Ambiance: 5/5 A very cute date night spot for some Mexican food. Service: 5/5 Food: 5/5 We love their Carne Asada! It comes cooked the way you want, smokey, and has all the ingredients to make your own tacos if you wish.

This was my first time going to Pancho Pistolas with my grandfather. As soon as we went in we got a table and got serviced. The staff were very friendly and helpful when I was placing my order. The establishment was clean, well lit, and had a lot of space in the restaurant. The food was amazing! I ordered Pollo a La Tampiqueña, which was delicious and the presentation was great. I thanked the waitress I had she was very sweet and told her to thank the chef in the kitchen for the food. It was a pleasant experience for me I was craving Mexican food from a Mexican restaurant instead of eating at home and this definitely hit the spot. I would and will most certainly recommend and I will myself be coming back soon. :) Thank you Pancho Pistolas!!

    Mixed fajitas: chicken and steak

This is a smaller restaurant. Plenty of on street parking with meters. The chips and two types of salsas were amazing. We got some guacamole - order this!!! It's so fresh and tasty. I also had a sangria which was decent but stick to margaritas or water or other soft drinks. I shared the fajitas with my Aunt and it comes with the typical sides (no cheese though) but everything was excellent. The chicken was amazing. Service and pricing and variety were all fantastic!!! This is a repeat for sure!!!

Came here on a warm day outside and sat out on the patio with my girls. We ordered margaritas (not pictured) which were okay, but nothing to rave about. The service itself was good - our waitress was aware and made sure were were good. There's street parking all around so no issues there. It's a pretty small spot just a heads up. Alright now let's talk about my food! I got a steak gordita and omg it was all made to perfection. First off I LOVE that it came w cheese, sour cream, & guac - my 3 top tier things needs w Mexican food. Might I add the toppings tasted fresh. The gordita I can tell was made w fresh masa that day - if not I'm so surprised! Now the steak - YUMMY!!! And it was a good amount for what they gave. I'd return again to try more food out especially since I'm not too far.

I was immediately greeted and seated upon arrival. The friendly waitress brought a basket of chips and salsa while I perused the menu. I decided on ordering a margarita and steak torta. The margarita was quickly served and tasted sweet and refreshing. Also, one was enough to get me feeling relaxed. The steak torta arrived no more than 15 minutes later. I have eaten many of these sandwiches at many different establishments so allow me to adamantly insist that this is the best! However, in order to keep the cost down you might notice the steak to bread ratio is wanting. I can use less bread so I just move all the steak to one half of the sandwich. You can also order extra steak if money is no object. The restroom is clean and comfortable.

This was my first time coming here. It's a cute little place! They came right out with our salsas, two types pico de gallo, and regular salsa. Our waitress came out with our menu. She was very nice and attentive ! Our food came out pretty fast. I ordered a enchilada Suiza dinner with green sauce, With guacamole, tamales, and a peach margarita. Their guacamole was delicious not overly salty! Just really good!! I love enchiladas with mole sauce and they do not carry it so I had to get the green sauce on my enchilada Suiza's. It was good! They gave me a nice layer of cheese on top. I enjoyed it! My mom did too she got the same but had chicken instead of steak. The only thing about the dinner was that the beans were lightly scorched. We told the waitress who offered us extra rice. It happens but that's why I had to take a half a point off. The tamales were moist and delicious! My peach margarita was delicious. My mom got a Pina colada. It was alright. It was a mix. You could taste that it was like that artificial pineapple coconut flavor. I wouldn't order it if you are a Pina colada connoisseur! I am so I had to take a half a point off. I really enjoyed this place and will return!!!

Its gonna be a NO for me. How can you have Mexican food and it be bland? And not be able to make good margaritas? Smh yeah I really dont even want to write this review. First of all the service is HORRIBLE. Early afternoon on a Tuesday only about two other people in there and about 8 ppl working and they were all standing around acting like they were too busy to help if it wasnt their section. (see pics attached) They were on their phones, talking to each other, etc. The food was bland, and just meh. I ordered the shrimp fajitas, my date had the fried burrito and taquito. Beans and rice were nasty, the salsa and pico was watery, the guac was a bit ok and those margaritas NO! I wanted a spicy marg and they gave me a side of jalapeño's cut in circles that I had to chop up and put in my own marg and they didn't have any good tequila's. How sway? Too sweet, not tasty at all. Where do people usually eat Mexican at that they think this place is so good? I WILL NEVER GO BACK

We stood at the door for about 20 minutes before someone finally told us the wait would be 1-2 hours. Keep in mind, the place is pretty small and already crowded, so there's barely any room to stand while you wait. After getting on the waitlist, we decided to go to a nearby spot for food--but not even 5 minutes later, we got called back saying our table was ready. When we returned, we were seated along the wall in a very tight space--so tight that if I stretched my arm out, I would've hit the person next to me. We noticed a large table nearby had been sitting for a while without food. When their food finally came out, it made us realize our wait would probably be even longer. After another 20 minutes passed and we still hadn't been able to order, we decided to leave. I'm not sure the space is fully ready for the rush right now--it feels overcrowded and service is slow. I'll give it another try once the hype dies down. I'm happy for their success, though--just be prepared to be patient when you go.

Starting with margaritas (because obviously ‍), queso and chips that were dangerously good, and the chicken empanadas that came out perfectly crispy with so much flavor. We kept looking at each other after every bite like "okay wait... THIS is the best thing here" and then another plate would arrive and prove us wrong again The carnitas fried rice??? I genuinely cannot stop thinking about it. So savory, flavorful, comforting, and packed with crispy carnitas on top with the eggs and pickled onions... literally unreal. And then the skirt steak tacos absolutely stole the show. The steak was cooked perfectly, packed with flavor, and paired so perfectly with all the toppings and sauces. