Delicious food. Came out quick and the service was friendly! Plenty of seating inside. Came to get the lunch special, great deal! read more

Great food and service. Food was prepared in a timely manner. Recommend tomy friends

So I have never physically been here, but I have had delivery from them twice now and I have been happy with it! What I order is the wonton soup which they make wonderfully as well as the BBQ pork. I like to combine the two and have a nice and hearty wonton BBQ pork soup. It's the perfect soup for a rainy day! Some how it always arrives to my door in South Anchorage piping hot. read more

I remember way back in the 90s eating at Panda with my parents and grandparents. The quality was pretty awesome back then. The business was sold to someone that didn't end up taking care of the quality of the food. Within the last 10 years, the business I heard was sold again and the current owners are really amazing about the quality of their Chinese food. I had their dinner special, I chose Mongolian Beef with Sweet and Sour Chicken (I rarely eat beef and about ready to give that up for a pescatarian diet). Their special was $21.95 for the two dishes of your choice, plus egg drop soup, veggie fried rice, and an egg roll. You get a large portion for what you pay. It's a pretty good deal! The atmosphere is calm and quaint. I like the booths face the windows and you can observe the cars going by. It's almost diner style. If you haven't been here in a while, I would definitely give it a chance. read more

Ive come here since i was a kid and gotten the Mongolian beef every single time. We ordered at 8 and picked it up around 8:30. When we came home at 9 the "Mongolian beef" was a different color, taste, and shape. I tried to call 4 times at 9:10 since they close at 9:30 and no one picked up. I've loved this place for a long time and it's really disappointing. read more

Im here rn. The food is good and the lady is nice. I would come back again but I may never visit Alaska again for the paltry remainder of my life. I wish the employees here happiness and blessings, may their efforts be rewarded and their family healthy. read more

I'm not sure why this place only has 2.5 stars. That kinda kept me from coming here for a while but I'm glad I finally tried it. The food here is 10/10 and service was fast and good! I ordered the lunch special and got a whole plate of food for only $16. I am definitely coming back here again. Highly recommend! read more

We dined in tonight, for the first a long time. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive We shared a family meal and everything came out quickly and hot. We had a table full of really good food that we will return for more in the near future. The decor is a bit old and could use a bit of a refresh read more

I really love this place, but after ordering the spicy shrimp with Mongolian beef combo, I have serious doubts. Not in flavor but in their budget. There was literally 3 shrimp, not even spicy and a BUNCH of veggies... no one likes that. The Mongolian beef and fried rice that came with were delicious though. Very small amount of shrimp and rice though in general. read more

Panda Chinese Restaurant - The 2 shrimp I had left after eating 1 and a few bites of rice and beef. Tons of beef, very little rice and shrimp. - Chinese Near Me - Anchorage, Alaska

First off it was expensive. Secondly, I went through Yelp which apparently does not work so well..... The food used to be good. I ordered confidently. Hot and sour soup, sesame chicken, sweet and sour chicken, both with fried rice. It was all disappointing. The fried rice was an extra charge and was a very small container, the hot and sour soup was probably the worst I've ever had, it was VERY sour, and the egg rolls were pitiful. I will not be ordering from Panda Chinese again. read more

Love the Mongolian beef, I would say it was surprising super greasy. But it came with some bits of what I think is fried noodles with the Mongolian beef and it just made the perfect combo. We order take out, and it was amazing amount you got. read more

I remember when this restaurant was very good. I ordered kung Pao Chicken and Hot and Sour soup. The soup tasted more like egg drop although, it was spicy. I requested very light onion in the chicken dish and that wasn't honored. The dish was full of onion. way too much. The rice was good but skimpy serving. No fortune cookie. I don't think I'll be returning as, there are too many other restaurants to choose from that are better. read more

I would say out of all the chinese restaurants in town, this one is my favorite. The food is consistently good and comes out really fast after you order it. This seems like a family owned restaurant, their is a small staff and you usually always get the same lady waitress when you go in. The atmosphere of the restaurant isn't anything fancy but serves its purpose. I love to go here with my wife for good chinese food. Mongolian Beef is my favorite off the menu. read more

