was disappointed by my experience. The woman at the cash register seemed annoyed by everything I said. She asked if I wanted my bagels sliced and toasted but looked frustrated about having to do either. I ordered 5 bagels. Every bagel I asked for she gave me a look of frustration, like not another one! My order was to go and she did not give me napkins or a knife for the cream cheese. They also only had 2 cream cheeses instead of their normal offerings. I love Panera coffee and bagels and usually it's a reliable stop on the road. read more

I'm surprised at how many bad reviews this place has. I come here about once a week and I've always had a good experience with their food and service. Today was the first time they got my order wrong, but they rectified with awesome service. I wish I asked for his name, but the manager on duty tonight (10/6/21) went above and beyond to help correct my order. My family and I ordered dinner at this Panera using the mobile app, but when I got home, I saw that one of the side items wasn't in the bag. I got in touch with the manager on my drive back to the cafe, and when I got there, he brought out the missing mac & cheese, along with an extra mac & cheese, a muffin, and a green smoothie to compensate. I honestly was just expecting like an extra bag of chips or a soda, but the fact that he wanted to make sure my drive back would be worth it spoke volumes on his commitment to give his customers a good experience at the restaurant. Woodward crossing Mall if GA Panera Bread is the worst Panera experience I've ever had. Went through the drive through and although the drive through attendant was courteous and patient, the food was anemic and prepared incorrectly. The chipotle chicken avocado had a tiny amount of chicken inside (laughable), the chicken Caesar salad that was over $10 was a bowl half full with romaine lettuce and no parmigian..The summer cucumber tomato basil salad had No basil and No dressing, which we didn't find out until we arrived home-20 minutes away. Stopped by for breakfast and service was great. Our order was taken by a friendly cashier our order was correct and we only waited about 5 minutes for it. We go to Panera very often for their chicken and wild rice soup, but rarely go to this location. I ordered the soup. On my first spoonful, I noticed that it was barely warm so I took it back to the pick up station and told them about it thinking they would get me a fresh hot bowl. The girl told me that there was a microwave oven in the front of the store by their coffee and that I could heat it up there! I asked if they could just pour me a fresh hot bowl and she said that the soup all comes from the same container so that it would be same temperature. I guess they make their soup and then just put it in a big pot sitting on the counter and not on a heating element!!! We probably won't be coming back to this location. read more

I love Panera Bread...the location is conveniently located around the Mall of Georgia which is awesome. While the food was good we couldn't find a clean table to sit at...we had to go to the bathroom and dampen our napkins and clean the table...surprisingly an employee saw us cleaning the table and didn't offer to help. This is not the first time I've encountered this it's not even the second time either, dirty tables and restrooms at this location. Meanwhile the tables were dirty the manager was running around with her handbag over her shoulder with the most annoyed look on her face and quite oblivious to what was happening. The worst Panera bread I've ever been to on the planet. I have been here a handful of times I only write this review because this is the last time I will ever eat here. They can never actually complete my order correctly ever. I just went through the drive-through 10 seconds ago and told him I wanted a bread bowl with a baguette and of course they gave me chips. This Panera location is a huge letdown. For starters, it's almost a guarantee that they'll mess up your order. Something always seems to be left off. My favorite foods to get at Panera are chocolate chip bagels and chicken tortellini Alfredo. If I get the former, there's a 50% chance they'll forget my cream cheese or put the wrong kind on the plate. The latter, and I'm guaranteed a meal that is cold in the middle. Customer service also leaves much to be desired. That's another 50/50 shot: half of the time, the cashiers are friendly and accommodating, but the other half of the time it's clear that they just want to get your order over with (even if there's not a line). It sometimes feels like an annoyance to be a customer there. Lastly, the online ordering system is beyond screwed up. My family ordered bagels to have on Christmas morning over 24 hours in advance and when we went to pick them up, they were missing half of our order and the majority of the bagel choices were out. Talk about disappointment! We were given a refund, but were not offered anything for the inconvenience or disappointment. Guess this is one Christmas tradition that we'll no longer have. I'd like to point out that the man in line behind us experienced the same problem, and as we left he told us "Einstein Bagels is still open. I called to check and they still have bagels." Looks like Einstein might become our new bagel spot Update 4/4/2020 This Panera continues to be a huge letdown. I feel like all the problems I included in the initial review still stand, thus I have not removed or changed any of that. But new problems with having items out of stock are becoming an issue. Service and atmosphere was great but by golly the "sandwiches" are not up to par with the other locations. Me and the my friend always get the pick 2 for 10. He usually get his steak panini and I opted for the steak and arugula sandwich rather than the chicken chipotle panini. Big mistake. His "Steak" was 1 or 2 slices balled up on single piece of cheese between old bread. My steak tasted like it was barely left to thaw and thrown in the microwave to heat up. We love this Panera. The front staff has always been nice, our order has always been right, and they have a drive thru! We started coming here after multiple bad experiences at the Panera on L'ville Suwannee so we are happy to fill our Panera cravings elsewhere. Tonight I did get a little bit of attitude from the drive thru when I asked them to put in my number to see if I had any rewards. That was the first semi- "bad" experience I've had there. One of the worse locations I've been to. The girl taking our order kept insisting they didn't have white bread for my kid's ham sandwich. Another employee had to go in the back to check. Look at my pictures and see how puny my half sandwich was. It had 3-4 bites of steak on it and almost no horseradish sauce and almost no cheese. It was also burnt in places. The service at this location is HORRENDOUSLY bad. And what's worse... they don't care. They don't care that you didn't get what you ordered. They don't care that they charged you for someone else's order. They don't care that your sandwich is missing ingredients. They truly don't give a crap. I am amazed at the number of reviews that say essentially the same thing and yet, the management hasn't made a move to retrain or replace employees who behave as if they'd be better suited for work at the DMV. Overall I think the other reviews might not be entirely fair. I go to this location A LOT. I work close by and get to visit a lot more than others do. I believe their service could be a lot better at the checkout. There are a few workers that you can tell just don't want to be there or put in any extra effort! Regardless, the food is just like every Panera out there. If you have never been to a Panera before try the you pick two and try a soup and sandwich in the winter, salad and sandwich in the summer. My absolute favorite thing on the menu is the Napa Almond Chicken Salad Sandwich. Crazy delicious! read more
