I believe in any business the person that makes contact with the customer should have a friendly personality. You will not find it here. So you get past ordering and the food was fair. General Tso not spicy and some of the chicken was tuff if that makes any sense. The rice was OK. I can't rave about the food . It's easier to run up to Jumbo China if you are craving good Chinese food. They will have to get their stuff together or it won't last. DH and I stopped by one afternoon and were surprised at how good the food was in this little place next to a grocery store. He ordered Hunan Chicken and thought it was *almost* as good as his fave Asian restaurant in PA. I thoroughly enjoyed the SIngapore Mai Fun-- great curry flavor, rice noodles not mushy, and more shrimp that I am used to getting at this particular dish elsewhere. Service was good, and the waitstaff was attentive and friendly at 2:30 on a weekday afternoon. Hopefully, some day we will be in the area again and instead of wondering where the heck we will get a decent lunch, we will go directly to Panda Tokyo. read more

Giving this place 1 star is being super nice. If I could give them a -5 I would. First let me say, their customer service does not exist. The waitress/counter lady was super rude and even tried to argue with me after she gave me pork dumplings when I ordered vegetable dumplings( I'm a vegan!) So, when we first arrived it looked like a typical Chinese restaurant. From what they advertised, I was thinking that it would look more like a Japanese restaurant. There was a small space that resembled a Japanese restaurant but it was quite shabby and dated. Then we were seated it took the waitress/counter lady 20 minutes just to give us a menu. It was completely DEAD in there. That should have been our cue to leave. We ordered the general tsos bean curd, 2 vegetable rolls and yasai gyoza(vegetable dumplings) I made sure to let her know that we eat NO MEAT! I said it a couple times since having issues in the past with other Chinese restaurants. When she came back, she had the dumplings in hand. I took one and bite into it and immediately spit it out. IT WAS PORK! I almost vomited right there. I told her to take it away and she started arguing with me and stated that "They pay for the meat!" I just looked at her like, are you freaking kidding me! She made the mistake even when I ensured that I let her know that we didn't eat meat. I was appalled. The bean curd was THE WORST thing I ever even attempted to eat in my life. It looked sick. Almost like blocks of soap stone with sauce on them. They were hard and tasteless, kind of the taste and consistency of shredded tree bark. We ate our vegetable rolls, paid and got the hell out of there. I will NEVER go there again. Needless to say, I am now hesitant with patronizing any local places in Laurel, DE. Ill just go to Salisbury next time for any meals I eat while in Delaware. read more

My past few visits here have been disappointing considering how much I enjoy the food. Each of the last two times, we've had to wait at least 20 minutes to receive our check after we finished the meal. My wife and I were never offered refills on our drinks each of those times, too. I'm considering eliminating the dine-in experience altogether and simply ordering take-out, which would be a disappoint to me. read more

I have been coming to this place since its grand opening. The service is sometimes lacking but the sushi is delicious and makes up for the services issues in my opinion. The yum yum roll is one of my personal favorites and sometimes they feature some really great chef's special rolls. read more

We ate here last night and had the leftovers for lunch today. Tso chicken, sweet and sour soup, won ton soup, chicken lo mein, crispy shrimp in coconut sauce it all was very good. Leftovers were still good. read more

A 1 Star rating is extremely generous for this place. Im from NJ & am visiting family. Im a vegan & wanted to find a nice place to sit down & eat. I read the reviews & figured me & my husband would give it a try. We ordered bean curd with general t'so sauce, 2 vegetable rolls & vegetable dumplings. The bean curd was the consistency of a soggy shoe box but the vegetable rolls were good. They gave me the wrong dumplings-pork!! I bit into it and immediately spit it out into a napkin. The waitress saw me & I told her she gave us the wrong item. She was rude & tried to argue that was what id oredered. She even brought out the menu at which point was great so I could educate her. I clearly stated "yasai gyoza" which means vegetable dumpling"in Japanese. She continued to argue & I was just over it. She messed up, was rude tgen stated that "the meat costs.her money!" I was done. We paid & left. There was also also a lot of flies. I guess this is normal for locals. No thank u. I Will never patron another establishment in that entire town. My husband and I ordered for pick up. I ordered two types of sushi one order for my daughter and one for myself, they put the raw fish with the california in one pkg. and only allowed for enough ginger & wasabi for one order. The filling in the wonton soup and fried wontons left us wondering what had been killed for it. The wontons were cold, over-cooked, greasy around what ever was inside and tough.
