I always get orange chicken and or walnut shrimp. At Carmel, the orange chicken was increasingly too tough to eat. At Noblesville, they make Carmel look good. Panda Express is great if you go during peak hours but not so much when it's not busy. Yesterday I was sitting at their drive through at 1030 am which is when they open. They were 10 minutes late opening and I had to sit at the window an extra five minutes for my food to be prepared but it was excellent. I love the sweet fire chicken with fried rice. It's one of the few dishes they make with chicken breast. I do wish they served lo mein which is a must when eating Asian foods in America. Generally we get great food from PE but this last round in our family order was not great at all. The Black Pepper Angus Steak was basically a bunch of gristle and the "baby broccoli" was actually nothing but stems. It felt like the kitchen prep crew, or whomever supplies these in the ready to heat portions, made a mistake and dumped the trimmings in the bag vs the actual broccoli florets you are supposed to get. The steamed vegetable were brightly colored and tasted great, as well as the famous orange chicken original fried rice. I recommend hot mustard sauce on the side. It was 8:45pm on 4/28/2022. Panda has always been a stable go to for pseudo Chinese food. At our house we call it discount PF Changs. It's close to the same menu but in styrofoam containers. It's a guaranteed level of acceptable food. This time the experience was anything but acceptable. As soon as we walked up we noticed the noodles were gone and the fried rice was down to the crusty scrapings...literally. And everything was pretty much gone but there was maybe a half a ladle of hour old cold orange chicken and one ladle of tepid chicken mushroom goop. "What can I get you?" was the question by the woman behind the counter. "Good question. When will the food be finished cooking so we can order?" She responded "the cook close kitchen today at 8:00 to clean and go home. We done!" I mentioned that the hours said till 9pm they were open. Basically she blew it off and said they were cleaning to hurry and go home. But once again we could buy the left over crusted scrapings they still had in the pots they hadn't washed yet. What a joke. The food quality has been tanking for about 3 years at this location and it isn't COVID related. That's just a justification to embrace mediocrity and still get paid for it. This location shouldn't use the Panda name or image. They actually should use a raccoon or what hillbillies refer to as "trash pandas", because this is exactly what this location is. read more

Certainly one of our favorites amongst the Panda portfolio in Indiana. We both order the plate (2 entrees & a side) - she always the fried rice w/ orange chicken and teriyaki chicken. I save the calories - steamed veggies w/ 2 orders of teriyaki chicken. Getcha protein on peeps! About $15 all in w/ waters to drink - and we both carry out nearly an entire bowl of leftovers for lunch next day. Unless I'm really hungry and I've stuffed myself on all of it. It's always busy - they should hire an extra head just to keep tables wiped down during prime times. read more

Chinese fast food, nothing too special here. The orange chicken and mushroom chicken are my go to favs on the menu with their fried rice. The grilled teriyaki chicken is also a nice alternative. It is not a real efficient process to move people through the line but at least you see them making the food when needed. As per most Chinese food places they give a fortune cookie that states a fact or some dumb saying, rarely an actual fortune. A good quick option for Chinese like food. read more

Not worth the money and terrible service at the Noblesville, Indiana location. I placed an online order before noon for a 5:45 pm pickup. When I arrived, the employees were very backed up on orders, despite no one being in line currently ordering. There seemed to be a general frustration. When I finally got my order, I got home to find that it was incorrect. One whole plate of our order had all parts incorrect. The entrees include very little meat. When I tried to submit the survey by phone, I heard a recording that this was not available. When I tried to go to their website, it's a 3 step process that asks me to download an app to complete the survey. Honestly, it's asinine. read more

Absolutely Terrible. If I could give zero stars, I would. Terrible service. They had the audacity to BLAME THE CUSTOMER for their wrongdoing. My boyfriend had ordered me a plate with chow mein. He gets home and what I have in my plate is not chow mein but ALL CABBAGE additive with about two noodles. This location puts WAY too much cabbage in their chow mein to where every bite is ALL CABBAGE. Absolutely disgusting. It ruined my meal. If I wanted cabbage I would've ordered it, but no, I ordered noodles, expecting noodles. Other panda locations put the right amount of cabbage additive into their chow mein, but if you're looking for straight cabbage, go to this location! I drove all the way back to panda because I was so upset and the quality was so abysmal. They had the audacity to say that they asked my boyfriend if he'd like to wait for a new batch of noodles and that he said it was fine to have the bottom of the pot (all cabbage). First of all, they have no idea which male they served was my boyfriend, and I confirmed with him that he was indeed NOT asked to wait. They just said that to cover their behinds because they knew they were in the wrong. Additionally, why should a customer have to wait for a new batch of noodles when it should be ready in the first place? Every time I've stepped foot in this establishment previously it seems that nothing is ever made or in the pots. Always having to wait because of their slacking. They don't value the customer's time. Lastly, my boyfriend knows that I hate cabbage and specifically that this location puts way too much additive in their chow mein, so he indeed would NEVER have said it was ok to have the bottom of the pot. To try and BLAME THE CUSTOMER because THEY don't know how to make noodles is absolutely appalling. It isn't the customers fault that they serve poor quality food. The workers at this location should be ASHAMED. Completely ruined my day, I will be taking my business to the location by Hamilton town center where they actually care about the customer. read more

5 stars to a chain restaurant? Hear me out! The staff here is always so pleasant. If you go to Panda Express, you know what you're getting! Is it the best egg roll or rangoon you'll ever eat? No. Does it have delicious orange chicken! Heck yeah! And, this location always delivers. The staff is really nice, and they're willing to go the extra mile. I was there around 2PM, and a lot of the food looked fresh... But the veggies I wanted looked a little sad. I asked for fresh, response: "No problem!" With a smile! Orange chicken and string bean chicken were fresh, and hot, and really hit the spot. They didn't have that waxy component some foods have after sitting out.
