This location is never open on time on Sundays. It is frustrating to pull up and be greeted at the drive-thru by the auto-greeter, but there is no one there. I have had fairly good luck with the food, but I know I can't count on an early lunch on Sundays. read more

I'd give it no stars, if possible. Let me preface this by saying I have been in the food service industry for years and I know what I should expect. I went through the Sioux City drive through to order. Right off of the bat, the employee was inattentive and I had to repeat myself to get an answer. I ordered crab rangoons for an extra side and was told there was a 5 minute wait, no big deal. I pulled up to the window and an employee handed me my food. I asked if the rangoons were in the bag and I was answered with attitude unlike anything I've ever experienced, "it's all in there" is what I was told. I checked the bag and they were not so I told her they weren't in the bag and and I also needed my drinks that I paid for. She then argued with me saying they were and I again, politely still, said no, they were not. She literally snapped at me and told me to let her see and she ripped the bag out of my hand and took it back inside the window. She came back and shoved my food at me, still did not get my drinks at this point. I then called and asked to speak with a manager, and know I am not usually one to complain. I was told to wait and when the employee got back on the phone I was told to call back in an hour or two when they "were not busy" and she abruptly hung up on me. Never in my life have I met refusal to let me speak with a manager at a food establishment. I always thought they should take a few moments to speak with an unsatisfied customer but obviously that's not how Panda conducts business. This is not the first time I have had a horrible experience at this location. It ruined my entire day and attitude. I called corporate and was on hold for 15 minutes before an operator answered and transferred me back to the same line I was just on and was hung up on yet again. Absolutely disgusted. read more

Customer service is questionable. I've gone through the drive up 3 times within the past year and of those 3 visits only 1 order has been correct. Most recently when I received my order at the drive up, I mentioned to the server that the order seemed light but she insisted all was in the bag so I drove away. I checked the order later and found that I was missing the bowl I'd ordered. I called the phone number on the receipt and received a voice mail so I left a message to please call me about my order. No phone call even after 3 days. I did return the next day and talked to the shift manager. She did replace my order however no apologies on the error or pleasantness on her part. It will be a long time before I go to Panda Express which is sad because the food is good. read more

If I can give this zero stars I would I made a yelp account just to write this review.. we just went through drive thru at 8:45 which they're still open waited 5 min no answer we went to window they just ignored us.. I really wanted panda so we went inside just to order while still saying maybe there short on people and couldn't help us. As we walked in the girl on head set said ugh I hate when people show up on drive through 4 cars left in that little time span and they ignored all of them . I tried to leave a review on the Receipt as soon as I put do not recommend it cut me of and said thank you for feed back didn't even give me a chance to comment. I like the food, but I have had nothing but problems with the Sioux City store. They get the online orders wrong more often than they get them right. Several times I've had to go back to have it fixed only to have them get it wrong AGAIN. The employees have been rude and unhelpful when it comes to online orders. I've also ordered online and confirmed it would be ready at a certain time, only to have them tell me it wasn't ready and take FORTY minutes longer than estimated. My family and I went to Panda Express in Sioux City, Iowa on Sunnybrook Drive February 2/8/2019 at approximately 6:15 PM. As we approached the buffet counter there was a Caucasian male who they served immediately, but when it was time for me to be served, I was left standing at the counter and ignored. Once, the Panda Express employee finished serving the customer in front of me. He went to the back and continued to talk to a coworker instead of providing me with the proper service. This Panda Express worker also had his hand under his shirt and was rubbing his body. This is not sanitary for someone who is serving food to others. Keep in mind that this place was not busy, but instead of providing me with service, they continued to ignore me. There was a drive through employee who was not busy. She passed by me several times and ignored me as well. At that time I told my family, "lets go!" There was group of customers, who rushed out of this restaurant and apologized to me for what they had just witnessed. They responded by saying, "We will not tolerate no one to be treated this way, and we want be eating here as well!" My wife called Panda Express immediately after we left, but whoever answered the phone, said, "Hello this is Panda Express. Can you hold on for just a moment, but never returned to the phone." We have tried to contact Panda Express on several occasions to resolve this issue, but the line is always busy! read more

