    This is the BEIJING BEEF..

I have been to multiple Panda Express locations.. I was excited when i found out that there is one close to home that is being built.. I have loved ordering my veggies.. But this is the First time that i did not even go thru 2 bites from it.. When i opened the To go box, it already hit me that the vegetables were soggy.. And when i took a bite from it, i tasted the oil. Did the cook boiled the veggies too long and stir fry it?? i tried to douse it with the chili sauce because i was too hungry, but it couldn't cover the taste.. Beijing Beef? Teeny tiny beef thats over battered and tasted pasty.. And off course.. The famous Orange Chicken.. The same situation as the Beijing beef.. Disappointing... I'll be skipping this location.. Dundee, Algonquin and Elgin locations have better tasting and much fresher food than the Huntley location. Just have to suck it up and drive farther..

I just visited this panda and placed my order through the drive through. The person taking my order was very short with me and I felt like they were trying to rush me. I then asked for sauce and they cut me off saying "you can ask for sauce at the window. Anything else?" So I said no and went to the window. The person at the window pushed my bag at me and took my card. Then closed the window and went to run my payment. They returned to the window to give me back my card and as I was saying "thank you", closed the window. So I wasn't able to ask for any sauce (lol.) once I got home I looked at my bowl (honey walnut shrimp and lo mein) and saw that I paid about $9 for 6 shrimp.. I felt it fit the overall experience lol. If you're wanting panda, maybe just drive a little further and go to the one in algonquin. Lol.

The chicken is virtually non-existent. I'd rather have you tell me you're OUT of what I ordered versus give me scraps

Thanks for the chicken? In my entree, this is literally #1 the wrong type of chicken and #2 the ONLY chicken the whole bowl. It's barely a spoonful. This was a total waste of money. The chicken is virtually non-existent. I'd rather have you tell me you're OUT of what I ordered versus give me scraps of crappy chicken. I won't ever come back here.

I'd have happily waited for a fresh batch. I wish I could get my money back bc this is going in the trash.

China Bistro offers a dependable take on classic Chinese-American cuisine in a comfortable,…read moreno-frills setting. The menu leans into familiar favorites, delivering dishes that are satisfying and approachable without trying to reinvent the genre. While the food is solid and consistently prepared, it doesn't quite push beyond the expected. A little bland and lacking a little heat. Still, for those looking for reliable flavors and a straightforward dining experience, China Bistro holds its place as a steady three-star option in the local lineup.

The food here is just a little better than okay. China Bistro has the standard…read moreeggrolls/spring-rolls filled with cabbage, beansprouts (and in some cases ground chicken or pork) just like every other slightly cheaper eggroll in McHenry County, but I still love them, with their crisp, flaky, oily eggroll skin dipped hot into their packaged prefab fake-orange sweet sauce and that spicy yellow Chinese mustard that my mom so loved. As far as the service goes, there is a counter to order take-out and that's it. That said, the menu is huge: filled with many of the typical American favorites like 'General Tsao's Chicken', 'Orange Chicken', and 'Hot & Sour Soup'. My favorites were the Shrimp in Lobster Sauce, the Ma Po Tofu, and the Moo Shu Pork. I also enjoyed the shrimp Egg Foo Young, and the Singapore Noodles (very curry-like). This is a standard Americanized pseudo-Cantonese restaurant that will give you every type of mid-quality delivery dish that you could want. As far as the Ambiance goes - it's a 'take-out' place. NO SEATING.

The green beans I believe came from next-door in fact, and there is a picture of it. As soon as you walk in, it's really cute and cozy and people are immediately greeting you and are quick to also sit you down, which is great. There are quite a few people already eating dinner as well as sitting at the bar area too. There were also lots of pick up takeout orders. This restaurant located in a strip mall, so there was lots of shared parking. Great to see a lot of of the Japanese chefs behind the sushi counter. We did not get dessert here as the portions were very fair and quite filling. A few of the main entrées come with vegetables, and one of our friends was very familiar that you could substitute the vegetables with some type of tempura vegetables, and I think this was a great decision because what ended up coming to the table was a mishmash of vegetable tempura, which was delicious. My friends also rave about the cocktails here. So some of us had cocktails and some of us had tea. The green tea here is a little light, but it's still very hot and tasty. We did not have any desserts. But would definitely come back here again.

The eggrolls are absolutely delicious, and the fried rice is arguably the best in McHenry County...seriously that good! If you're picking up food, do yourself a favor and stop in at the bar while you wait. The tiki bar has this awesome, retro feel...like stepping back 50 years in time. It's a fun, laid-back vibe that makes waiting for your order part of the experience. If you're looking for more of a night out, the dine-in area is great too. They often have live music on the weekends, which makes it a really fun date night spot.
