We asked to exchange the soup for a different item and management was rude and acted like we had committed a crime. I went to Panera for breakfast on Tuesday and it had no eggs for any of the egg sandwiches, which is most of the breakfast sandwiches. I ordered a ham and cheese sandwich on ciabatta, minus the egg since they had none. I got two tiny thin slices of ham, a thin cheese spread and bread. They charged me full price even though the main part of the sandwich was missing. They did not even add more meat and cheese to fill in. $7.00+ for 2 slices of bread basically. My mom and I were having a rough time, just left a funeral from a loved one. I think the manager could tell we were a little disoriented and after we finally placed our order she gave us our food for free. Worst Panera experience EVER!!!! Nothing was enjoyable! Me and my friend Nelson went through the driveway together after a long day of shopping and we were quite hungry. We went up to the speaker and had to wait to even place an order. Once we pulled around, we first received our drinks. We ordered two lemonades, and they were the worst things either of us had either tasted. We have had the lemonades before, so it is not an issue regarding the recipe. The container must have not been cleaned in several weeks, because it tasted somewhere between fermented and just straight up dirty. We immediately poured them out and had to buy drinks elsewhere. I ordered a soup and a sandwich. I got the crabs berry chicken salad sandwich and it was horrible as well. There was too much tomato, the bread felt as though it was barely cooked, and there was hardly any actually chicken salad on it. I also ordered the chicken noodle soup, and it was bad as well. The broth itself tasted only like carrots, and there was hardly any flavor other than that. The soup itself was also dangerously hot. It was unable to be eaten for several minutes. My friend Nelson ordered the mac and cheese, which he reported to be not good and sort of cold. Eve the bread was bad. It felt basically raw and the outer edge could hardly be called crust, as it was just as soft as the rest of the bread. I would never subject any one to an experience like this. Off the game today! Understandable being the holidays and some supply shortages. So I'm not sure much of this is the Panera's fault, but they were out of chicken, some kinds of bread, and only had medium-sized soda cups. It sort of felt like they were hoping we'd forget that we ordered a fountain drink with our to-go order because I had to track down someone to ask for it and she sheepishly asked if a medium was okay- I don't know what size my husband ordered- because they didn't have many cups. My First visit to this place (from Texas) and the Dine-In was closed. No problem, so I went to the Drive-Thru and was told to hold to place my order and LITERALLY waited 9 minutes when I decided to see if anybody was there because the cars behind me were going around me to the window. I tried explaining this to the girl on the speaker and then a male voice told me that I could just leave. He said to take my business elsewhere and when I asked for his name, he said it was none of my business. Not being "biased", I was only trying to explain the situation to them (the cars going around) and believe it was taken the wrong way. This panera bread is centrally located near a lot of eateries. I was on my way to Kentucky for some army training I said I would not stop until I was exactly 3 1/2 hours into the trip when I saw the sign for Panera bread I actually got really excited I am a huge put NARA bread fan always have been why? Well because when you deal with chain restaurants you have to stick to what you know. Luckily for Panera bread and me you have several items to choose from that are relatively healthy my absolute favorite is the chicken salad sandwich. I order it every time I go! The chicken noodle soup is really good too. The chicken Cesar salad is really great as well however it's always a good idea to tell them to get the dressing on the side because they tend to overdo it. I also like the options you get when you order a meal from Mira bread and a side baguette or Apple or a bag of chips are usually opt for the Apple but since I was committing carb a side I decided to eat the chips they tasted pretty well I have been to this location twice once on my way to Kentucky and the second time on my way back and each time the service was very fast and the staff was super super friendly in fact this will be where I stop when ever I have to go to Kentucky. Did I mention that the NARA bread always has the raspberry ice tea brisk I am not sure if I am saying that right but it is one of my favorite guilty pleasure drinks I love the raspberry brisk tea and whenever I go to Panera bread I always look forward to having it read more

