This location has a drive through and is sandwiched between Chipotle and McDonalds on Horizon Blvd. The food that we had today was good, but they are still working on ironing out some kinks in the service which is slightly slow and a bit mixed up. The service is mediocre. Only one girl is professional- young, short blond Caucasian with glasses. I pray you are lucky enough to order when she's working. Excellent person. I went here yesterday after a long absence, since I was in the area. Though it is technically fast food, and there is a certain sacrifice that comes with that in total quality, I will say that, for what it is, it's pretty good! The big surprise for me was actually the Kung Pao Chicken. I've had that dish from many "proper" chinese restaurants, but the Kung Pao Chicken here is some of the best I've ever had! My family visits Panda Express once every week. Chinese foods are highly-satisfying, healthy (depending on your choices), palatable, clean, and freshly-cooked. Amount of foods on our every visit varies depending on who's the crew for that day. The manager is always very considerate and friendly; he comes near our table and asks how's the food and everything or if there's something more that we need, etc. One Sunday at the door of winter, we all got disappointed because the store hours have changed; plus they can't anymore cook because it was already about 10 minutes before closing time; but we understand... who's going to order a minute before closing time and a few minutes more after? Nobody. So, using some "uncommon" common sense and a little bit of sensibility, we come to store at least 60-30 minutes before closing time to be fair with the crew and to get what we apparently want for our dinner. PLUS, if you're leaning towards weight loss, I recommend the BLACK PEPPER CHICKEN on a steamed rice! Then, end your meal up with a cup of Passion Tea! When we came to visit Beijing and Hong-Kong, the manager of the restaurants where we've dined would always announce: "Don't leave China without feasting on few slices of Peking Duck!" It was just ... "Wow!" For this, I hope Panda Express would give America a taste of China's most amazingly famous recipe: the Peking Duck! Let me start off with saying this review is primarily based off business practice. The food is not bad but it's fast food of Chinese. That being said we came in and ordered 25 dollars of food and the preparer made and packaged it, when we got to the cashier and ordered drinks they said the machine was out of order and it was being repaired. I placed an order online at 11:30 am for a pickup on 8:15 pm that night. When i went to pick up my order, I gave them my name, what I ordered, when i ordered and when the pickup time is. They claim i needed my order number to pick up my food. I gave them my order number shortly after. They needed a screenshot of my order confirmation which I cannot provide because their online ordering system is down. If I can log on, I would gladly provide that information. There should just be an order with my name on it, at most I might need to show my ID. I left the restaurant without the food I already paid for. read more

They opened a Panda Express near our mall last fall and I just went this past weekend for the first time, and have already been back twice. I freaking love it. It's not that expensive, and you get a good portion. And the food is dlish! The Honey Walnut Shrimp is my favorite! The Orange Chicken is so good, too - as is the Chow Mein. It's a great alternative to traditional Chinese takeout. Much quicker, and just as tasty! They were out of the shrimp and pot-stickers both times I was there, so I'm very excited to try them both next time. Will definitely be back! read more

Ok, so this place just opened like two weeks ago, Been dying to try as there is only one other really good Chinese place here in Bensalem ( New King Wok) - So we went through the drive through, the items are a bit pricey but the description and photos of the menu items looked tempting. When I arrived home (only like 5mins away) the food was just about room temp. not steaming hot as with most Chinese places. The low-mien was crap. The Teriyaki Chicken was chewy like rubber. The Orange Chicken was OK. The spring rolls had a (freezer burnt) taste. I'm wiling to give this place another shot as they just opened and prob still need to tweak here and there. Had to add soy sauce both times as the rice or chow mien noodles they serve with your entree was dry. I gave it two stars because of the Orange Chicken. Other than that, they are very slow. It seems as all the workers are fairly new to the environment and seem so flustered and lost. The main door is in a bad location because the line curves in front of the door so you have to stand right in front of the door and move when people walk in. This is my second time here and both times I got the fried rice and I am once again disappointed. There is NO flavor and nothing fried about it. Oh and by 12 they had run out of white rice and rangoons!!! I tried the chicken egg roll and had to spit it out. Horrible! Service has gone downhill. This used to be our go to drivethu. The gentleman that usually took care of us at the drivethu was excellent. Today's experience was AWLFUL. We placed our order and came to the window. We were told there would be an extended wait for spring rolls. First, why would you not have spring rolls at dinner time? So we opted not to wait so they took it off our order. Then they came back to the window and asked us to pull over so because we would have to wait for another item. I told them if we didn't want to wait for the spring rolls, why would we wait for the other order and asked them to replace with another item. They then came back, handed us our bag and told us to pull around to wait for the other item. We were then told we had to pull around because other people were waiting. So i pulled around to find multiple items waiting and the restaurant is locked due to no indoor seating and it took almost 10 minutes for someone to come out to "ask me what my problem was and what I needed." I don't know what everyone is complaining about. This place is awesome. Bensalem needed this after the whole chipotle e-Coli outbreak. I expect Panda to be slow for a while they are getting the hang of things. It's understandable. We were the only ones in there, but the staff was very friendly and the manager even gave us a discount. The food was hot and delicious. And the place is very clean and well stocked. Back story- my wife loves Panda Express. I actually have never eaten it. I decided to get take out for us for dinner one night. I got chipotle across the street. My wife asked my to stop at the panda next to the chipotle and get her her favorite, the orange chicken bowl with fried rice. It's pouring rain outside so I go through the drive through. Pull around, there's a sign on the drive through speaker thing that says the drive through is closed for the day. Sorry for the inconvenience. Okay, that's annoying but I get it. Sometimes drive through a close. Park the car, get out and walk in. I look and see the orange chicken bowl empty. Oh no I think, maybe my wife won't be enjoying orange chicken tonight. But wait! I see in the front of all the platters behind the glass a sign that says "Don't see your favorite dish? Just ask us and we will make more". Phew. Looks like my wife will be enjoying her chicken after all. The girl to take my order comes over and I tell her I want an orange chicken bowl with fried rice. She tells me. "Sorry, we are out of orange chicken". I look at the sign again that says very clearly "don't see your favorite dish? Just ask us and we will make more". She then says. "We close in 20 minutes." I look at my phone. It's 8:43 pm. Granted. I worked in food service before, so I get costumers coming in right before closing time is annoying. But why do you have a sign that specifically says "don't see your favorite dish? Just ask us and we will make more" if you arnt going to make any more? Maybe pull the sign at 8:30 then? DON'T WASTE YOU TIME !!! I got the Kung Pao chicken bowl. You get 1 side with it so I chose white rice. This was $5.90 plus tax. I wouldn't pay $1.90 much less $5.90. The Kung Pao chicken was on top of the bowl covering the white rice which was about 80% of the bowl. That means there was definitely less than a cup of Kung Pao .....probably more like a 1/2 cup. Kung pao is supposed to be spicy, but I couldn't taste any spiciness even though it had (2) kung pao peppers in it. I think they were added as an afterthought rather than being cooked in there. There was only a couple tiny pieces of chicken and the whole thing was so dry I could hardly swallow it. The white rice was under done and dry. We have some very good Chinese Restaurants in the area that we go to and none would be cought dead serving CRAP like this. BOTTOM LINE:.... DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME !!!
