I love eating at Panera Bread, but this is by far the worst location I've ever been to. The workers were extremely loud, almost yelling at each other, which made it hard to even have a conversation with my daughter. The coffee was empty, the almond milk was empty and the trash was overflowing. And to top it off, my order came out wrong. I didn't think it could get worse, but it did. How is this store open. Worst service. My main complaint is the self service coffee is always empty. I mean always. Why have a coffee program that makes people wait 20 minutes for coffee? Add to that, if you point out they are out, usually i get "well, we are busy". No apology. Just got to wait for them to make the coffee. The service was spectacular; I actually said to the person I was with, I think this is the most pleasant server I've ever encountered. It truly was wonderful to see someone passionate about their job and the food was great as always. We both got broccoli and cheddar soup in a bread bowl because they were out of mozzarella for the flatbread and our only complaint is they never give you enough soup to truly enjoy the bread. The location is very clean and the atmosphere is relaxed for a lunch date, work meeting or doing something on your computer. I feel like the prices were better than other locations considering I paid $19 something for both meals and usually don't get out of Panera for under $25 for 2 of us. read more

I bought 3 Cobb salads last night and there was a bit of a wait. Obviously they were out of Cobb salads and threw something together real quick. Mine had no chicken, a whole uncut egg very little bacon and a little piece of avocado. The salads looked like something my 8 year old granddaughter would put together. I gave one star because zero stars was not an option. I tried to use my Unlimited Sip Club here without success. I spoke to the manager, Mike who was very unprofessional. Despite me showing him the membership on my phone App and the fact that they had all my info on their computer he would not honor it. He said it didn't show on his computer. Service via the drive-through is painfully slow. So many times I've had to get out of line because I couldn't wait any longer for what I thought would be a quick lunch break (20+ minute waits). They are also frequently out of stock for items listed on their menu. I love Panera's egg soufflé, but more often than not, this location either says "we don't have those today" or "we haven't made them yet" or "we're out of those." If it is a regular menu item, I'm not sure why they don't have it the majority of the time. Disappointing, and much better customer service at Starbucks right next door. read more

I want to preface this review by saying I love Panera bread at all the other locations I have visited. I ordered a chicken Baha salad and a French onion soup combination. It took an inordinate amount of time to complete my order I then asked for pepper. the staff responded that they did not have any. After my completed meal arrived I noticed the salad had no chicken. I took it up to the counter and the staff member said that was the way it was rung up and walked away. I then asked to speak to the manager who said she was too busy and also walked away. Finally when she walked by again I again told that my chicken baha salad had no chicken. all the while my soup continued to get cold. She finally she said the order was wrong up wrong and I would have to got to the person ordering to pay extra for the chicken. The counter person argued that I had not ordered the salad with chicken. She then could not figure out how to charge me for the difference in what I ordered and what she rung up. she called another staff member over who assisted her in ringing in the extra dollar and change. After I paid and only then did they start making my Salad. Meanwhile my soup was ice cold after this 20 minute ordeal. I will continue to frequent Panera , just never again at the Brockton location , which is staffed by rude and incompetant staff. read more

