We appreciated that when installation day came, he swung by to ensure all was going well. Oh, how did the installation go? It was fantastic. Not only did the windows and door come earlier than promised, the American Windows crew came on time and worked quickly and professionally. We were amazed that the whole job only took 4 1/2 hours to complete. The windows and door materials are high quality and we are very satisfied with the results.

He gave us repair ideas, explained potential causes, pointed us toward the right tools, and gave us contacts who could help. I was having an inner slider removed as well as the outer slider replaced and wasn't expecting any door company to do any of the trim/painting after removal. I had had multiple quotes his came within range of the others (better than most of them) but with a fiberglass door instead of vinyl which from what I could research is a better material. Because of COVID-19 the wait was 10 weeks out and the install was done within the time he quoted. The install men came on the day promised and were polite. They replaced the outside door, removed the inside door, and installed and painted trim. It looked so good I handed the guy the second check before he handed me the keys for the outside (now only) slider. The only thing I am a little iffy on is if the new Marvin door will last. It was immediately after installation allowing water into the inner sill for a stationary piece of the slider through a hole between the moving door piece's base/sill (it seemed to be a manufacturing defect?). The company did respond promptly and fixed that issue, but I'm not sure it will be a permanent solution.

None of them impressed me until Greg from Windows on Washington came over. He walked me through several options and explained how the windows they used were manufactured and why. Windows on Washington got the job. My windows and my doors were being manufactured. So they sent out a wonderful gentleman to get the final accurate measurements. Great guy. After that, communication was wonderful as were were assessed of the stage we were in. This included when we got the email and calls explaining that, since we were on a higher floor, they needed to bring in some equipment to lift the new doors up to our balcony. No surprises. Installation day was amazing as Joon and his team came in, got everything into place, and cleaned up the areas to better than when they got here. Joon then went over the features on our windows and even explained how we get to and clean the outsides of the glass. Wonderful man and amazing team. Since then, we have gotten copies of our warranty and the guarantees. And the company has reached out twice to ask if we have any questions and to ensure that we are happy with our windows. We are. RESPONSIVENESS - very fast, very responsive, very professional. A tad too frequent, but apparently roof repair is a competitive business. INSPECTION - scheduled and conducted efficiently; exceptionally thorough inspection report (David). COST - in line with all other quotes, which are apparently driven by the insurance estimate. Green Oak differentiation included owner interaction, master roofer certification, 5 star rating, excellent warranty, professional documentation and workflow management. WORK - scheduled efficiently, material arrived on time the day before, crew arrived on time the day of, work was conscientious and completed in 3/4 day (townhome), clean-up (including loose nail hunt) was impressively thorough. AFTER - received certificate of completion in a timely manner, along with photo record of repaired roof. Not being a roofer, it's difficult to assess the integrity of the new roof & shingles, however the end result appears clean and professional. Suspect the new, high-quality roof will increase the townhome value and/or decrease time to sell based on the high-quality products used and overall curb appeal of the work. Their technician replaced this spring with the same type (250 lb. x 32 spring), but he indicated that given the weight of the wooden door, a heavier spring should have been installed back in 2022.
