Take-out from Panda! Hubby and I ordered the Panda Bowls with Broccoli Beef and Rice and Beijing Beef with Rice. Our kids got Cub Meals with Orange Chicken and Chow Mein and Grilled Chicken Teriyaki with Chow Mein. Our family of 4 had a great dinner! Cub Meals come with Apple Crisps and Juice! Great location, located in a great shopping center! Will be returning to dine inside next time! SYOY! :-) read more

Good location and the store is large with plenty of seating. Restrooms were clean (you need a code). The worker was nice and food was great, just like most Panda Express locations. We went during lunch time and there was hardly a line. My kids love the chow mein, orange chicken, mushroom chicken, honey walnut shrimp. Tip: download the app and earn points. I get plenty of free food since we order large party trays a lot. read more

I want to sincerely thank the employee and manager who went above and beyond for my order. I placed my order through the app, and somehow it accidentally got switched to be delivered tomorrow instead of today. As soon as I noticed, I contacted the restaurant and spoke with an employee whose name I unfortunately didn't catch. He immediately tried to help and contacted his supervisor to see what could be done or how to cancel the DoorDash order. To make a long story short, DoorDash refunded my money, but the supervisor still went above and beyond by personally making sure I received my food. It arrived warm, fresh, and exactly what I needed after a stressful situation. I truly appreciate the kindness, professionalism, and customer service they showed me. Thank you again for caring enough to help and making things right. Experiences like this are why I'll continue supporting this restaurant. read more

WARNING! Food does not have any flavor. One of the worst panda express locations I've ever been to in my whole life. They need new employees there. The food was cold and horrible quality. The employees are very stingy about giving correct portions. The employees lie about putting condiments in your bag when you order online. if you ask them employees to give you more condiment packets. They will have a fuss about it. if it was possible, I would give them zero stars. They are the most lazy employees that I've ever experienced with customer service ever. WARNING DO NOT EAT HERE!!!! read more

Food was great/Fresh, Calvin was awesome! And always very friendly every time I go in.

Great location and wonderful staff! Everyone is so kind and polite, they are generous with the portions, and the restaurant is always clean and inviting. This is our third time at this location and we drive a little further because it's worth it! read more

Food is yummy and always fresh. Staff and service is very friendly. Nice and clean location with plenty of seating inside. Nice bathrooms. Lots of menu choices and very reasonable prices. I made a yelp account to leave this review! Been to this panda growing up all my life. I live in orangevale. this panda has always been good until about a year ago. Every time I go in for just a plate they are always out of something. I see 3 or 4 people waiting. Today I was in a rush and seen that there were no customers in panda. I process to go inside and get two plates. They were out of steamed veggies. The manager told me "almost done." I said I would wait. waited 10 minutes. too long to be saying almost done to customers 10 minutes is a lot of time in fast food when they are the only customer in line at the time. anyway by the time veggies are out the orange chicken runs out I then have to wait another 10 minutes. Panda corp. think you need to do something about management for this location. currently your review rating is at 2.4 . that is one of the lowest rating in orangevale/ fair oaks. wake up or lose business. read more

The food is good and fresh here whenever we come. The thing I hate about this place is that the line can be out the door and they hold up the line to make online orders. I stood there the other day and watch like 20 entrée orders come thru online, the employee grabbed the stack of printed tickets and the line wait for 15 minutes for them to do the online orders. read more

Let's start here I came in at 6pm all workers chitchatting as well as the chef ! Most of The food bowls were empty so why do I have to wait 20 min for the chef to throw it on? This location needs better management and understanding of the term fast food. I won't be coming here again. read more

Can someone please explain to me why these clowns have 8 employees on shift, a line out the door, and only 1 person working on serving the customers? Is it really that important to have a girl wiping already clean countertops over and over? read more

You would think that a restaurant that opens at 10 am would be ready to serve you. Not here. I went at 10 am to order food to go and guess what? Not a single item was available to buy! They said it would be 10 minutes until they had some things. I ordered and it took 30 minutes before I got my food. If you open at 10, you better have everything ready to buy. Prep the food at 9:30! By the way I was the only customer in the place. read more

Really decent fast food, and front counter staff is always friendly and helpful and considerate. My only suggestion is last time I was there. There was an argument between two of the workers about doing their job and cleaning pots and it shouldn't have been visible to the customers this argument. read more

Food was of Panda Express quality, service was average. Nothing spectacular, nothing bad to say.

Panda Express on Madison in Fair Oaks is a good Panda location. The place is less crowded than some locations but they are doing a good pick up business too so the food gets eaten and more made often. The restaurant is very clean. The workers come out to clean tables and the floor often. The seating area is good sized as is the ordering area. Napkins and straws are out to use but you must ask for forks and chopsticks. The food is super hot and fresh here. The orange chicken was especially good. Maybe because it is almost the 35 year anniversary of orange chicken so it is promoted. Still, it was sweet yet not too sweet. The super greens were crisp and fresh. The Beijing beef was superb. Excellent little kick but again hot and just made. The teriyaki chicken came with sauce and was tasty. They have brown rice at this location. So yummy. Parking is easy in this little strip mall so you can grab and go or linger for a bit ; either way a space is available. We will return read more

Dissorganized and out of order. I placed an online order at 630pm to be ready by 650. I got there a little early and there was a huge line, but i could have had my food a lot faster if i just stood in line. Someone asked my name (after i already let them know i had arrived) and watched as they put my order together immediately AFTER they knew i was there... What is the point of online ordering if it isnt helpful to the restaurant or the customer??? read more

Thank you to the guy who handed me my food and the sincere amount of food I received. I am very thankful.

So my son got a settlement check and a paycheck so we decided we go to our regular Panda Express treat. Well $126+ dollars later they screwed our order up. We had them read it to us, we paid and they said they'd bring it out. After about 5 minutes waiting they brought it to us and we left believing the order was good, we ordered: 4 large orange chicken 2 large fried rice 2 large chow mein 1 large teriyaki chicken 1 medium orange chicken 1 medium teriyaki chicken 1 medium vegetables 4 chicken egg rolls 1 apple roll 1 large ranggoons 1 medium drink We got: 3 large orange chicken 3 large fried rice 2 large chow mein 1 large teriyaki chicken 1 medium orange chicken 1 medium vegetables 4 chicken egg rolls 1 apple roll 1 large ranggoons 1 medium drink My wife went back with the extra rice that was supposed to be an orange chicken, and to get the missing medium teriyaki chicken and explained they screwed up. The lady said, "I personally put the order in the bag and it was right." My wife said,"Why do we have 3 large fried rice if you did it right?" She replaced the rice with orange chicken and said she wasn't giving her the medium teriyaki chicken and walked away from my wife. So they screwed us out of the medium teriyaki chicken. So we check the recipe over and found we were charged for a large vegetable for the medium we received. We have been going there for 11 years and now realize if they screw your order up they will not make it right if you leave. The food is usually good there but their customer service definitely needs work. She basically called my wife a liar. IF YOU GO HERE, DO NOT LEAVE WITHOUT CHECKING YOUR ORDER AND RECEIPT. They turned a happy moment for my son into a disappointment and his mother disrespected. This is what will kill take out for over paid asshats. Kara R, you failed.‍ Randahl read more

Cheapskates on the servings. We buy the family meal typically and months ago we noted that a couple of the boxes were not filled all the way. We assumed it was a one-off. But today's purchase of the family meal revealed that this must be their new cheap standard. ALL of the boxes were only 3/4 full - even the rice?! Come on people! We will be trying another store even if it is further away. read more

Don't try to come here any later than 8:45. Apparently they close at 10 but are so concerned with closing the store that there is no food left. they tell you they are all out of everything. You close at 10, of course your gonna get a rush from 9-10 at least put food out. It's a bit frustrating cause then your waiting 30 minutes for them to make some egg rolls.. So, we've gone to this Panda Express for many years and our satisfaction with this location came to a screeching halt today. I don't know what happened with the training of their staff, and execution of simply providing people what they've been charged for. I can only speculate that the suits that make important decisions at the executive level for Panda Express have decided that jacking up their prices to almost ridiculous levels isn't enough, but encouraging their staff members to rip off customers by filling up food boxes only 3/4 full for the sake of their bottom line. Such a disgusting tactic! We certainly weren't going to drive 45 minutes one way to go back and complain, so Yelp was our only alternative. Today's simple order was an absolute failure on every level, including that fact that our chow mien was chopped into tiny little pieces. What nitwit makes such decisions? Needless to say, we will not ever visit the Fair Oaks Panda Express again. There is a great Chinese restaurant down the street from this Panda Express, that is by no means inexpensive, but at least they give us full portions for our money. They will be getting all of our business from now on. I would encourage anyone considering stopping at this Panda Express to avoid them. A simple Google search will direct them to a much better option. read more

We had a rough day and our daughter (4 years old) was throwing a fit. Erin helped us and she did so amazing. He helped our daughter calm down and was exceptional service. We are regulars at this location and haven't had any bad experiences, but this definitely deserved recognition. We love this Panda Express! The food is ALWAYS good. Very consistent. Walked into this location at 8pm to order take out for my family. They were just about out of everything except for orange chicken. The few items that weren't cleaned out looked like they had been sitting there for over an hour or two. I asked if anything at all was coming out that would be fresh so I can request it regardless of what it was and the joy in the two employees eyes when they told me it would be 20 minutes or longer because the person who would make it is on break was priceless. Incompetence and mismanagement is one thing but taking joy in doing your job poorly is absolutely disgusting. Chose a different restaurant to dine in and will NEVER be back to this location. I love the food! I mean it's a fast food Chinese food place but it does taste very good. I personally like green onions though on my Chinese food. I ask for a side of it and always get it from this location. I even bought a $30 gift card from them when they were offering a deal because I knew I'd be ordering from them. Well, that leads me to tonight. I ordered a 2 piece meal (sesame chicken, black pepper chicken and chow mien). I order it online and pick it up and ask the lady for a side of green onions and she emphatically said NO. Has your "green onion" policy changed?