Love this place. I grew up eating here and now my kids order from there . !Mongolian Beef Orange Chicken is always on point

This Chinese food is delicious! I was hesitant to order based on the aggregate review score, but I'm so glad I did! This is some of the best Chinese food in Anchorage! It's a to-go or delivery only restaurant, but maybe they'll open up again for dine in. read more

I have never been there when they were not rude. It doesn't matter if it's take out or dine in, they treat you like an inconvenience. If 0 stars were an option that's what I would have chosen, literally any other Chinese place has a better atmosphere. Dismissive and rude. Nothing special. read more

This is the best Chinese restaurant I've ever been to the Mongolian beef is awesome the curry chicken was wonderful. I highly recommend this restaurant they have a ton of awards for really good Chinese food it is a definite must try read more

Food is only so-so. No seating inside restaurant at all. You have to pick it up yourself or have a delivery company do it for you.

Best Chinese food in Anchorage! I just wish the restaurant would open to the public again.

Didn't give 5 because they don't do dine in anymore. I hadn't eaten here since pre-pandemic, and going back today I expected to go dine in. We're two years and change into this, it's time to open the doors. Otherwise, the food was as good as I remember. It's straight up good Chinese. We made two orders and had our food to go in about 10 minutes. Lemon chicken and honey sesame chicken. Premo. I suppose they make enough off door dash and to go orders they dont have to have dine in anymore. Too bad. The food is good but I won't be back, until they open up their dining room. The point of going out to eat is to go out to eat, not find that two years post pandemic they are refusing to open their restaurant for dine in. That's my only complaint here. I'd love to support a small business especially in these economic times, but I'll just have to take my money elsewhere if I want to go eat out. read more

No more dine in available at this location. They closed off the front entrance so to order you have to place your order through a small opening at front door. The price is too much for the amount you actually receive. This used to be a good spot to eat but the place seems to be struggling. I wont be returning here, not recommended. read more

I'm so done with this place. The last time I ordered food the vegetables were RAW. The food was horrible. I'm done.

Ordered takeout broccoli beef, house fried rice and Kim Pao chicken. Lot of food for the money veggies perfectly cooked, bright green broccoli but not raw like Panda Express. Sauces were perfect and their house fried rice has a generous amount of all the goodies. read more

The portions were huge and I was excited! Sadly, the taste of the food was meh! The frying oil they used was old, so everything fried tasted of stale cooking oil. The other entrees were kinda lifeless and spaghetti noodles were used for the chow mein. I liked the hot and sour soup ok, and my son liked the orange chicken. We ordered delivery. read more

Basic Chinese food here. Nothing to talk about. Head over to Lucky Market for Chinese food, Anchorage

Panda Chinese Restaurant - Angel hair pasta with a few vegetables cut up. No flavor and certainly no Asian flavors. Very disappointing! - Chinese Near Me - Anchorage, Alaska

This is a great mid price point restaurant in the Midtown area. The lunch menu is delicious and fairly priced for the quality of food and is normally the time of day when we eat here. Just came here for dinner, and quality of our dining experience was even better. We ordered the fried wonton appetizers and they were perfectly cooked and not over fried. The vegetables in the wonton soup were crisp and fresh and not soggy like other places. For our entrees we ordered beef broccoli and the short ribs two person meal. Both were very flavorful and cooked perfectly, and came with chicken fried rice. There was way more food than expected and we expected and we had plenty of leftovers as you can see in the picture. We really enjoyed it here and will be back! read more

An outstanding chinese resturaut and probably the best in Alaska. The dishes are well prepared, ample and reasonable. They are open for lunch and dinner. Serve wine. Suitable for family. Takes credit cards. no senior or military discount! read more

Panda Chinese Restaurant - Panda late in the lunch hour. - Chinese Near Me - Anchorage, Alaska

