    Burrito covered in red sauce

Pinch Villas is our long-time favorite Mexican food restaurant in Branson. The food and the service is typically quite good. The chips and salsa are complimentary and very good. This time we ordered a chicken burrito and a ground beef chimichanga. Both were tasty. I was surprised that the chimi was covered in yellow cheese vs. white, but it did have a good flavor. The atmosphere is simple, Mexican decor.

It doesn't look like much from the outside but the food is very good. I was greeted and seated quickly and the one server/hostess was friendly and welcoming. Drink refills were quick to happen, which to me is the sign of the server paying attention. Chips were thin and crispy, salsa mild and chunky. My favorite combination! I ordered the enchiladas verde and was completely satisfied with my food. The presentation was impressive as well. I was not expecting that attention to detail. Even the rice and black beans were flavorful! Give this place a try!

Pros: Fun, colorful restaurant Friendly, fast staff Free chips and salsa Delicious shrimp quesadilla Vast menu Cons: Rice was lacking any real flavor Pricing seemed high Pro tip: Visit for lunch - less crowded and same great food

The place is hard to get into but worth it. We ran into many locals here and they love the place. I love good Mexican food and live in Chicago area so I know good food. This place has very good service and try the hotter salsa if you dare. I ordered burrito and tamale and wife ordered taco dinner. If thought the food was very good and they serve you lots of food, you will not be hungry after eating here. the chips they serve before you eat are made in house and very good and lighter than most.

The food is very expensive for the quality. You could tell the meat was old and had been reheated several times.

We ate here about ten years ago and it was great. Finally returned - yikes! Place is dismal and dirty. Food is tasteless.

Very Bland Tex Mex cuisine. Would try another Mexican restaurant if able in Branson. Was the first option we came across by Wonderscope.

Food was great, with generous portions. Very quick service. Parking lot is slanted so if you normally use a cane be sure to bring it.

The staff was all very courteous and very pleasant and helpful. The live music just added to the ambiance. The food was absolutely amazing! The cocktails didn't disappoint! You do go in that entrance and then to the right is the entrance to the restaurant. FOOD WAS PHENOMENAL! We started with cocktails of a Sidecar and a Ward 8. YUM...had to take it slow as they pack a bit of a punch on an empty stomach. I had the Baked French Onion soup as a starter. The Caesar salads were so fresh and good. No choice on the dressing, but it was very good with no anchovies and freshly baked warm rolls and butter. Our entrees were the 12 oz K.C. prime strip and the 16 oz prime ribeye. I had the loaded baked potato and hubby had fries. The steaks are seasoned so well that you don't need any further S/P or sauces. Cutting into them is like cutting into butter...incredibly tender. The topper of the evening was a Dean Martin tribute singer act starts at 6 pm. His voice is velvety smooth. We left so satisfied and relaxed. What a wonderful evening!

The poutine was fabulous. The fry coating was crisp and tasty and the gravy was full of flavor. The Reuben sandwich is outstanding! The way they cut that corned beef was nothing short of magic. An egg on there? What? I've never heard of such a thing, but yes please. And I had the brûlée corn; which I may need to learn how to replicate because I've never seen this on any menu in Chicago, but it's too far to travel as often as I'll be thinking about that dish! The old fashions were smooth! Went with vanilla and loved the subtle flavors. Everyone was so nice and the atmosphere was a delightful mix of old school pub/English castle. All of it was just what I was hoping to find. Food off the beaten path that deserves a huge shout out. In a town of bland flavors, this place shines like a real gem!

Sat in a comfy table with a padded pew close to the bar with our backs to the wall, which instantly put my hyper vigilant husband at ease (IYKUK). Chatted a bit with our kind server who was also a millennial, how do I know this? The eye contact and lovely snarky conversation. My husband ordered his med rare, which probably came out more med and not enough pink for his liking. Correction on my part, I got the mahi mahi with parmesan grits and green beans and I didn't even need to look at my pictures to recall, it was that memorable of a meal. Being early January a parking spot nearby was an easy find, I imagine though finding one come spring will feel like a miracle. I'd love to stay at the attached hotel but found it's already booked a year out. Doesn't surprise me, the old English charm with its stone and dark wood is straight up story book.
