Working in the hotel industry, I must say that I have ate almost everything on the menu. The staff is courteous and the food is good.

    Chinese donuts (10)

The Chinese donuts and orange chicken was really good. The restaurant itself is actually clean in the lobby area. The service was pretty decent, but the menu says that with the lunch deal you can choose either can soda, egg rolls, or one of the soups. I chose the can soda but she gave me egg rolls and told me that I have to get over $30 to get a can soda for free even though I showed her THEIR menu that said you can choose a can soda over egg rolls. I asked can I exchange the egg rolls for the soda and she told me when I buy over $30 which in my mind, don't put false advertisement on the menu if you aren't going to honor it. The honey chicken is not that good in my opinion. Mainly because when I tried to chew it, I really couldn't. But overall it's decent, but not my first choice.

I love it here!! Their food is so affordable, and it hits the spot after a long day in classes!!

Bean curd with Sichuan sauce and Hunan beef

We passed this place many times, wonder if they have good food. Coz the place never looked busy. So tonight, we decided to try their food. We ordered vegetables fried rice, broccoli with garlic sauce, bean curd with Sichuan sauce, and Hunan beef... it was taking about 15 minutes waiting time for food being cooked. They packed the food for take out even we already told them that we're going to dine in... so, we just opened the boxes and ate them in their cold dining room. Don't feel any heater on. The food were good... much better than Chinese Buffet Restaurant. We will return and try others on their menu for sure... Ow, I gave them 3 stars just because this was first time. I will update this review soon.

No heat here for some reason.

There are much better places to get Chinese food in Hburg like the Asian Market by Winn Dixie and Michael's, or A&B, or one of the buffets.

There are absolutely no shortages of places to eat in Hattiesburg. Some visiting might lean towards safe places with menu items they feel secure and safe with, and there's nothing wrong with that. But, if that's you you're missing out on some amazing food. Today I took my wife for mother's day as they had some special items on their menu, while also keeping their regular menu available. We started with their standard dumpling appetizer. We get it everytime we eat there and they're delicious every time. The meals we picked were the the kimchi cabanara and the shrimp and grits. Both on their special mother's day menu. Both were absolutely delicious with fresh ingrediants, balanced seasonings and amazing flavors. I'm Italian and grew up eating traditional family Sunday dinners but this bowl of pasta was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere of the place is very modern with a combination of traditional asian features mixed with some modern MTV inspired artwork. If you're into craft cocktails they got you covered as well. The only miss we had to day was our server never came back to take our dessert order, when we asked to order it he confused what we said for the bill and brought that instead. Not a deal breaker, we were actually too full for it anyway and we've had their desserts before. They always inventive and delicious. At the end of the day, one small service hiccup wasn't enough to overshadow what was an outstanding meal and experience. In a city packed with chain restaurants and predictable menus, places like this are what make Hattiesburg's food scene worth exploring. If you're willing to step outside your comfort zone a little, you'll be rewarded with creative dishes, quality ingredients, and flavors you'll still be thinking about on the drive home. We'll absolutely be back.

I came to Big Trouble excited for some ramen and left with a bowl that mostly tasted…read morelike...confusion. I ordered the Spicy Chicken Katsu Ramen, and unfortunately the "spicy" part must have taken the day off. The chicken katsu itself had less flavor than most fast-food chicken patties, which is a tough comparison to lose when you're floating in a $20 bowl of ramen. The broth seemed to rely almost entirely on the chili oil for personality, but instead of bringing heat, it mostly just gave the broth a slightly odd flavor. Not spicy, not rich--just kind of...there. Oddly enough, the noodles ended up being the most flavorful thing in the bowl (aside from the egg), which is not exactly the headline you want for ramen. Now the bright spot: my server, Eden. Absolute 5-star service. Friendly, attentive, and the kind of server that makes you feel welcome even when your meal is slowly disappointing you. If this review were based on service and ambiance alone, I would be handing out 5 stars. Honestly, I've had instant ramen packets that cost about $0.25 deliver more flavor. The only reason I finished most of bowl was because once you paid $20 for plain noodles, and gave up your only time to get food, there's a certain stubborn determination to see it through.