If you get a bag from their delivery that's been opened or restapled, refuse it and call them to get your money back or order remade. First time ordering from them, restaurant called us 4 times to confirm our address; its really not that hard, especially for a delivery driver. The driver shows up, we have our food everything is good. We open the boxes and its not our order. Husband calls the restaurant to report it and the driver comes knocking on the door. We pack everything back in the bag and send it with the driver in exchange for our food. Makes me wonder what happened to that other order? Im sure the driver just delivered it to the customer unknowing that it had already been opened and sitting out on my counter. Luckily for "them" we're not dirty people. I wouldn't want food that had been opened at someone else's house, picked at and possibly sampled with dirty fingers...eww Well, the food sucks. We ordered extra egg rolls cuz..fat kid loves egg rolls tbh...the egg rolls were all cabbage with tiny bits of carrot, like leftover miso soup? Not a good egg roll. We got the combination appetizer platter, again not good. The pork was not very pork-ish I don't know how to describe it. Everything tasted burnt, greasy and really bland. A waste of $65 in my opinion. Ill stick with The Sweet Pink Pepper. read more

Used to be good. Covid may have ruined this place. Portions were small. Barely any Mongolian chicken or Mongolian beef just had extra stuff on the bottom other than the meat. Also order sesame chicken extra spicy . Was not spicy at all. just overly sweet.Ordered with fried rice got steamed rice. Online order was easy but food was ready in 5 mins. Normally won't complain about speed but 5 mins seems like they just have everything precooked waiting. Really sad for an old "landmark" in anchorage. Will not be returning. read more

I really like the food here. The offer some very nice combination dinners and I think most people could find something they like to eat here, The dinning toom is small and the booths cramped together so you have to be willing to wait . The parking lot is also very small. This is in my opinion the better chinese restaurant in town. read more

I've come here a couple of times and I still have not been impressed. Good service, food is okay though not quality. I don't think the flavors and consistencies of the sauces occur naturally in this world so I was a little concerned about what I was ingesting. The sauce for my vegetable dish screamed of MSG. It was a bunch of veggies, which for the most part were fresh, were covered in a clear gelatinous/glutinous liquid with red flecks, but only because I ask for spicy. My friend got the Sesame Chicken and it was overly breaded, but he said tasted good. Both meals were lunch prices of $8.95, and came with a choice of steamed or fried rice, wonton or eggroll, and eggdrop soup. Good price for a restaurant-served-chinese lunch, though I don't think I'll be back. read more

Panda Chinese Restaurant - Would you like a little lunch with this msg? Uhh, actually this is a photo of good looking food, just take my word for it... - Chinese Near Me - Anchorage, Alaska

I really like the teriyaki chicken. It's smoky char grilled. The restaurant is way over priced and the fried rice was half ass. Panda Express is cheaper and better quality... One time I came with friends for a sit down lunch and the food was better. But our waitress refused to sell us more than one beer each. She said we can't have more than one or we will get cancer. The chicken fried rice I ordered wasn't even fried rice, it was plain with some sort of meat just thrown on top, the pepper steak was gross and tasted like old oil. The steamed white rice wasn't white steamed rice at all. It was yellow and tasted like old oil as well. The sesame and sweet and sour chicken was cold and tasted bad. I wouldn't recommend it. The egg rolls were also chewy and soggy. I called in and the woman just laughed at me and my complaint. And I was told I don't know how Chinese food should taste. I'm the only one who called about the food in Years she said. Oh well at least I voiced how I felt about the food I thought tasted old and cold. read more

The service was excellent, but the food was just so so. The vegetarian delight was super bland, and the only vegetarian lunch option. My coworker had the spicy teriyaki chicken and asked for it to be spicy, but we think the server misunderstood, because it was kind of bland as well. Not the neatest restaurant on the planet either. But they were quick and at $9.95 for lunch, the price was good. read more

Above average food. I was looking for standard 3 star food at my hotel in between plane trips. Easy to order online, nice person called me to take my credit card. Said it would be 45 minutes for delivery it was 30. Secure packaging and good food, plenty of it. Fried rice wasn't great, my only downside. Everything else above average. read more

If you can eat in, the food is awesome. However they give you old crap that you cant chew if you pick it up or have it delivere.
