Only gave them a 1 star because count do 0 stars I know restaurants are having a hard time, but there is always a line at Panda Express why I have no idea their supper busy and they cut every corner they can. Several times we have gone and they are out of rice, RICE at 5pm on a Friday, have the manager go to Safeway or Freddy's and by some bags. No sauce for the teriyaki chicken, spring rolls or any other entree. There are other restaurants that are struggling and appreciate customer's, will be going some of those next time. read more

I usually love Panda Express, and I have given this location several tries but never have received good service. For one, they are almost always out of food and then get very annoyed if they have to cook something, plus it sometimes takes 20 minutes. Last week, I went for dinner two hours before they closed and they only had 2 entrees available. Today I went through the drive thru and asked for half rice, half veggies, when we got to the window we saw the girl put chow-mein in our box so when we asked her about it, she got really rude and said that's why I ask if it's right before you drive up to the window. She tossed the already packed box on the counter and went to re-do it with the correct items. She came back handed the card/food to us without even looking and then shut the window. We wanted to ask for a pack of soy sauce but she would not acknowledge us in the slightest. WORST ONLINE ORDERING EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! I placed an online order at 4:25 p.m. for pick up at 5:35. This place is an absolute JOKE! I couldn't wait for Panda to come to Newberg, now I drive to sherwood, as this is THE worst food and service I've ever experienced at a Panda. Anyway.... finally got home to eat, only to realize they DID NOT put my spring rolls in the bag! Ugh! So I called and asked to speak to the manager, they set the phone on the counter while they tried to find the manager.... in the meantime I could hear every single word they were saying! They were talking bad about the "customer on the phone", which was me! And also the fact that they couldn't find the manager on duty. One of them finally said, "just tell her he stepped out and we'll have him call her back". So when this person got back on the phone with me, that's exactly what she said, to which I replied, "I could hear every word you guys just said, and I know you don't know where your manger is, just give me corporate or your district managers number". I asked for a large fried rice and the lady says large plate with fried rice & I said no just a large fried rice .! It was mainly frustrating because in the driveway they said it was a 3 min wait and we were fine with that- after 10 min I went inside and she said she "didn't mean to say that". A much better Panda than the Sherwood location. I wanted a good amount of orange chicken so I was considering getting a plate. I saw that the staff was actually giving two scoops of orange chicken per bowl instead of the half scoops that I had come to expect, so I happily got a bowl instead. My bowl was still hot, and the chicken met my expectations. It is also a very lovely space. We sat outside and enjoyed the summer day. Plenty of seating inside as well. read more

Excited to see a Panda near GFU, but I think this is the worst one I have ever been to. Every time there is a long wait for food and the customer service is terrible. Today I went in and got a bowl and I had about four actual pieces of orange chicken in it. I asked the girl working if I could get a little more because it was like half a scoop and my bowl was about half full. The cashier took my bowl before I finished talking and tried to ring me up. The other worker I was previously talking to told her I requested more chicken. The cashier asked her if that was a scoop and she said yes. She rang me up and at no point addressed the actual customer... would it hurt to put at least a couple more pieces in the bowl to make a customer happy... apparently. This was the worst Panda experience of my life. Usually, the food portions are okay and the servers are nice. But today was an all-time low. The first two workers were very sweet and patient with my order. But then I think they got busy because they had to hand off my order to another employee. They told him, half noodles and half rice. He put in half noodles and didn't put in half rice. He then handed my order off to another sour-faced employee. This employee was the worst customer experience I've ever had. 1. She put a TINY amount of entree into my bowl. My friend and I compared bowls, and my friend had twice as much food as I did (another employee was helping my friend). 2. When the sour-faced employee rang me up, she asked me "what did you get"? I said I got a bowl with kung pao chicken. She rolled her eyes and snapped "what was your side". How does that affect the price? Why was she so impatient about it? 3. As my friend and I walked out, I noticed the amount of food in my bowl was suspiciously little. I opened it to investigate and discovered that the guy employee didn't put in my half rice. So I had half a side and a tiny amount of entree. I walked back in and pointed out the mistake to the sour-faced lady. She didn't apologize. Didn't make eye contact with me. She snapped, "take your fork out of the bowl". And dumped two little scoops of fried rice onto my bowl carelessly. Then I left and ate my Panda bc Panda is my life, but I am fuming! My receipt says that the server name was Briana H. I don't know if this was the sour-faced lady (since she was the one that rang me up) or one of the nice ladies that helped me first. But if you walk in and there's a sour-faced lady that looks like a Briana, avoid her and maybe you'll get a normal-sized portion of food. read more

Worst Panda Express ever!! Had another disappointing experience here tonight, and it will be my last. Ordered Panda Feast in drive through and was told it would be a 7 minute wait for the string bean chicken. Followed instructions to pull around and wait by front door. At the 20 minute mark, had to put on my mask (COVID) and go inside the store to check on our order. The entree we were waiting for was restocked on the food line but no one filled our last box and brought our order out. The rest of our order had been sitting there for 20 minutes getting cold. Not sure if they ever would have brought it out if I hadn't gone in. Took another 5 minutes for someone to dish up our last entree. No apology from supervisor who handed it to me. Got home and was further disappointed when we discovered the boxes were only 2/3 to 3/4 full, and the beef broccoli was just over half full. Definitely not $37 of food. Not the first time I have experienced terrible and disorganized service here with inconsistent portions that are not in line with what you get at other Panda Express restaurants . . . done throwing money away at this place. This panda express location is literally the worst location of panda to ever exist. I have probably been here seven times total since it's been opened. Five out of the seven times I was told they were completely out of string bean chicken breast. For different reasons. The two times they did have string bean chicken breast it tasted so old and gross that I ended up throwing it away. I'm not sure how it is possible for them to be so awful at doing something that's thousands of other stores do properly. My daughter also says that the orange chicken here taste old and gross as well. So it's not just the string bean chicken breast. I was told today that they didn't have enough string beans to make new string being chicken breast. Really? Every time I come here? Maybe here's an idea for you. Cut more string beans in the morning! I've watched a manager disrespect a customer and order him around, watched managers disrespect employees numerous times, then the drive through seriously skimps on food. Bowls & plates are only 1/2-3/4 full. You can pretty much bank on the fact that you will get way less food in the drive through and it will be the remnants of left overs. Also been numerous times when they are out of multiple entree dishes at once. I really have wished it would have improved. I walked in a asked for a bowl but was given a plate. I was very confused because I asked the food to go, when I asked why they gave me a plate they said they were out of bowels... I got a drink and they were out of straws but were actually only giving them to the drive through and was rude when I asked for some saying I'd have to wait 20-30 minutes. My Rangoon's were completely empty and extremely hard when I got them. Orange chicken was dry and I only got a third of a portion of what I normally get when I go to any other Panda Express.
