Found this restaurant via the help of Yelp. If you've ever been to Branson you know you don't don't come here for the food! But we were surprisenly very happy with our visit to Pancho Villa! My husband and I shared the single beef fajitas which were absolutely delicious and plenty for two big eaters!! My kids had the sour cream chicken enchilada dinner that comes with three enchiladas! Wow. My 14 year old son who is a very picky eater, ate all three!!!! My son in law had the fajita beef burrito special and said it was great. The salsa is absolutely delicious and fresh. The white queso is awesome with a little spice! You must try their margaritas!! They are huge (get the large)and perfect. Not too sweet. They do have a special from 2-6pm, but we didn't get there early enough for that but we will next time! read more

So after exploring Branson , my family and I were hungry . So I always rely on Yelp to help us find a good place to eat . After reading the reviews for this restaurant ,we decided to stop here . I couldn't believe how many good reviews this restaurant got . First of all I ordered the chicken enchiladas . They were just warm , not hot . Like maybe they were just sitting in the kitchen for a while before they were brought out . The rice was dry and lacked flavor . Let's go back to the Chips and salsa . Salsa tasted like it came from a jar and it was cold . Ok now for my husbands order . He ordered Chile relleno . In English relleno means stuffed , so stuffed Chile . Ok , this was a joke . Under his Chile , was the ground beef that should've been stuffed inside the Chile . Instead the Chile was placed on top of this ground beef mound . I'm sorry but this is not authentic Mexican food . How do I know ? I'm Hispanic . If you want mediocre " Mexican " food , then by all means stop and grab a bite to eat . As for me , lesson learned . read more

Ate here for lunch with my family while on vacation and it was quite disappointing. The salsa was not good whatsoever. It tasted like tomato paste with chunks of onion cut up into it. I ordered a taco salad and it was quite underwhelming as well. The beef was not seasoned and there was no salsa in the taco salad...not that I really wanted it at that point seeing as it tasted horrible. The service....woof. Now, we did have 16 people in our party, but our server was just plain rude. She seemed annoyed we were there. Sorry for spending money at your establishment and inconveniencing you. If you're looking for Tex-Mex that is mediocre at best, this is the place for you. If you're looking for good food, I'd suggest you continue your search. read more

Stopped for a late lunch, early dinner. Decent service, one girl seating people, taking orders and serving food. She did well for being the only person. I'm sure the weren't expecting a crowd at 3:30 but people kept trickling in. I ordered tacos de asada, very generous with the steak and flavored well. One star is too much! The food honestly gave 2 of us major stomach issues. It frankly reminded me of a frozen TV dinner from the 70's. I rarely complain to the manager, but after a 10 minute wait to speak to him/her, we were ALL were ready to bolt! Too bad I didn't check Yelp before we went in. Shame on me. Not quality food. Basically they buy taco shells from a market at put beans in it. I didn't order but husband ordered Enchiladas. The cheese was whole and not melted. Beans dry and rice was last weeks. Not a great environment. But the waitress was nice and BEER WAS ICE COLD. So I gave them 3 stars for that. read more

Me and my family have visited this place many times in the past and we're very happy with food quality and especially the services. Tonight when we visited the service was horrible and very rushed with no personal touch. We had to ask for everything we received instead of being offered. When the food came out it tasted as it came out of a box. No flavor and stale. Dinner was way overpriced for the trash we received. The best thing on the table was a long neck bottle of bud light. Our horrible server never even stoped at our table as she run by and said anything else and keep walking. I'm not sure I've been at an establishment with such poor service in a very long time. We went to the register to pay I ask the waitress when this establishment changed hands and she tried to convince me it was the same owner for years. I know better we used to eat hear 2 to 3 times a year every year and it was the best! I simply laid the exact amount on the counter and stated "the only thing the sucked more then the food was the customer service" and walked out. Don't waste your time or money. Worst experience in Branson.. we ordered veggie fajitas and got tiny pieces of chicken in our meal (which my wife even ate unknowingly).. waitresses there have so much attitude and none of them wanted to aplogogize and take responsibilty.. instead all they kept on saying was that they dont cook.. pathetic.. even otherwise their condition seems miserable.. no one cares for refill for salsas and pepsi.. never met such a rude restaurant staff ever.. shame.. wish yelp had an option to give negative rating.. read more

