This Panda Express consistently underperforms from other ones I've been to. They are regularly out of basic menu items like white rice and teriyaki chicken. Today I was told it was a 20 minute wait for those two items because they "opened late" yet it was 45 minutes after they opened. (Which I also didn't know about until I got to pay because they use an ai order taker) Normally I'd get the fried rice but this location's always has an off taste compared to normal too. Either the chicken isn't available or they don't have sauce...... this must be a Washington thing cause other sites doesn't seem to be a problem. Perhaps it's a Washington curse? 4th time eating here and probably the last. We like this place because it's the healthiest option and it's a good price to feed our big family. It's March 2023 and we came for dinner at 530pm. "Cash only" is written on a paper with sharpie marker. We come in and see advertisements all over for this new shrimp dish. I take a look at the food under the heat lamp and there's hardly anything to choose from. I'd say 4 entrees. So I ask the lady behind the food if she could make the new shrimp dish and she says "no, we don't have that and we hardly have anything else because our food truck isn't bringing anything for us." OK, so we pick some food that's already there, 3 different entrees-(2 chicken and 1 beef) and they all taste like they have the same sauce on them, even the orange chicken and there's hardly any sauce on them. What a disappointment. The males in my family had to wash up after eating and as they walked up to the bathroom, an employee walked out. My family couldn't wash up because there was NO soap or paper towels! So the employee did what to wash his hands? Disgusting. I'm grossed out that he's back there cooking our food! This location is particularly bad. I don't know how they can get an order wrong when a sticker with the contents of the order is on the container. Super greens sure doesn't look like noodles. I went through the drive through at this location for the first time this evening. As far as the drive through experience goes, it was spot on. It was quick and effortless. With regards to the food, I would say it was good. The portion sizes at this location in comparison to others is a little on the conservative side. The orange chicken and Beijing beef did not disappoint. However, one of my guests didn't get the teriyaki sauce they had ordered to be on the side with the teriyaki chicken they had ordered. Absolutely the worst f***ing service in the world. Have had multiple orders messed up or missing. After having dinner delivered one of the dinners was missing. I called and they said I could stop in sometime and I would have a credit or I could come back and pick it up. I had it f***ing delivered so I didn't have to go to the restaurant. On a different date we ordered for pick up and were told 15 minutes. We got there on time only to wait an additional 30 minutes for our food. So..this panda does not care about serving the trucker community. After a hard day of work, on labor day, I decided to stop and get some food before heading to my next destination. Choices were panda and MD. I went inside, since I'm driving a semi, sign on door said lobby closed. I took that to mean, no inside eating. I just saw a customer coming out, so I went in. Guy in charge asks if I'm picking up an order, I said no, I want to order. He tells me he doesn't have the staff to take my inside order, or a way to check me out. Wait..people are going through the drive through tho..paying cash or card right?? Yes, but I can't order inside?????? How does this make sense. So I ask, why is your door open then..he says I have to order online, then come inside and pick it up!!! Has everyone lost their freaking minds??? Where has common sense gone? I will add panda express to the list of businesses that will no longer get my business. And I will tell plenty of others about this, who share my thoughts of how business need customers and should treat them accordingly. Unfortunately I left hungry cuzz I was not in the mood.
