Our takeout meal from Panda Garden was pretty good. The hot and sour soup was thin, but chock full of ingredients: mushrooms, strips of pork, tofu. The broth was spicy and hit the spot on this sub-freezing Saturday. Vegetable egg foo young was as good as I've had anywhere else. First impressions are lasting ones. After reading all of the reviews. I wondered if management considered all of the reviews over the years. It wasn't such a great time for Panda Garden in 2015, but it seems as if they have improved . The reviews don't reflect the improvements . It is important to bring awareness to consumers. My first impression was a great one. The restaurant was clean. You know appearance is everything to me. The man taking the order was difficult to understand. His English is very choppy. You need to take your patience with you when ordering. The food was cooked in vegetable oil, the yellow rice looked fresh. What I couldn't get over is the fresh veggies in the rice. The broccoli , carrots, snap peas, onions, and mushrooms couldn't get any better at a typical Chinese restaurant. The braised wings is one of my absolute favorite and not all Chinese restaurants can pull this off. The wings were small, the flavor was light and I can't express enough how fresh it taste. They have a clutter free website and easy to read. There are coupons to use when placing a phone order. It would be nice to see more pictures on the site, but a pleasure to see the site isn't over crowded with meaningless, distasteful images; I often see inside Chinese restaurants. Another wonderful feature they have a menu for the health conscience. The food is steamed and never fried. There isn't corn starch , sugar, oil or salt. Check out the menu under dieters choice. I used to think all mandarin cooking was the same, but I've notice a slight difference in each one . Sure it's the typical Chinese food. You're not going to see a turkey burger and fries. The food was horrible, I ordered hot wings but they ended up being sweet. We asked for them to fix them and make them less sweet but it looks like the cook wanted to complain and didn't think that there was a problem. It only took a minute for the cook to fix them and when we got them back, he just covered it in Teriyaki sauce. The service was horrible, the woman at the cashier was basically ignoring and avoiding us. They didn't really have any manners. The place is alright, it looks like they keep it clean. Been getting Chinese here for a few months after our usual place closed. Over the past few months, during the Pandemic, service AND food has declined significantly. Went to pick up dinner last night after calling in our order... The guy who answered the phone was rude at best. When I arrived to pick up, he was yelling through an intercom system and continued his rude tirade. Got the food and took it home to eat- YUCK! Chicken for my Sweet and Sour meal tasted like it had a pound of batter on a tiny piece of meat. Wow I went in here waiting on a tire replacement, thinking I could grab something reasonable to eat..... um I was dead wrong . I ordered Kung Pao chicken and Beijing beef with steamed rice an egg roll and crab rangoons. They started off giving me fried rice... then dumped the rice off my plate into the rice bin, then scooped up some steamed rice on the same plate. Gave me the rest of my order. It came to over $14.00( I had lunch at a real Japanese steakhouse for that including tip earlier this week and it rocked) the king Pao chicken was undercooked and extremely bland - I had a couple bites then thought I didn't need to press my luck. The Beijing beef was ok. The chicken egg roll- I've had better at race track off their hot dog rollers. The crab rangoons were unlike anything I've had in 30 years of having them. This meal was absolutely terrible. It was about 1120 so it's not like the food had been sitting in steam tables all day, this food was truly terrible. I don't eat here often, but when I do it's good. They recently hired someone and you can tell there is a struggle that the new hire was experiencing especially with an irate customer who could have just thought how to approach the situation better before he complained because he didn't get the "large" of something. So if you're decent enough to understand a learning curve for any new hire, it's worth the time to pick up something when you have a hankering for Chinese food. read more

Crab Rangoon from here is hands down the best! The rest of the menu is standard takeout chinese. The lo mein did go straight in the trash though, not good. First time here and man am I impressed. I love Chinese food, and this rates up there as one of the best I've had. Vegetable are fresh and crunchy, sauces are very tasty and not drowning everything else. The rice is delicious too. I had Kung Pao chicken and it was loaded with chicken and veggies and not super spicy. The egg rolls are stuffed full and very large and. It greasy at all. Also ordered steamed dumplings.
