"Chicken Chow Mein"
Jessica N.

Okay Four Season's please look up the definition of chow mein on google. FYI it's not rice.. TDLR: ordered chicken chow mein, got rice instead of noodles. I immediately assumed my order was wrong by the lady stood her ground and said chow mein is rice. Knowing I was going to question my order when I received it, but rather than clarifying it with me, you asked the guy who took my order. Very little chicken lots of wonton chips though...What? They're food very adequate for lack of knowledge on Chinese dishes. I'm usually an advocate for small businesses and family owned restaurants, but saying that chow mein is a rice dish really threw me off. First time here, personally I will not come back, but will encourage others to give it a shot. They have great tasting egg rolls. Reminds me of my mama's egg rolls. The best advice I can give for those who plan to come here is to probably stick with Vietnamese food rather than the Chinese lunch special.

Bun bo hue (forgot to take a photo until I'd devoured half)

Amazing. The bun bo hue was delicious and so flavorful: fatty, herbal, and plenty of heat. Coffee was nice and strong. Some of the best Vietnamese food I've had in the US. Can't wait to go back.

This is the restaurant inside. Great place and hopefully soon Bitesquad can deliver from there!

I love the food here, I hope Bitesquad can deliver for them soon! The staff is always friendly, and the food is made fresh. I like how they have actual mint in their spring rolls, Da Kao does not, and their Bon Bo Hue, I think that's how it is spelt but that is the best in town, hands down!

Awesome to bad u can't smell this picture

I've tried at least 8 different menu items and nothing to complain about...I love to complain..All so very good!

Food is overpriced, also my orange chicken had mostly broccoli. Lo mien was okay but I would not recommend it to anyone.

I ordered the cashew chicken. I had 5-7 pieces of cashew on my chicken. The chicken was rubbery and didn't taste like chicken at all.

Always looking to promote and patronize local, searched Yelp for dinner, and decided on Pete's…read more Talking with the host, this restaurant has been around for a while. Picked their Tumeric Crepe (wasn't very hungry), a new-to-me app dish. A healthy portion of pork and popcorn-size shrimp, bean sprouts, and a rice wine vinegar for drizzling. It was very good. If I'm remembering correctly, tumeric, which has no real taste solo, lends its flavor when mixed with food; unfortunately, I'm not as experienced with the spice as I wish, as I feel like most southeast Asian restaurants seem to add it on the conservative side in the states, but the flavor profile was great. Pad Thai for the parents. They loved it. My mother remarked that the dish had a little more vinegar taste, not a strong peanut flavor, and not spicy; both gave it two thumbs up. I did get the Yellow Curry with tofu to-go to eat the next day. It was very, very good. Spiced enough to warm my mouth, and still taste the flavors. Do I wish it had a few more tofu cubes, yes, but I'm always a protein enthusiast, haha! Their menu was somewhat extensive compared; if I lived in the area, I'd assuredly be back multiple times and try more of their dishes. A great find, thanks Yelp!

Very disappointing experience overall. I ordered Vietnamese coffee and the milk tasted sour and…read moreold. We also had multiple issues with our order being incorrect twice. We ordered spring rolls with no chicken, but they still came out with chicken. The pho/soup was ordered with no crab meat and no onions, yet it still arrived with both. On top of the horrible service, the food quality and flavor were not good at all -- very bland, maybe 2/5. Unfortunately, I would not recommend or return.

I enjoy Lakeshore Pho, I have eaten there with my cousins there were 8 of us, and we just walked in unannounced. They were busy but they were able to accomodate out group, and food came out fairly quickly, but not all at once. Some people had to wait an extra 5 mins to get what they ordered.ut all the food tasted great and the offered large servings. I ate 3 helpings of the curry I had ordered. The basic curry dish was so large I had to get another side order of rice. I was stuffed and still ended up taking a whole serving home also.Which tasted great hours later. I have since been back to try their noon bufffet. I really enjoy their noon buffet. They have one beef and veggie dish that is super good in the buffet, but I don't know what it's called. I like their curry, aswell. Actually I haven't found anything in the buffet I'm not a fan of. A couple of weeks ago I went to the buffet and they had some electrical issues with the heating element on the buffet unit. So I had to order off the menu. The food came quickly, and was good. I noticed they had cut back on their serving sizes, as I was able to eat what I was served, in one helping as opposed to 3-4 servings from the first time I was there. Which I can't fault them for, it's just good usiness sense. The prices are good, the wait staff are cordial. Especially the older gentleman that works there. He is very attentive, and cheerful. I like taking my family and friends there too! On one inmprompt to occasion, I ran into a cousin of mind there, who was getting take out. I invited her to join me for lunch, and we had a very enjoyable lunch together. I live in Cherokee, it's about a 30 min drive to get to Storm Lake, but I gladly drive it, to eat lunch there. I'm looking forward to the next time, I dine there.
