Seated promptly, server came quickly, waited to give us time to decide, and was very friendly. We were pleasantly surprised at the prices, they have not followed the trend of large increases. We chose the family special, an offering with soup, appetizers, and choice of entrees, a package for two. Everything was great. The portions are large, we took food home. A couple of dine-in options plus a Caribou and a nice gift shop. Unfortunately that alone did not get us through and hence the very mid rating. We stayed in a non-smoking room, which smelled of smoke on the first floor. The bedding has the most uncomfortable mattress and pillows around where everyone in our party was complaining about their backs and necks after a 2 night stay. The shower pressure was non-existent and water temp. was lukewarm. Pro tip: There are literal kids working at the 'deck' which is the fast food option within the hotel, overcharged on the first occasion and then the next day, totally fussed our order, so do make sure to check your receipt and hold onto it, as that came handy for us on both occasions.

Service: We went during the afternoon on a Sunday. We were quickly seated by the waitress. We were quickly given our drinks. They have Pepsi products. The waitress kept our drinks refilled and checked in often. I was further impressed by the staff knowing regular patrons by name. The waitress greeted people of diverse backgrounds warmly. This is not common in most Chinese establishments. This is a gem! I was further impressed by the waitresses speaking Spanish and other languages. Just wow!! The buffet: I was impressed the warm plates and bowls. The plates were placed under the buffet. This one action prevents airborne contamination. I loved this! I have never seen this since elsewhere. This should be a requirement for all buffets. The food temperatures were hot! I wouldn't worry about this place when it comes to getting sick. I am a neat freak.
