This is one of my favorite Chinese places. Majority of the time, the food is delicious. In the past, I noticed that sometimes the veggies in my fried rice would be hard and uncooked, like peas and carrots or even the rice. They've had some misses, but what I have noticed is that they have improved significantly. For starters, the grease they fry chicken wings in has been fresh ( I should not be eating fried foods, but I love some wings from here). Also, the rice is cooked perfectly and fresh, and so has the veggies in my fried rice. They also know how to cook the chicken without me being specific. My go-to's are Kung pao chicken, chicken wings, and veggie fried rice w bean sprouts or w plantains (hopefully they are mung bean sprouts. I never ask, but that's important to me. I also would ask for eggs in my rice as they used to automatically be put in your rice back in the day. If requested, rest assured that the sprouts and eggs are an additional cost. I also have been asking for them to make the rice spicy (not sure if this is an upcharge, but will ask)), szechauan beef, beef chop suey, beef and mushrooms ( the beef is tender and taste delicious), boneless spare rib tips, beef lo mein (recently tried) delicious. The food is always piping hot. The owner is always pleasant, and so are her sons when they ring me up to pay. I noticed they have changed their hours and are now closed on Monday's. I also noticed that prices have gone up, which is another reason we don't frequently visit. Not because it's becoming expensive, but everything is now a day. I'm just cooking more at home and eating out less. It's a dine out location only. The kitchen, as someone else mentioned, is always clean. Give them a try! Lunch special doesn't come with eggroll or drink anymore ....They lie about the prices and their menu has been wrong for the past year

Another try to find the best Chinese Whole in the Wall in town, so far we have not found the place... if it does exist in BPT. Most restaurants are so familiar, with the printed menu's and the pictures of their dishes. It almost seems that they are all related in some kind of way. Panda Garden has however so far the best Cream Cheese Wonton, they are generously filled and perfectly baked. The fried rice was great of taste but we missed the vegetables. Maybe it was a mistake, but they were missed. The fried chicken and the rib tips were good, but all the places make these items in a similar way. Panda Garden is however the cleanest 'Whole in the Wall.' Definitely a place to return to and try some more of their menu. read more

Pretty standard, prices are lower than my normal place. The Boneless BBQ Ribs were not as tender. The sauce was good but I've had better. I liked the rice a lot and the chicken wings were seasoned well. As for the donuts....its basically pillsbury biscuits fried and covered in sugar...wasn't a fan but they were ok. I guess I'd order here again if in the area. Still looking for a Chinese restaurant that has sweet plantains. read more

I'm very unhappy with my purchase from this business. The chicken tasted like it was old and refried in old dirty oil. The shrimp in my rice was so transparent and raw it cld have gotten up and walked away. I asked for peas and carrots in my rice as well, and you had to go on a scavenger hunt for just one pea! This food was completely inedible! I felt my order was intentionally poorly prepared because I asked to speak with the woman who usually answers the phone, because she speaks English very well and I had a lot of specifics in my order. I assume this was taken offensively. My order came to almost $40 and we tipped the delivery man as well... who by the way, will ASK for a tip if one is not offered. I will NOT order here again. I have ordered food from here once a week for the past 2 months. Today the general tso chicken tasted like old fishy oil and I called back after eating one piece to ask for a refund. I was cursed at on the phone and went back to talk to the manager and they offered me more food cooked in the same months old oil and then called the police after I said I didn't want any more food and just wanted my money back. be careful when you order here They will charge your card no matter what 8 dollars minimum. Even if you have a lunch order of 5.00 and they expect a tip on top of that. When I spoke to the Manager they stated that it does not Matter we charge 8 dollars. That is AGAINST THE LAW! ITS CALLED : - PRICE GOUGING! When i called in to explain the issue and ask for a refund for just the rice and ribs the manager was so rude and then offered only $2 back. Panda Garden for the most part, would provide food that's mediocre at best. But, because the location was close to me, I'll occasionally order from them. Tonight will be my last time. I ordered French fries, fried crisply and 4 wings. I live on Thompson street. After waiting almost a 1/2 hour for the food to be delivered. I had old, hard, oily fries. Very poor customer service! While paying, I asked the woman through what time someone would still order the lunch special. She didn't answer the first time. I had thought perhaps she didn't hear me, so I asked again. This time in a very rude way, she goes," What does the menu say?" The menu does list could order through 3pm. However, clearly on top overhead sign, states for lunch special, could order through 3:30pm, which is the reason I had asked. For the second or third time they have forgotten part of my order and all they put on the bill is the total amount they do not detail your order with separate prices. When I called today for the missing items they denied it and hung up the phone on me. I tried again and again they hung up on me. This place used to make good fresh food. They have gone downhill very fast in the past month. They seem to be cutting corners more and more each time. I finally decided, I will not return here because the quality of the food has been declining rapidly and the guy behind the counter today was rude and dishonest when I pointed out his mistake when charging me. Conveniently located right next to the 110, this place didn't have great signage and I nearly missed it. My beef teriyaki (beef skewers) were good, as were the dumplings. My beef was also pretty good. The fried wonton cake dessert was fantastic, as was the service and attitude of the owners. I would recommend this to anyone traveling to Stratford. read more
