Today is December 2, 2024, and whoever was serving the window drive-through at 7:00 PM Eastern and 8:22 PM Eastern today does not need to be doing the window drive-through if you care about Customer Care and your customers. Both times the same dude never once said hello, never once greeted us, never smiled, and once he handed me my food, he just said, "there you go :-|" with a cold face, no "thank you for coming", nothing and I just did not feel like a valued customer. I used to love this place, but I don't go here anymore. The entrees are 80% dry rice and only about 20% of the entree, which is also dry. You're paying more for dried out food which is mostly rice or noodles and very little entree. This new place won't be around for long. read more

I've been going to this location since it opened and service is hit or miss. I only use the app to order and sometimes the workers at the drive through are rude if i arrive too early even if there are no other customers to serve. The food is always as expected and usually fresh. read more

Let's start with the 1-star is too much. Just came from this location. I was served by the manager Jean, who was not happy that she was working on Christmas Eve. Her service was poor and rushed. She got the order wrong, should have had 6 bowls only got 5. I ordered the beef with broccoli, but it should be called broccoli with beef. There was 4 pieces of beef. So, it is $8.50 for some noodles that taste like they were leftovers, some undercooked broccoli and 4 small pieces of beef. That comes under the heading of WTF!!! I got to say I've given it three stars because when you first open. Ty staff were pleasant. Everybody's new. That's great. Food was good then like my third visit the food really didn't seem to be so good anymore. Didn't taste as fresh. Didn't taste flavorful my visit tonight. The portions are about 60% of what you were serving if you are over serving by that much. Shame on you if you've cut your portions back by that much. Shame on you again. I was really excited for this Panda Express to open as the one in DeLand is god-awful and I just never ate there after my first experience. So please get your act together. No food ready, line looked totally unappetizing, most entrees were empty. 3:00 on a Sunday.

They just opened, and I know that alot of the staff probably are brand new, but I was overcharged when I went here. Went to the grand opening, ordered 2 plates which has 1 side and 2 entrees each.. Told them I wanted fried rice and a double order of shrimp for both which they gave me. Problem is, I realized when I got home that they charged me for a "bigger plate" which is the larger portion that is supposed to be 3 entrees and 1 side. That's not what I got or asked for. I'm guessing the guy that boxed the food wrote the wrong thing on the box and the cashier charged me for what he wrote... He seemed new, the cashier was experienced. I should have caught it at the time but there was alot going on. The shrimp is good... The fried rice is extremely bland. It seems like none of these places put any seasoning in the rice at all. They also do not have the beyond chicken which is a bad thing for people looking for more plant based options.. Yet other stores in the area have that. They seemed like they were not going to be getting the beyond chicken at all. Staff was friendly and they were overstaffed due to the grand opening. Don't know how often I will go here yet. We had come in several times knowing this Panda Express was new. Each time the place was extremely busy inside and out. Always plenty of food. Service was great but this time it was totally dysfunctional. Barely any food and no managers to give direction. Management was all eating together never taking notice of the failure going on. Long wait at drive thru which caused back ups. Plenty of employees but most were just hanging out. One girl taking the orders from customers and writing them down on takeout containers and lining them up empty so customers could pay, sit down wait for their orders. We asked if something was being made and when this one girl alone asked the cook he made rude remarks to her laughing. This poor girl remained pleasant and kept doing her best to wait on customers. I was a GM for several restaurants during my career and have never seen confusion like this. If management fails the team fails read more

We finally stopped by the new Panda Express in Deltona for an early dinner. As expected from a brand-new establishment, it was clean--sparkling, even. Unfortunately, the sparkle ended there. The kitchen/counter area was a chaotic swirl of bodies. I counted 12 people crammed into this small space, and I couldn't figure out what most of them were doing. It was like watching an improv troupe perform "Fast Food Frenzy." There didn't seem to be anyone in charge--unless you count camaraderie as a leadership style. The only person who looked like she might be running the show was a young lady at the counter. She was valiantly juggling customer orders while also trying to impose some semblance of order on the chaos behind her. She deserves a raise, a medal, or maybe just a nap. We paid for our food and sat down at a table. That's when we noticed the soda station was out of napkins. I mentioned it to the young lady at the counter, and she genuinely seemed concerned. She assured us it would be taken care of. Unfortunately, "taken care of" turned into a leisurely group exercise in avoidance. Several employees wandered from the kitchen to the dining area, breezing right past the empty napkin dispenser as if it were invisible. Eventually, someone half-heartedly tossed a few napkin packs onto the counter and walked off. Loading the dispenser, apparently, was a task beyond their pay grade. Around the same time, we noticed the trash cans were on the verge of overflowing. No one seemed bothered by this. Where is the manager? Or maybe there isn't one. If that's the case, I nominate the young lady at the counter--at least she's trying to make things work. And the food? Well, it was warm. Average Chinese fare, nothing to write home about. The prices, on the other hand, felt a little steep for what we got. Overall, we left with full bellies but little enthusiasm to return anytime soon. I would give it 0 stars if possible. I went in with my wife looking for something quick and close by. Well it was close. We sod in line for over 10 minutes and the line never moved. there were 3 employees filling orders, but they were handling drive thru and mobile orders. Not one employee was handling the line of people in the door. After about 15 minutes we left. So disappointing. read more
