My hubby gave me a moments snake chain bracelet for my birthday. I thought I wanted this but after having it, I hate it! I have very small wrists and the loose chain hanging down gets in the way. There is evidently no way to alter it? I also hate the way you have to pinch the tiny mechanism on the end to add or remove a charm. Went in today 5/1/24 around 1pm with a photo of a ring I wanted to try on and girl showed me something similar and said it was the one I asked for, not thrilled with it I gave it back and asked if she could clean the pandora ring I wear every single day. She begrudgingly said ok. While waiting I showed the other worker the ring I was looking for and she said oh yeah we have that she showed you the wrong one. She showed me the ring and the first girl returned after maybe 3 minutes in the back and handed back my uncleaned ring. I really liked the new ring but since these two employees could not be bothered with customer service I went online and ordered. The service is terrible! I came in for an anniversary present with my husband and picked out a really nice ring. Within 3 weeks, the gold chipped off exposing the copper interior and it looked awful. I brought it back to exchange since it was under warranty and the manager was SO unbelievably rude. She lied and told me that the ring was discontinued so I had to pick something else that I really didn't like and ended up returning it within a week because it huge and uncomfortable for daily wear. The website still has the original ring I wanted for sale and the same ring is still in the shop for sale but she said again that it was discontinued. So why TF is it on display??!?! I would have bought it again. I was so upset. So I got the cheapest piece of crap ring since they refused to refund me my money and the only size they had was too small. They told me I could come in to get it resized in a few weeks. This was on December 4. Today is December 30th. I wore the ring a total of 4 times, gently, cuz I couldn't get it on my finger. And the manager said the ring was damaged beyond repair and she couldn't exchange, resize or refund me my money. The ring was BRAND NEW. I immediately called their corporate office while she was standing there glaring at me. They sent me an email and sent me the right size ring(the original one I wanted) plus a $50 gift card for the trouble. Fuck this place. I'm not even going to use the gift card. It's all trash. But It isn't the sales people's fault, they were very kind and patient to me. It's that bitchy manager that needs to wake up and realize that she should have a positive attitude and demeanor to get repeat customers. I'm telling every single person I know to avoid pandora. I hate leaving bad reviews so I need to be extremely underwhelmed to leave one. This Pandora store is the worst I've been to. I went to this store on 6/3/24 to buy the Lion King ring for my daughter. We knew exactly what we wanted so it would have been a 5 minute transaction. My daughter, my best friend, and I stood at the counter for almost 15 minutes with no one even speaking to us. Two sales associates were clearly trying to go on break but they walked by us 5 or 6 times and very obviously avoided eye contact so they wouldn't have to help us, never said hello or "someone will be with you shortly". The other two were helping customers.....again, no hello....no we'll be right with you. I understand you are helping other indecisive customers but shouldn't you acknowledge customers that are waiting? The pierced blond girl literally stood right next to us and made no eye contact nor did she speak to us. We finally left because we had a dinner reservation. We were going to go back after dinner but I could not bring myself to patronize a place with such horrible customer service. Pandora in Portland needs to improve greatly. read more

I am constantly amazed at the friendly customer service that I get from this store. Perhaps its because I walk in with a smile on my face. Perhaps its just that I'm in a good mood when I get to buy something. Or perhaps, and more likely, that the store is well managed and the service reps just love doing their jobs! The store is organized, the staff is knowledgeable and I really appreciate knowing what the promotions are without having to pull teeth. Zero stars! The staff at this store is a joke at best. My wife and I went there to buy a bracelet. We entered the store and started looking around. We were not acknowledged or greeted by any of the three employees. When we finally asked for help, we were told that they were closed. (It was 7:50pm and they show 10pm close time). Then, we were questioned how we got into the store! even though the door was open and the store is the size of a matchbox. Apparently you need to be escorted inside, but there is no sign indicating that. The amazing thing is, they had locked the doors behind us after we entered. So, I assume they were going to close up and just leave us in the store over night?. It was the most incompetent interaction I have ever had. It was like we were invisible. The 3 employees were completely useless and had no desire to help, or even be there. I'm stopping short of calling this interaction racist. My husband and I came in last week and we bought a charm bracelet and a very adorable charm on it for our niece who is starting kindergarten. We had been thinking for a while of what to get her and I had a customer at my job who recommended pandora charm bracelets. I didn't have a pleasant experience... yes we were greeted as soon as we walked in but I believe that was because I walked up to the employee in the store and didn't exactly give her an option of ignoring me. The entire time I felt like I would being looked down on, talked down to like I was irrelevant. I was wearing sweats since I just got off work and that was the only day me and my husband could both come in together around our work schedules. This store is very nice, very reasonably priced jewelry but I wasn't happy with my customer service. I would usually give one , maybe two stars because of the service I was given but I chose to give this review 3 stars because I am truly happy with the purchase we made. I had walked over to the side where there are different bracelet options and when I found one I LOVED and asked the employee how much that one was she said "you