Everything was just great as in: authentic enough, cold beer and prompt helpful service. Had a delicious platter and helped with the chimichanga my wife couldn't quite finish. It was done to perfection and will be on my next order. Highly recommended for mex-tex with a smile! read more

Good Tex-Mex. We are from Texas so we have very high standards in this department. While not quite Texas standards, it is close. Probably some of the closest you will find in Branson, at reasonable prices. Our server was fantastic. Very personable. She could be a host in a local show. Good margaritas as well. read more

We were pleasantly surprised by this Tex-Mex, we love Tex-Mex being from Texas, everything was hot, fresh, and tasty. My husband was very impressed with their hot sauce. Very good food. Waitress was extremely friendly and helpful. The fastest service ever. From the time we pulled in to the time we pulled out took only 20 minutes! Yes 20 minutes, no exaggeration. Last min reservation at hotel next door and it was nearly 9pm. Wife and I had the chicken tortilla soup for a late night light supper. Waitress was on top of things, chips were hot and fresh. Soup was a Large bowl, couldn't eat all, could have been little more chicken in it, but not really to complain. It was worth the stop. read more

Food was decent , service was very slow one girl working but didn't complain she's was doing what she could. The place was clean the only problem I had was a big one ! I was here traveling with my kids and grandkids and I left a cash tip on the table for the waitress who also checked us out after dinner. To my surprise when I get home and my credit card statement came they had added an additional $14 tip to my bill after I left and left a cash tip on the table. I immediately called and disputed charge with cc and then called the manager who was very understanding and apologetic and could see that it wasn't my handwriting, she called me back and said she was sending me a refund. I did receive a credit for the additional tip from cc company and the money order for that extra tip from the restaurant. But once the restaurant received the letter from the cc company the manager called demanding me send her the money order and gift card back even though I told her on initial contact that my cc company had been notified! Very unprofessional when I was the one victimized, be aware check ur card statements for this kind of stuff not everyone is honest anymore. read more

I honestly don't understand why they don't have more stars! The food was awesome! And the service was fantastic. They have lots of options so no one should go hungry and the whole family should have fun! It's a clean restaurant as well! I definitely would come back. read more

Horrible Service!!! Chicken made our son sick!!!Our waitress was the worst waitress we've ever had in our life. She was extremely rude and never brought us anything we ask for. We asked for 3 things, napkins, salt and sour cream all at once so we would run here and she did not bring any of it. I had to get up and get things and ask another waitress. She never checked on our food, she gave us dirty looks, and spoke disrespectfully to our 2 well behaved polite sons. The food was not very good and one of the kids got sick from the chicken. I would never ever recommend this restaurant! My husband is a waiter at a Mexican restaurant in our town and I had been in the business previously for over 12 years so we know how to treat customers and how to provide excellent service. We like more authentic Mexican so probably order different than most people. The salsa is good not the best but far from the worst we have experienced and our waitress was very friendly and timely. I got the chimichanga special and my date got the chicken, beef & shrimp fajitas. We were both extremely satisfied with our food! Doesn't look like much from the inside or outside, but really solid Tex Mex. I got the carnitas which was really flavorful and came with a ton of food. My parents got the carne asada and beef and chicken fajitas and both really enjoyed their meals as well. Our server was a little inattentive and stood really far back from our table which was kind of strange, but we didn't need much from her and I prefer someone who doesn't constantly hover so it was fine overall. A huge party of teenagers came in part way through our meal though and were extremely noisy. Not the restaurants fault, but the dining room wasn't huge so I can only imagine what this place is like during the summer when Branson's at its busiest. Food was excellent and hot! My husband is picky about mexican food. He got the mexican plate with 3 enchiladas, chicken, beef and cheese. Chips were fresh, and salsa great. Their credit card machine does not work properly. I got charged twice for the same meal. I went back the next day, they took my name and number to call me back. They said it's an error and their credit card company will refund the money in four days. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. Don't bother going here....it's just like any other Mexican place....except the decor of this place seriously needs updating. read more

Margaritas were fantastic, but the food was just mediocre. I had enchiladas and a taco, all kind of tasteless. The taco tasted just like what they served in the high school cafeteria...We also sent back the yellow queso because it was NOT good at all, and exchanged it for white, which was only marginally better.