I just bought panini steak and white cheddar from them today. I got back to work to eat my food and my steak tasted funny and stunk. So disappointed. I went through the drive thru tonight at 8:00 and spent $43 on two sandwiches, 2 soups, and a brownie. When I got home the veggie sandwich had no feta or hummus. Just a pile of lettuce on two pieces of bread. The signature chicken sandwich had no parmesan crisps or garlic aioli. The most important things that make the sandwich. I called back to ask for a refund. No receipt was given to me and used a debit card. The girl Zoey answered and told me she spoke with the two sandwich makers (Izaiah and Jeremy) who both said they put the toppings on the sandwich. I even offered to take a photo. I cant believe as a customer I am being lied to. Clearly theres a mistake with my order and I am calling for a reason. Make the situation right and fix the mistake. Unbelievable. Panera is overpriced as is. I went through the drive through last night (you couldn't see the menu because the lights were apparently broken). They "ran out" of broth bowls for the night. The woman taking our order was extremely rude. We asked for chips as a side but got bread instead. The salad dressing tasted so rancid I couldn't eat it. This wasn't the only occurrence in which I was EXTREMELY disappointed with Panera. I have been served ice cold Mac and cheese, a tomato mozzarella panini with no tomatoes, a lentil quinoa egg bowl with chicken?? Seems like every time I go to this location there's always an issue. Tonight I ordered 3 meals through curbside pick up. I checked the bag and I was missing a bread bowl, soup, and they had given me chips instead of baguettes && the soup I did receive was a cup instead of a bowl. I went inside and nicely let the cashier know I was missing a few items, she told the manager. I didn't receive an apology from anyone and the manager seemed annoyed that he had to grab me my missing items. He basically threw the bag on the counter and said nothing. So upset!! Leaving this Panera now and realizing that my small no chicken no wonton Thai salad has chicken AND wontons! Ordered Panera from curbside the family soup and salad plus some of her items. The soup was good as usual. But the salads that gave us had barely any lettuce and filled the container less than 1/3. This was suppose to be enough for 4-6 people. It barely fed 2. And I had to buy lettuce to add to it. There was a promo of spending 50 and you get $10 gift card. Nope. Just decided to try the new flatbread pizzas. So we got one margarita and one cheese to try both. Honestly the WORST pizza ever. We threw them both out. The basic cheese pizza was just flat bread with American cheese melted all over it. It was so, So gross. The other margarita pizza had two dabs of basil but other than that, no flavor. I am a fan of this Panera location even though they've messed up my order about five times now. I live about 15 mins away as well so when I need a Panera fix, I know where to go! They really need to follow directions though because it isn't hard unless the training isn't adequate. The last time I ordered a breakfast sandwich, I asked for my egg and cheese to be on a whole grain bagel and instead, it came on the sprouted grain flatbread. My bf ended up getting the whole grain bagel with his turkey sausage egg white breakfast sandwich. Also, the bagel wasn't even cut right and the top was sorta flimsy looking. The flatbread actually tasted decent and the woman making the sandwiches was really bummed because she messed up, so I tried it anyway. I am not giving a lower rating altogether because the customer service is on point here and the dining room is always clean. Oh and if they mess up your order, the receipt says they give you a free treat and will remake whatever wasn't accurate. This location is located on Rte 123 in the same plaza as the Bertucci's, Bamboo Garden chinese restaurant, and Starbucks. The highway to 24 N and 24 S is ahead after the set of lights if you're wondering! I like that they have a drive thru because at times, people are just on the go like those folks at Dunkin Donuts hehe. However, the drive thru option here is hit or miss cause if someone has a large order for the kiddos, it takes forever. Rapid Pick Up is another option if you order online with your MyPanera rewards card. I have done it here vs drive thru sometimes, and it's honestly faster. It doesn't take long to walk in and pick up your food either. Rapid Pick Up is located near the waiting area for your food and drinks. I've ordered from here a few times the drive through can be slow I would usually go in and it's a bit faster they have a nice dining room to sit down in very bright and spacious. You can place an order on your phone or on the tablets in store, they're kind of a pain to use but not a big deal. Do not go to the Panera on Belmont st Brockton. My mother-in-law and sister-in-law and myself went the people who work there are RUDE. He thought the order was for take out so my mil told him no it's for here. He was so mad that he had to take it out of the bag. Wouldn't talk to us took him 10 minutes to take it out. No hello or thank you nothing. I asked for a container for my Mac and cheese he threw it on the counter with 2 lids and walked away. I took the second lid and threw it back. I will never go back. This used to be my go to Panera but lately they don't seem to know how to make a latte anymore. The last 3 times I've gone there and had a latte they've had to remake it. This last time I don't even know what it tasted like but it was not a latte. Maybe they need to train or retrain their staff or maybe clean the latte machine. I happened to open my email this afternoon about a FREE Bagel every day from Panera. In the email I see the new "Panera Grocery" where you can get fresh produce, milk, and more added to your order plus free delivery if you spend $15 or more. Due to COVID-19, we have not left our house since April 1 (almost 3 weeks!!). Needless to say, we are long out of milk and fresh produce, and are having trouble finding time slots for the grocery pickup services, so I clicked to see what was available. Ten minutes later, I have placed my order for a few items - milk, bread, cream cheese, avocados, tomatoes, the free bagel, and of course, hot mac & cheese! Not even 10 minutes after that and the Door Dash driver has arrived with my order! AMAZING! He left it on the front steps as I had requested, maintaining social distancing. Fresh milk! Fresh bread! Hot mac & cheese! Everything I ordered was there....except for the cream cheese. Not the end of the world, but a bagel without cream cheese is like Oreos without milk. I called the store and Monique answered the call. I explained the situation and she immediately apologized, acknowledged that she had forgotten to put it in the bag. We left it that I would probably stop by the store's drive-through later this week to pick up the cream cheese since they were closing soon. About 45 minutes later, Monique called me again and asked if she could drop it off on her way home since we literally live up the street from the store. She said she felt really bad about it. I told her it really wasn't that big of a deal, but sure, if it wasn't out of her way, that would be appreciated. A short while later, Monique, wearing a mask and gloves, put a bag on my front steps. Based on suggestions in the news, we left the bag outside in the cool weather for a bit. Once we brought it inside, what an awesome surprise! Not 1 but 2 tubs of cream cheese, another loaf of bread, 2 more avocados, AND $20 gift certificate! Monique has taken customer service to the next level! Thank you, Monique! Ordered breakfast wrap, and there was practically nothing in it. not even one egg. When I asked about it, they say they have to weigh it. Worst breakfast wrap ever. I'm starting to really like this Panera Bread. It's in a great location, and it is always fully staffed for the lunch time rush to accomodate employees of local businesses. It is located in a shopping center with a Bertucci's and a Starbucks, too. There is also a drive-through, too. I'm not sure how effective the drive-through is since all food is made to order. The food is standard for just about every Panera bread, and although I normally go there during the lunch time rush, they've never messed up my order. Staff is friendly. On nice days, there are tables and chairs set up outside tor patrons to eat outside. The only gripes I have about this Panera Bread are the parking and the waiting area. Since it's in a shopping center with other restaurants and businesses, the parking here can be really tough and you'll find yourself having to walk a bit to get into the building. It is one of the smaller Panera Breads around, so there isn't a lot of room to wait in line and wait for your food. Overall, it's your standard Panera Bread, but a welcomed establishment in the area. The food is good and the staff is friendly and whether or not I am grabbing lunch to take back to the office or just grabbing some dinner on the way home, I've never had a bad experience and the staff has always been friendly. read more

