I ordered several items to try and my favorite was the sandwich. The tenders I felt were a little too dry for my likely. The sauces are also good and most are easy to decipher but I ordered several a regular mumbo sauce and spicy and there was no label so hard to decipher which is which and they didn't taste to different. My overall temp was food was warm too it wasn't pipping hot as I would prefer. I was not a huge fan of the rice it looks appealing and promising but lacks flavorful. If I could 3.5 I would but sauce and friendliness of the staff is carrying this for me. I would return but would specify labeling, avoid the rice, and ensure everything is much hotter temperature wise.

It's probably been at least 20 years since I visited the original Ben's Chili Bowl in DC. When I…read moresaw it here at the airport I felt like I had to refresh my memory and see if it's as good as I remembered. The gentleman working the register doing the order taking was very friendly and helpful. The decor is pretty cool, comprised mostly of collages of photos taken over the years at the original Ben's, many featuring prominent historical figures. The spicy half smoke with onions and mustard was pretty tasty. I actually really liked the bite it had. The fries were okay, nothing special, and not a very substantial serving for the price. The girls working the grill and calling out numbers, handing out food were not friendly, nor were they helpful at all. Overall, not a bad experience. I won't hesitate to order a spicy half smoke in the future if I'm in the vicinity of Ben's Chili Bowl.

Been to this location a few times and they get busy. The food and service never suffer. Ben's has been around since the 50s with the very first location on Black Broadway (now U Street). They do more than just chili: burgers, dogs, fries, salads, and other sandwiches. The milkshakes are killer and super thick. You can't go wrong with a bowl of chili or a chili dog, chili burger, or chili fries. My boyfriend LOVES the half smokes (hot dog that's made of a beef and pork mixture). It's more like a sausage. It's easy to see why he loves them so much...it's because they're delicious. Next time you're flying in and out of DCA, check them out.

With an impressively high Yelp rating, I was disappointed to hear the new owners say the glowing reviews are from the previous owner (though I respect the honesty). Despite that, we really enjoyed our visit. The new owners live up to the legacy. First of all, the service is excellent. An older man makes the food and who I assume is his daughter takes the orders. Both are kind. At the end, she gave my daughter a granola bar for free. The menu is a mix of Korean food and the small market in the back sells Korean products and more. It's very fun to browse and pick up some snacks and treats. My daughter loved the juicy grape fruit snacks. To eat, we ordered the Japanese curry and milk tea. Both were full of flavor and made with love. "This is my new favorite meal of all time," said my daughter. She devoured the bowl herself! There's a small parking lot in front of the cafe. It's within walking distance from the Crystal City Metro.

Who knew that there would be a cafe in Pentagon City with this option? The interior is a bit cramped with many cardboard boxes piling up. We were able to order the food at the counter and waited about 5-10 minutes before the food was ready. BRAISED PORK OVER RICE (卤肉饭) - 15.49 Lots of rice, more rice than I could finish with the amount of braised pork belly they give. The pork was very fatty, which made it tasty and juicy, but it wasn't very saucy. There were two halves of a bokchoy and half of an incredibly boiled egg, which was meh. Still, I finished all the toppings and maybe a little less than half of the rice. I was full, but $15.49 for the food was not worth it. Overall, 3.5/5 but bump it to a 4/5 since there's a scarcity of food like this in the area. They sell other comfort Asian dishes too, like coconut chicken cutlet rice and Japanese eel rice.

I came to this store this morning simply because it is close to the car rental place where I was returning a vehicle. I also had a coupon that expires tomorrow. I ordered the McGriddle which was pretty good. I like this breakfast sandwich over others because the sandwich bun has some type of syrup inside which adds to the flavor. I ordered the McGriddle and small drink from the app, and my order was ready to be picked-up a few minutes later. The inside of the restaurant is modern and everything was nice except for the busload of customers who were also waiting for their orders at the same time as me.

The Cajun fries were good. The Cajun spice didn't hit like I thought it would so I added some salt. It is a great size portion and they were nicely hot. The burger I received had the bread tie at the bottom of the burger. Luckily I caught it before I took a bite. I also noticed a long strand of hair as well. I was a bit disappointed. When you order the chicken, you can choose the level of spiciness you can want, but it's not a big deal since the chicken isn't prepared in the sauce, it's given to you in dipping packets. The restaurant itself was interesting because at first appearance you'll think it's a fast-casual spot, but the furniture looks like it's from a lounge. Nothing bad, just interesting.