I wish I could give them a big fat 0. The employees were incredibly rude, they never have brown rice, my beef with broccoli should have been named "just broccoli" and we didn't get our fortune cookies. This location is new but is the worst Panda Express I've ever been to. read more

I just went into this panda express hoping for the best despite all of the bad reviews. my mistake for giving it the benefit of the doubt. they were out of over 90% of the items and said it was "up to the kitchen if they felt like cooking anymore" so i left. Don't order online! Got there and the to go order receipt hadn't been grabbed from the register yet. The girl (I'm assuming a shift manager) pulled it off and set it down for someone else to prepare the order. A minute later, she picked the receipt up and walked over to me and said they did not have part of my order (white rice) and it would take 45 minutes. I politely just asked for the refund and wanted to be on my way, but since I'm out of town for travel I needed a receipt. After 3 times of her telling me that they could not get me a receipt I finally got one. Probably a great place, but ordering online ended up being difficult due to the restaurant not having food necessary for most orders. read more

I haven't been inside, but have been through the drive-thru 4 times. It's the only Chinese place in Sioux City I'm aware of that has a drive-thru. That is great in concept, but I always resort to yelling into the order sign because they can barely hear me and I can barely hear them. The food has been hit and miss, but normally OK in the past. On my visit today, my Beijing Beef was badly burned so badly it could not be chewed, The sauce for my burned crab rangoons was also missing. Unsure what quality standards must be to serve food in that condition, but I won't be back to find out. read more

Employees are incredibly rude, snarky, and condescending. I gave this place another try as I thought they certainly couldn't be worse than they were the 1st time I visited. I was wrong. The attitude of the young lady who "helped" me was almost laughable. She interrupted me more than once while I was placing my order at the drive-thru and at one time said, "Are you going to order something or not?" I'd explained that I needed a moment. I took less than 60 seconds and only because it was just my second visit and I was unfamiliar with their menu items. The one star is for the food. I ordered walnut shrimp and while I couldn't locate a single walnut, the meal was pretty good. I won't be back. It's too bad because our town really needed a fast food Chinese place with a drive thru. read more

The customer service is below par. After arriving home to find our order was wrong, we called and were told to bring in the receipt and incorrect food in order to be given the correct food. The manager stated that a lot of people lie so we needed to prove to them that it was their error. Never a good idea to assume the worst of your customers. We will not be returning. read more

Two different times this week I showed up at Panda Express and their featured item, the honey sesame chicken was offered to me at the drive up. Both times I attempted to order that and they then said "sorry we are out of that." I don't understand why you would offer it in the first place if you are out of it. Maybe you should change your intro at the drive up if you can't sell the item you're offering. I really feel like this place has the potential to be awesome. The first visit I showed up at 9 when they close at 9:30 and all the lights were off like they were closed. Even Verizon next door (which was closed) had all their lights on. These lazy kids didn't want people coming in before closing so they could get out faster. I don't think management would be very happy if they knew this. When I attempted to order at the drive up they named off a dozen different things that they were "out of" to the point where basically all I could order was rice. The second visit I showed up around 5. Again out of the honey sesame chicken. We settled for orange chicken and crab rangoons. The crab rangoons didn't come with any sauce to dip. This is just disappointing as a used to love Panda Express but they constantly are giving me bad experiences just because they don't want to make more food for the customers or even make it properly. read more

I visit a disabled relative in Sioux City once a month, taking in lunch to her. I was delighted to find Panda Express but am dismayed by the poor service at opening time. The doors open at 11 a.m., but they are usually not prepared to actually start serving food at 11 a.m. - rather, one finds the cooks in the process of preparing food. This location should have food ready to serve at the time they open for business. This last Sunday I placed an on-line order to be ready for pick-up by 11:15 a.m., arrived to find a handwritten note on the door that due to being short staffed chefs, they were opening at 11:20 am instead of 11:00 a.m. There was already a half a dozen customers waiting outside. They opened the doors at 11:20 a.m., an employee immediately confirmed that they had received my on-line order, and then as I waited they proceeded to serve 8 people in front of me because the Teriyaki Chicken that I ordered was not yet ready. I received my food at 11:40 a.m., 25 minutes late. As my disabled relative waited in a wheelchair waiting for me to arrive. Who is the manager and why is this poor service tolerated? read more
