I got delivery from here and was super surprised how good it was. I haven't had Panda Express in a long time so I don't know if the brand has just gotten better or if it is this specific location. Yes, I've had Panda Express many times but I've never had it while living in Richmond, nor from this location. Although they had great customer service, I wasn't happy with the quality of the food and the quantity. My order was small portions almost like a kids serving. This is particularly the reason why there's no photo with the review. The serving was so small that I ate a few bites and looked down to see it wasn't even enough food to take a quality picture. The quality of a lot of items was horrible. Food was looking over cooked and some items like the chicken teriyaki looked under cooked. Even while ordering they messed up on my order. I took a call but asked for half veggies and half chow mein and before I knew it, there was half fried rice and half chow mein on my plate. I didn't want to cause confusion so I kept it as it is. I tried the new Chili crispy-shrimp (it's spicy) and they were good except they were over cooked. The needs and broccoli was nice but the orange chicken didn't taste Stella. read more

Overall I had a positive experience. I'm usually irked by Chinese takeout because sometimes the meat can be super fatty and chewy but that wasn't the case with these meals which I was pleasantly surprised about. The only downsides were they did not have a nutrition menu that outlines the ingredients (I thought most restaurants would have that?) and they weren't willing/able to provide a small side of the orange chicken sauce. But the woman at cashier immediately offered me sweet and sour sauce instead which I appreciated. read more

I cannot understand why placing an order and speaking directly with the employee and they cannot remember the order. Had to repeat myself multiple times to get my order correct and had to do it one last time at the register. Many times the employees just do not look happy about being in the job. The portions that they provide for the money is very small and if you get anything with vegetables, you get more vegetables than meat, my husband got the fried rice and he said that a lot of it was undercooked and crunchy. read more

We love Panda Express! It was our first time at this location. They were super-busy but the food was hot and fresh! This location is going to do great, as there's nothing in the area like it. I ordered a bowl the other day with super greens as a side and chicken as the entree. The bowl had a pool of liquid at the bottom from the super greens, which resulted in soggy chicken at full price. It is just frustrating that the time isn't taken for things to be done the correct way. read more

I got there around 7:30pm . There was a line and the staff was efficient and polite. The poorest Customer Service I have ever seen. They were out of walnut shrimp and black angus steak. I told them I would wait. 15 mins later, no one made any effort to start cooking. I asked again how long it would take, I was told another 15 mins. I waited 10 mins and still saw no effort to start cooking. The Employees were only interested in talking with each doing and ignoring the empty food serving containers and Customer needs. This Restaurant is poorly ran and poorly managed. read more

The food is great and the place seems to always be kept clean. This location hs maintained the Panda Express flavors and I have not been disappointed in the portion sizes or freshness of the food. The manager has his hands full in keeping his staff professional and friendly. He is very professional and he stays on top of his staff and has executed a lot of patience when dealing with them. The staff consists of a lot of young people, which is to be expected...however..their customer service skills have a lot to be desired..... of course in the very beginning there was the usual "welcome to Panda Express" that was yelled out and of course now it only seems to be said when the manager is there and after the new people become more knowledgeable of the jobs and it wears off after training ... now it is only occassionally if the staff likes how you look when you come in. I hate to say it but this personality is typical of employees in this area and I wish it would change so that the general review of the East End would not continue to be as it is....you are basically on tiptoe and just want to get in the store and out of the parking lot before you get yelled at or cussed out.