Me and my wife decided to stop and try this for the first time due to its proximity to the Walmart academy. Great food, at a very reasonable cost. We were both satisfied with the amount of food received in relation to price. I ordered a chicken noodle soup bread bowl and my wife ordered a chicken wild rice soup bowl which she highly enjoyed. The soups were hot enough to eat but not hot enough to burn you and were very filling. I would recommend this establishment highly. I've been to my share of Panera Breads from Los Angeles, so I know that it shouldn't be this bad. We got the pick 2 deal. Half of each item you pick, while I've been before, I haven't seen this deal before, so me and my Boyfriend were just a little confused and asked the guy at the counter about it, he confused me further and even told us it's confusing for him. I know it's easy for others to get, but pricing wise it's a bit odd. As my boyfriend purchased the chicken tortellini alfredo pasta thinking it shared the same deal. Nope, it didn't.. and when ordering at the counter the guy didn't tell us it would be a lot more expensive.. $5 more expensive. I was pressured to hurry up my decisions by the guy, so I messed up on what I wanted, which was irritating. ==; when my boyfriend went to ask about the pricing because it was very high for what we ordered.. the man didn't apologize or say a thing to him when my boyfriend said that's pretty misleading on the menu... My food was ok, (small portions for the price really) but my boyfriends tortellini chicken was anything but good, in fact it was raw in some pieces. And it didn't taste all that great. I highly discourage anyone from using their catering services. The staff is rude and uncaring and the food is extremely overpriced for the quality. I placed a catering order to be delivered to a specific unit at Cabell Huntington hospital and it did not arrive to the right place. When I called to work it out with the catering manager she was extremely rude and said it wasn't her fault and couldn't do anything about the incorrect delivery. Eventually the food was found after sitting out in the wrong area for over 3 hours making the yogurt and cream cheese inedible and the coffee cold. I'm very disappointed in their service. read more

We have stopped at this location twice on our way to Kentucky and both times have been okay-ish. We got the steak and cheese panini and both times after we ordered we were told they were out of the panini bread. My Greek salad came with no dressing on it the first time and the second time it contained many different ingredients that had fallen in like strawberries, tomatoes (which I am allergic to and had omitted) and pieces of what I assumed were some sort of meat. The lack of bagels and sweets were also surprising, there were maybe a handful of bagels and some cookies. Not terrible, but definitely not one of the better Panera's I have been to. read more

This location was the most sub-par one I have been to. I will say it is clean and it wasn't busy- although I did not go at a peak time. I ordered a Greek salad and instead of the normal red onion that comes in the salad, I received pickeled beats which was very strange. I ordered a super fruit smoothie and it did not taste like the ones I have received from other locations. They also did not have the tracking system, only beepers and so you had to pick up your own order, instead of being served. )I know-first world probs!) we stopped here to catch a quick lunch during our road trip and it was the first time i've tried their mediterranean salmon salad: cuts of romaine lettuce, feta cheese chunks, mandarin orange slices, pitted kalamata olives and a whopping piece of salmon on top. i got the 'you pick 2' option: getting 1/2 order of the salad and it was still a large bowl of goodness. i'm whimsically linking my fingers (in my mind) as i think about that ridiculously good salad. only ONE issue with this location: all other PB locations ask if you would like a baguette, apple or chips as a side. this place didn't ask that (i should've remembered to ask at the register, but i was STARVING!) and maybe they should start: not everyone wants a baguette with their order so it would be best not to make such assumptions. read more

This Panera is very disorganized. Not only have I been to many Panera's but I've actually worked at one and this one was by far the worst experience I had. To start with we walked in for breakfast for here and it took them about five minutes to even take our order even though there was about 10 people working there. The girl who took our order seemed new which I understand and she was nice but it didn't seem like she knew what she was doing. Especially when she didn't know which cups to give us and she didn't give us any of the bakery items we ordered I knew she didn't really know what she was doing. I also ordered a frozen Carmel which I have never had a bad one except this one I think she forgot to put the Carmel in it. When I picked up the drink the lady asked if we had got our bakery items and I told her no, my dad got a toasted bagel and I got a soufflé and they didn't toast his bagel. The bathrooms were gross. But at least the people were nice. Just have somebody train new people and that would fix most their problems. read more

Stopped at Panera our way back to Virginia, I eat at Panera probably 2-3 times a month and I am ways pleased with the cleanliness, service, and food. This location by far was the worst I have ever been to. Before I ever got to the door to enter I see a swarm of yellow jackets around the overflowing trash can next to their patio seating. I'm talking a full swarm. There is no way someone could use the seating outside. I then open the front door where the smell of stale mop/mop water smacks me in the face. I placed my order to go and went to the rest room which was far from the clean restrooms I have been to in the past at other Panera locations. It looked as if the floor hadn't been moped or swept in months & the toilet seat looked like it had been mauled by a bear, but no seriously, even a Brillo pad couldn't have scratched it up that badly, it was gross. As for the food, my ham sandwich was fine and my French onion soup while greasy was good. Had I not had an insatiable pregnancy craving I would have just left, they definitely could use a good cleaning, exterminator, or simply employ someone to take out the trash, and a how to guide from other locations on the amount of oil used in the soup! One star because you can't screw up a ham sandwich and the other because of my love for most Panera locations. read more
