Really long wait times. Waited 30 mins in line before I had to go, and still not served. They let online orders skip to the front of the line, and will let walk in customers sit in the lobby for a very, very long time. Meanwhille watching online ticket after online ticket come in and get filled immediate in front of the line oout the door. They also like to close early. If you're thinking about later in the evening food, and believe they are open.. don't. They're open.. you can walk in, unfortunately you'll only be able to order like a 3rd of the menu. The restaurant opens at 10 am. We arrived at 10:50 am. Very few food options available. Rice tasted old and dry. Sweet tea, wasn't sweet at all. The opening kitchen manager and restaurant manager really need training. Really disappointed. We wont be returning. We didn't want money or a credit of any kind, that isn't the point. Fanny made my experience so uncomfortable, and honestly, I've never been treated so poorly before. She clearly had no interest in being helpful or polite, and I felt judged the entire time. By the end, she even gave me a fake smile and sarcastically told me to "have a nice day" after treating me like I did not matter looking me up and down and saying wow this is clearly all for you and smirked. I get that writing a bad review can affect a business, and I usually try to avoid it, but this experience was just too awful to ignore. This was the busiest Panda Express I have ever been to, anywhere in the USA. It has a lot of people working in it, to take care of customers. I always order the same meal at all Panda Express I visit, since it helps me compare locations. I get a two item plate with Orange Chicken, Teriyaki Chicken and Chow Mein. The employees I encountered were very friendly. While the food was great, there were two differences at this location that I hadn't encountered anywhere else in the US. 1. They pre-cut the Chow Mein. All the other Panda Express I have been to create traditional uncut noodles for their Chow Mein, but this location had cut them into three inch lengths. It didn't change the taste of it, but I prefer uncut more spaghetti length noodles because they're traditional. 2. There was a packet of Teriyaki sauce in my bag to go on my teriyaki Chicken. It was a thick and tasty sauce and added greatly to the Teriyaki Chicken. I'd like to see all Panda Express locations do this. I received my order pretty quick. Had to put a fork and napkins in the bag myself, which isn't so great if you don't know you have to do that, or you forget. Overall, I can see why this location is so popular. read more

The food at most Panda Express's where I've dined has been decent, but service varies by location. Prescott Valley's location could upgrade their customer service. For instance, last night at 8:45 I stopped by to get a "plate" to go, and of the usual 10 or so entrees, only 3 or 4 were offered. I asked the Asian lady with a pony tail, "You folks close at 10 p.m. Why are there so few entrees?" She didn't answer my question, then asked, "What do you want?" and not in a very polite way. When in Prescott I often dine at the Panda Express there. Exceptional service, plus they offer Vets a 10% discount. I'll be doing my business there from now on along with some other Chinese restaurant in Prescott Valley. Generously, I'm giving the PV location a "3" rating. Instead of accommodating my extremely long wait, she offered me one and made me feel guilty about it. Bought my son panda tonight. Orange chicken and chow mein. He bit into bone chunks in the orange chicken. Showed me the bone and I could clearly see chunks of bone. Not small either. The manager or owner of this store is mean. My husband stopped in to pick us up dinner once and an older Asian gentleman was yelling at a customer! From what my husband could gather, the young girl did not have enough money to pay for the food. This location has markers on the floor to designate social distancing. However the people behind me in line still stood close enough to breath down my neck! I looked over at them like, and took a step away. They followed. I had to ask them to STOP standing next to me! Every rare occasion, service is so bad that I must seek out yelp to write a review. In this case, I asked the young man serving for teriyaki sauce on the side. He ignored the request or was not listening as is so often the case now adays. Did not seem to give a shi#. No smile, no thank you, no eye contact. When I sat down to eat, discovered no sauce.... no problem people forget. What was really frustrating is this same young man told me I would have to wait behind two customers that had yet to get checked out at the register with large orders, to get a package of teriaki sauce (that i asked him for in the beginning), while he just stood there and watched another employee serve food. Where are they getting these young, dumb people that don't give a ## about their job and don't know how to listen? Seems to be everywhere now adays, just these people are extra rude. And the icing in top was that the food was awful. Not happy at all with Panda Express in Prescott Valley. Thus is the 2nd time they have done this to me. Went in order 2 plates, kids meal and 3 xhixken egg rolls $38.87 total. New hire waited on me got half the portion rather than what I'm used to getting. I asked the cashier to please look at my plates to make sure everything I ordered was there. I get home to have dinner at 6:30 like everyday. Needless to say 1 of the plates did not have what I ordered which was Kung po chicken and orange chicken with chowmein. It's fast, it's a no brainer.... it's Panda Express that feeds the masses. I had no time to sit down at a nice Chinese restaurant, so this was it. My kids are usually satisfied with what they offer. No worries. The place was clean and service was fast. Nothing lacking here. All main dishes were ready and waiting. I had to pick up 4 meals to go. I wish I could give a lower rating, but I can't. Normally this place is good to eat at and I never have any issues but this completely ruined my view of this establishment. My grandmother ordered dinner their for my family and I they gave it to her and she left. She got home and looked through the food and they completely forgot to put in the two orders of rangoons we got and an entire carton of orange chicken. So she called them and her and the employee that answered talked for awhile and then she asked me and my boyfriend to go pick up the food they never gave us. So we go in there and I have to use the restroom so my boyfriend talks to someone and they direct him to the manager. The manager tells my boyfriend ok that they'll get the food but he needs to check the cameras. Like what the hell? He acted like we were robbing them when they stole money from my grandma. So my boyfriend and I sat there from 8:00 to 8:30 waiting for him to be done checking the cameras. By then my grandma drives from home to the restaurant and has to tell the manager that the way they were acting was ridiculous and we were just here to get the food they forgot. The manager starts yelling at us like we did something and tells us he can't give us the Rangoons or a refund, but he'll give us the chicken and some egg rolls. We agree and my grandma leaves. We wait there for another 30 minutes and he goes back to the cameras and doesn't make the food. Mind you they close at 9. Finally he brings us the food and asks us to go outside with him and talk. Weird right? So we go outside and he tells us that there's orange chicken and egg rolls in there. We say ok and start to walk away but he looks at us and tells us we were liars. That we only missed the rangoons not the chicken. How do you tell your customers who literally opened the bag of food that they're liars? So I told him no that he stole from us and that we weren't lying and we were the ones who opened the food. He said I was lying and continued to yell at me so I told him to have a goodnight and I walked away. When my boyfriend and I get home we start eating the food we waited for and you'll never believe what happened. There was a whole ass pebble in my food. I'm done lol. Wow, is all I can say about my experience at this store. The manager (Tom, I think is what I heard) was just straight up RUDE. He was yelling at the poor old lady in front of me because she could t understand him very well. It wasn't her fault he had a strong Asian accent! He shouldn't be a manager if he doesn't know how to treat people. The old lady was timid and afraid of him. Finally, I stepped in and "translated" for her! You could clearly see he was irritated. Thing is, there was no one behind me! The old lady wasn't keeping people waiting! He was a real a hole, and I hope he knows, what goes around, comes around.
