The store was just an OK for me. Many of the areas I shopped were messy, had sale signs on the floor. When checking out there was no staff. Every checkout was self and long. I probably would give them another shot but no rush.

For the amount they're charging for stuff now, I don't think I should have to pay for clothes that smell that way. I decided not to get anything from the clothing section. Had difficulty finding the other things I needed, but eventually found them. The signs overhead weren't quite in line with the products. Couldn't get anyone's attention to get some help. They seemed to busy worrying about who was going on break and what needed to be put on what shelf in whatever area. I think Target is trying to focus more on trying to get people to order online than help people in the store.

I see Memes about the lack of registers and the way things are piled on the shelves. Of course what are you going to expect when you come in here?! ... The lines were tremendously long but I did overhear several customer service managers talking about how they had about 10 people call out of work. So obviously they're short staffed the day I went... it was frustrating standing in such a long line for a long period of time but if they're short staffed there's nothing they can really do. (I would consider hiring more dependable people of course!) The place is a mess, but if you also look at it a lot of customers will throw random stuff on shelves that they don't want anymore because they don't want to walk all the way back to the department they got them from and put it back where it belongs. I did see people and departments working hard to stock shelves, and keep their area clean. The only thing that truly frustrated me was when I went to layaway to pay off my layaway items the manager (It's what her tag stated!!) rolled her eyes, and complained to another associate next to her but she didn't feel like going out to get the layaway items but she would be back. Sorry I made you get my layaway items that I paid for that probably went towards YOUR paycheck so you can buy things you want/need. I'm sure she got stuck being over there because maybe somebody called out, but if you don't like doing that job then maybe quit and go somewhere else that you would like.

Your name is displayed on a screen which will say if your prescription is ready or in progress which is helpful. The staff was courteous and efficient. The store itself was welcoming, very neat, and spacious. I did find out this Walgreens has a drive thru even though it seemed hidden. They were listed as a local merchant who sells local artist Lori Mitchell's twiggy figurines in Richmond magazine last fall, and that lured her in. She spent way too long deciding between the figurines, so I looked around in the shop while she stared at them. They stock lots of eclectic, unique home decor items, so if you're looking for a special pillow or fabric or random glass ball -- and have the means -- this is a good option to check out. The folks who work here are really nice too. They chatted with us about the twig collection (apologies if the figurines have a real name that I'm omitting) and mentioned that Lori had had an event there in the recent past.