I would give zero stars if i could. My girlfriend and I entered yesterday to grab a quick bite. Without even a greeting the girl at the counter asked if we were paying cash or card. Since we were paying card we were told to go to a kiosk. The kiosk itself was fine. We made our meals and waited. My steak and cheese was incorrect as it was missing spinach. Rather than wait longer i just decided eat it. My girlfriends order of a soup and sandwich was met with "you didnt order soup try again" although her receipt clearly said tomato soup. About 10 minutes after eating my girlfriend had a bad stomach cramp and I was nauseous last night and today. Bad customer service all around. Wont be going here ever again. read more

Can I give 0 stars! My step-mother just ordered a grilled cheese sandwich and after munching on the first half, said t wasn't all that good. After biting into the second half she realized there was still plastic on the cheese! She bit into the plastic and left teeth marks. The plastic was melty and left a funny taste in her mouth. She ended up getting her $6 back but never spoke to a manager and no one ever apologized for the blunder. Nasty.....if this gross mishandling of food happens and is then served to customers, I don't even want to know what goes on behind the counters and during food prep. * Review based on when I used to live in the area and frequent the place a lot (when it was new)... same review found in other Paneras I've been to* I've always been intrigued by this chain. The amount of people that frequent this place makes it one of the most packed "fast food" restaurants that I can think of (in a good way). Bad times to go: Between 11:30am and 2pm, Monday thru Friday, give or take an hour closer to the afternoon lunch rush (12-1:30). Mid-late afternoon calms down, and sometimes picks up around 5-6 in the evening, as people stop in to pick pastries or breads up for the next day. With that being said, they offer free wifi, but limit you to an hour, as the lunch time rush needs the table space (not so much loitering if you are eating and checking mail, but there IS a time clock running once you log on). Before or after the rush, you are free to sit as long as you please. All their food, including bakery items are made in house and are quite lovely. Must try the tomato and basil bread.. one of my all time faves. Too bad the loaf is a little pricey, or I'd be making the trip over to the location on a weekly basis. But it is a good treat when I can get it. It's not too powerful in the seasoning department, nor is the taste all tomato. There's a good and happy medium in the flavours and the bread is crispy crust and airy / fluffy all inwards. This is the third time I have had nasty-textured chunky mac & cheese from this location. Its not smooth like the panera mac & cheese everyone loves. The cheese sauce is solid, chalky and chunky.
