I would definitely come back and order something different on the menu to try. Not bad for being in South Hill / Puyallup!

Those simple acts go a long way for me! Food was delish, even the person who originally said she didn't like Thai food complimented Chili Thai! And everyone had leftovers! And that is from the luncheon menu! Great food, fabulous service and we will be back! I had the drunken noodles and prawns, fresh rolls and chicken pad Thai, all were really good. Be aware that in addition to shrimp, the fresh rolls also have chicken. I failed to read that on the menu.

I get the economy is bad and food supplies is expensive but a dinner portion padthai being enough for 1 and half people is crazy increase your prices and stop advertising a dinner portion that really should be a lunch portion.

He was simply playing with a single piece of broccoli because he wanted to pretend he was cooking like the chefs. He doesn't even eat broccoli. Our other son also took one small piece of beef from our plate then immediately spit it out because he didn't like it. We made it clear to the host that our kids weren't eating because they wanted McDonald's, and we were fully aware of the no sharing policy. We've been to plenty of Mongolian grills and all you can eat restaurants, so we're not new to how it works. We did not share our food with our kids. What really bothered us was being told, essentially, "we'll pay for your kids' food because you can't afford it." Lol. It was only about $15 extra, so it wasn't about the money. It was the principle. We weren't going to pay for food our children didn't eat. I understand the restaurant is having a hard time right now, but that doesn't mean it's okay to take advantage of customers. We tried explaining the situation, but they didn't even want to hear us out at first. I eventually told them to check the cameras, and once I said that, they decided to drop the charge and didn't make us pay for the kids. they ultimately made it right, but only after I told them to check the cameras then they dropped it. The way the situation was handled was disappointing. Charging us because our 2 year old was playing with one piece of broccoli was already questionable, but the comment about us not being able to afford it was completely unnecessary. The iron grill in Covington is A LOT better food wise. No comparison check out that place instead of here.

During my second visit, the hostess went out of her way to try to seat us in the very back of a nearly empty restaurant.. The food was okay. The floor to and in the women's restroom was terribly sticky. Not good. On my third and final visit, again, the hostess passed several empty tables to try to seat us in the back of the restaurant. Plus, our waitress, who took at least 10 minutes to come to our table, could barely understand English. I ordered chicken curry, but she repeated some unrelated combo. I told her "no". Then, I pointed to my desired dish on the menu and repeated my order. Unfortunately, she messed up my simple order, and I received an unwanted shrimp dish. It took three wait staff and about 20 minutes to correct my order. By that time, my boyfriend was about half way through his meal he graciously offered to share. Interestingly and oddly enough, the waitress, who finally brought me my correct order, profusely apologized to my boyfriend with barely a glance my way. What an insult! That night, they lost two customers. Goodbye, Yen Ching.
