Don't bother going here ! It was awful ! Food was dry and tasteless. It was like the meat was cooked last week, dry, tasteless and disappointing . It was like dried ground beef, no cheese, no spices. The chili Relleno and the burrito was one had a wrap and one had a large pepper on the outside of the try tasteless beef . They tasted the same, both had dried dry tasteless ground beef and nothing else . I had to ask for hot sauce. I had the Le major and couldn't eat it ! Worst Mexican food I have had ever had -Service was lackluster - I barely got the menu and she a wanted to know if I wanted to order, no alcohol . Didn't even offer water . No condiments on the table to try to add flavor to the food. The waitress Never came back after ordering my beverage to see if I wanted cheese or salsa or hot sauce . Mary's grill on 183, California grill on Hwy 130 and Taco Riendo in Six mile are ten times better than pancho's in central . The meal was a feeble attempt at a Mexican restaurant, which won't be there long because of the "I don't give a damn attitude from kitchen to wait staff" for a few hours before. No one ever asked me if the food was alright . So yourself a favor and buy old El Paso taco mix because it's 19 x's better than Panchos in central ! read more

I haven't been there in a while. A few years, actually. The food had a very "watery" quality to it last time and I just didn't want to try again. Their crunchy tacos used to be really good. I've always felt you can judge good American Mexican by the tacos and chips they serve. And every place deserves a 2nd chance. read more

I went for my first time today around 4pm, not busy in fact didn't see anyone else-- so lady showed me to a booth. I sat down and looked at table hadn't been wiped down, I ask nicely to wipe down the table, and ask for a water, they didn't have any-- so still waiting on table too be cleaned, chips, salsa brought out, I said the still needs cleaning, so sat and waited nobody came back so I walked out, to never to return EVER! read more

My wife and I go to Pancho's fairly regularly. It is good food at a fair price. I usually get the Chicken burrito. It is by far my favorite thing for on the menu, but if you have a crowd or are very hungry I would suggest the burrito plate that comes with three different burritos. A favorite of my wife's are the quesadillas. She particularly like the shrimp quesadilla. If you are looking for a plate she would one of the plates with several options like a quesadilla, taco and rice or beans. Just picked what you like and you won't be disappointed. Really good food and service. Great food variety. Lovely atmosphere. I've been to a lot of local restaurants. This is what I like to do. Transportation is an issue. If they are bus accessible. I am in business. If I can walk to them it's better. Hiring a car is an issue. I highly recommend taking in while walking and the flowers and paintings. If there is covered out side seating. Pets are welcome along with a covered smoking area. I would like to visit one more time to get an accurate rating. read more

We really like Pancho's. When the place down the road closed (not that great but scratched the Mexican itch when we were in town) we searched and stumbled across this gem in Central. It has not been busy at all the few times we have been there which is disappointing as I want these folks to do well. Nice staff...courteous and takes good care of us without being fussy or annoying. The food...really good. The enchiladas are excellent. Fajitas are excellent. Even my daughter's simple beef soft taco was excellent as the beef was not greasy at all and very well seasoned. This restaurant is the best kept secret in all of the surrounding areas of Clemson. I have gotten the tacos and they were delicious! Last time I went I got the pork Carnitas burrito. It did not disappoint! I have told all of my friends about this place. All of the servers are knowledgeable of the menu and very polite and efficient. They help each other out.the ambience is very comfortable as I like to go and sit by myself to read a book and I could not be more comfortable. I cannot wait to return! read more

Everything at Pancho's tastes fresh and awesome and is not greasy or heartburn-inducing. The service is insanely good and the whole place feels like you're over for dinner at someone's house. If you go, it is non-negotiable that you get tacos. Super affordable and food that will make your heart sing. I've been here with my friends multiple times, because we can't make ourselves go anywhere else. The fact that it's located in Central also means it's not as packed as some of the Mexican food places in Clemson proper and I've never had to wait when I go here, which is not essential, but it is quite a BONUS (+10 points for immediate gratification). Food was okay but was slightly overpriced. The one star is primarily because of the awkwardness caused by a young man singing during our visit. Then once we started talking amongst ourselves at the table a very young girl came up to us and asked if we had ever been made fun of before and completely killed the mood for the night. This is one of the most authentic Mexican Restaurants you will visit in the "Clemson" area. I had the pretty basic shrimp fajitas but they were not basic in my book. Everything down to the quac salad, you could tell was fresh. In most Mexican restaurants you're lucky to get refried beans from a can.