want to give a 5 year old BLING"... ? First off you don't know what bling is. It was a HEART as the clasp. And she called it bling... even if it was bling how are you to judge someone for their style preference. I just felt like I wasn't wanted in this store but I will be back since this is where we'll have to come get additional charms to add to this bracelet. Telling me things I need to do in order for it not to happen again. She was rude and disrespectful. Decided to start my mom a charm bracelet and I went to the best place possible! I worked with a lovely brunette lady who was very helpful, insightful and knowledgeable. She wasn't too pushy and encouraged me to take my time which was nice. In all of my experiences shopping, the service reps have always been pushy and come across annoyed that I am taking my time, but this was not the case here. She informed me of the store credit card which has amazing perks and you get 10% off of your first purchase when using the card so I decided to open one! The process was quick and painless. I've never been to pandora, except for the tiny section in Disney world. The line here was very long but I didn't wait longer than 3 minutes. We were helped by kai, very exuberant and informative. I had told him what I was thinking of and he grabbed it right away! He assured me on how the ring is supposed to fit and how to care for it. Very straight forward and to the point. Ok I feel bad for leaving one star because the older female employee who helped us was very friendly. BUT there is one employee, Asian dude with "Kai" on his nametag, who was barking at everyone to move along. Throughout our visit he was passive aggressive, rude, and totally unprofessional to us and to other patrons. He was telling a customer and her friend that he could only help in the next couple minutes because there might be a line of people. "Well, if you know what you want, I can help you now I guess but I can't stand with you forever because there might be a line." Mind you there was no line and he was clearly raising his voice as the rest of the employees looked up to see what the problem was. All this Kai guy wanted was to move people along even at the expense of the customer experience. He even shoo'ed me and my family away from the counter and tried to herd us like cattle. I had the worst experience at the Pandora store inside Washington square today. I've bought many items from that store and always received very good CS until today. I realised it's during their busy promotion period so they were very busy as I walked in. The person who helped me was their store manager. I have 10 items for a friend I'm buying for and there's 1 item they didn't have in the store. I was told thy can not order it for me as the store and online are separate entities (in the past when this happened CS was always able to do so for me to help to get the best promotional discount). I asked her can I just buy (pay for) all the 10 items here and have they shipped the one missing item to the store to qualify for the promotion. She proceeded to tell me no and I had to pick and choose as " you can't get the best of both worlds" in a very condescending tone. I was stunned. First of all, there was no need to talk to a customer like that, ever. Especially I was calm and polite. Secondly, she could have just suggested me ordering everything online if i want to fulfil the total cost for the promotion discount (but then I guess she won't be be getting any commission that way). Anyway the whole experience made me feel uncomfortable and weird. I did not enjoy my time there and I hated the way I was treated. Pandora, please do better CS training even with your store manager as they are suppose to set an example to the other SAs in there. This is the WORST shop ever! I love the jewelry but the staff suck. I came in to return a charm (my husband bought the wrong type online) that my husband bought me for Christmas. I tried making the return on Jan 10. I waited in the shop for 20 minutes. They are helping other customers, but it took 15 minutes for anyone even to acknowledge that I was there. When someone finally helped me, she said it was not returnable due to the 30 day return policy. I left frustrated with the charm but didn't make a scene. When I got home, I checked the return policy, and online it says that they take Christmas returns until January 17. So, I went back today-Jan 15-with a print out of the Christmas return policy. It took 10 minutes for one sales person to check with the other just to tell me (again!) that they don't take returns after 30 days. When I showed her the print out, it had cut off the date, so she made me pull up the policy on my phone-because she didn't believe me. UGH! I finally found it online, she read it and passed it back and forth to the manager to verify the validity. Which was RIDICULOUS because it was their own website! She finally took the jewelry back, but a transaction that should have taken 5 minutes took 30. I will NEVER go back to the Washington Square Pandora store. read more

Worst customer service I have ever received. Store employees were condescending and did not understand how to do basic functions. Asked for a manager and they disappeared to the back to call the manager and I was not allowed to speak directly to anyone in charge. They could see my account and how many thousands of dollars I have spent there yet still refused to allow a exchange on a ring simply for a different size as I had no receipt with me. I called my boyfriend who emailed me a copy of the receipt. They then refused to refund the tax that he paid due to his purchase being in Washington. I asked again for them to contact the manager if they could not understand that tax is normally refunded as it was on the original receipt. I was told the manager was not reachable and did I want to wait for her to call back. I said yes and the girl who was helping disappeared again into the back room. Another employee came up and suggested that my waiting was making everyone uncomfortable and that I should leave! I'm very disappointed as I have many many charms with happy memories that have marked important dates in my life, But I will never shop at Pandora again and will encourage others to avoid this business due to the extremely inept and rude employees at the Washington Square store. read more
