Now I'll grab a Dicks Deluxe anytime of day, yet nothing tops off a night of boozing & chasing women like the taste of Dicks Drive Inn at 1:30 in the morning. THE DELUXE my favorite burger is a combination of 2 meat patties, lettuce cheese & sauce slapped onto a bun. The fresh cut fires made on the premises and served with either a Coke or handmade strawberry milkshake to cap off a prefect night. Well, only one thing better is when you've manage pull in special friend with you ( wink wink ) to share it with. Not much has changed over the years. Dick's has manage to keep a very basic menu with 4 choices. The Hamburger , Cheeseburger, Special & Deluxe are your Burger choices along with french fries that are hand cut from fresh potato's on the premises for quality. Ice cream scoops & milkshakes for those desiring something sweet or if your maintaining a vegan diet yet just wanna participate in the institution. Parking is on the premise so you won't have any worries about parking. Meals are served fast and hot. And on occasion you may wait in line but that's because others want what you want. Remember DICKS is so iconic the Sir Mix A Lot & Macklemore has shoot MTV videos here. Damn now I'm hungry so I'm off for the big tasty.

I actually like salty food, so that says a lot. Since I was already far away, I called to see if anything could be done, like getting replacement fries another day. The employee said she'd "let the kitchen know," but didn't really address the issue. When I asked again, she offered a 10% discount on fries next time, which felt pretty dismissive. To make sure it wasn't just me, I gave the fries to my husband without saying anything--and he immediately spit them out. I ended up paying about $30 for two burgers and drinks. A simple effort to make it right would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, this experience was enough for me not to return.

In long I've been wanting to try this place for a couple years, and having errands run late while we were in the area gave us the perfect opportunity to get in. There's not too much parking, but there IS an accessible spot by the door, and it's okay, anyway...'cause there's not too awfully much seating. 4 tables inside, 4 more outside, next to the pleasant whoosh of traffic on 99. I'd sit anywhere for this food, though. We had carnitas sopes, which were light and airy but still sturdy enough not to droop when you picked them up. Stacked so high with toppings that I had to wipe my beard after pretty much every bite. Carnitas had great flavor, and all the veg were tasting and chewing like they're super fresh. The quesabirria tacos were excellent. A little crunch and a lot of chew to the tortilla, great flavors throughout, and solid consomme. The salsa bar is kinda basic but does the job--pickled carrots, radishes, cucumbers, limes, couple other things. Red, green, and hot options in the cooler below the veg. The staff here are super nice, and the one single-occupant restroom is clean enough, huge for sure, and fully accessible. Narrow doorway but easy to pass through. These folks are on delivery apps and I see many breakfast burritos and other meals from them in my future. Most dishes are a couple bucks cheaper int-store, though.

I love all of the above, but I was delighted by how amazing their adobo fried chicken sandwich tasted. If you want something easier to eat that is less rich and messy than their popular lechon kawali roll, I would order the adobo fried chicken sandwich. It tasted super delicious, but more simple and easier to digest. If you want something more tangy and meaty in flavor, you might prefer to try their fili-bistek sandwich instead. For a starter to munch on, side item, or for an easy standalone snack, their lumpia shanghai is perfect for that or the sisig-style fries that you'll need a fork to more easily navigate your way through it. If sandwiches aren't your thing and you prefer rice dishes instead, their kawali bowl is a good one to try. As I briefly mentioned above, I really enjoyed their traditional-style halo-halo that I simply couldn't wait to eat last for dessert. I ate/drank it with my meal, which is actually not that uncommon to do. There are just a few steps you need to take to prepare it before consuming it. First, I kept the lid on (so that none of the overflowing precious ingredients spilled out) and I used my spoon to carefully mix all the ingredients around, reaching to the bottom, up, and around. Yes, seems like a hassle, but the mixing part is a very key and important step! For those who don't know, "halo-halo" literally means "mix-mix" in Tagalog (the main dialect in the Philippines). Once you've patiently mixed everything together, you can use your spoon to start eating it until it is no longer overflowing. Now, you can safely remove the lid without spilling anything and I then can interchangeably use my spoon and also sip directly from the cup. It's fun! ;-) Go to LASA and support an awesome small business!!! I live in Seattle. Yup, it's a bit of a trek, but it's so worth it!!! They have mouthwatering food, free parking, friendly staff, and relaxed vibes.

I got the lechon kawaii sandwich with sisig fries while my bf got the Longanisa breakfast bowl. The lechon kawaii sandwich was good, good crisp pork. The pork was a little bit too much on the sandwich (3-4 good little slabs) when I think the sandwich is good at 2 so it's not too overwhelming. LOVED the sisig fries tho! They really made these fries perfect and crisp with all the toppings. Overall, the food was a bit greasy but we still liked it! Need to come back for the halo halo and other items sometime.

The fries are crunchy, and the burger doesn't seem empty at all. It's quite saucy, but if you don't like a lot of sauce, you can ask them to reduce it. Sometimes, their burns a bit crispy, but I like it that way. I've visited about 10 times, and two times the fries weren't crispy, which was surprising. One time, the burger wasn't filled up properly, which was different from what I've had before. I think those three times were the only ones that didn't meet my expectations. I ordered brisket pho with extra meat to-go, and when I got home and started eating, things were normal at first. HALF OF THE BRISKET was good! And all of the noodles! I noticed that the other half of the meat had this strange texture that didn't seem normal for brisket but I didn't care until I ate some of it. It was terrible, it had no flavor, and the texture made it even worse that I had to spit it out. I still ate the noodles so that I didn't starve, but I left all the weird meat as you can see. Is this what happens when you order at 5:03pm? Did they purposely choose some of the leftover bad meat as the "extra" meat? Or was it maybe an innocent mistake? Maybe it's something normal that should be expected when you order 1 hour before they close? I don't think that one makes sense, though. I probably won't come back for a while and try out a new place instead.
