Went there yesterday on Christmas. Totally understood that not many restaurants would be open so there would be a wait. Ordered and paid at 5pm. I was notified that the food was ready at 5:51pm. I got there at 6 and there were roughly 30 people inside waiting for orders. After 45 minutes, more people came in and ordered AND got their order before me. I had checked with the girl behind the counter and she said my order was almost done. Turns out they never made it. After I was sitting there for an hour and 40 minutes being told it was almost done. Then another woman tried to tell me someone else must've took my order. I said no it was never on the counter and I checked each bag and listened to each number called. I was fine with the wait especially on a holiday, but to then lie about the order being worked on multiple times, being told someone must've taken it, when in reality they never even made it. They finally were able to give me my order and it wasn't even right. This place isn't worth your money. They are rude, and don't take accountability. I don't live in the area but someone told me this is the place to go for Chinese. My order was ready when they said it would be and it was correct. I got veggie fried rice and veggie lo Mein. Both were flavorful without being too salty and I love that they used broccoli, cabbage, onion, carrots, mushrooms and zucchini instead of just throwing in water chestnuts and baby corn. Called in my order. Had to repeat each item three times. Had to ask how much and how long I should wait to come get it. I waited 20 minutes before heading out to go get the food. Upon arriving, we see the place is really struggling. Then people are coming in after us and and getting their food. 40 more minutes past and finally and order comes up. I asked if that was mine. They asked my phone number and they responded with that's not gunna work. Then they asked how much I paid and that matched but the order was wrong. We have tried several Asian restaurants in town, none rank very well, and few are incredibly horrible. This place is fast with a very simple menu. The egg drop soup is very good and I like the fact they don't throw a lot of things into it, to make it appear gourmet. The pork egg foo young is also good, very crispy outside while still being moist inside. It isn't on their menu, but my favorite dish is Moo Goo Gai Pan, and they will make it upon request. Note: If you are ordering lunch DO IT EARLY. They open at 11 am and by 11:30 am there is a long line, mostly walk in orders. Call your order in and walk to the front of the line for pickup is best. You can dine there, but they only have about 4 or 5 small tables, which is fine if you don't mind the line being right next to you. read more

Very busy tonight. Called early and was told our order would be ready in a little less than an hour. We drove around and wasted time and picked up in about 45 min. The food was excellent but we are 7 minutes away and most everything was luke warm, the soup was congealed. Easy enough to warm up but I think it sat there about 30 minutes longer than necessary. I know on a busy night it is difficult to judge how long it might take. We will definitely order from them again though. Also ask for any sauces you may need. For being in Janesville, WI, it's nice to know there is a decent place for Chinese-American food. Pretty tasty, and quite cheap ($5 lunch, $6-8 dinner). I notice most of the complaints are about online ordering. Also, they let me do a veggie (tofu) general tso's which for rural Wisconsin is asking for a lot. Let me make your job easier by ordering online and not taking the time of one or your workers by calling in - oh, and could you charge me for that please? Occasionally there's a missing piece in the order, but it's take-out and they're usually busy as all get-out, so - call it victim blaming if you want - if you don't check your order you've got it coming. (You're an adult. Check the bag before you take it. Just like a drive-thru.) The lo mein is sometimes overcooked, otherwise the food's not bad at all. The beef is solid, and a lot better than most other Janesville restaurants. Veggies are cooked well. Battered dishes are crunchy. The spring rolls would be 5-stars in any arena.
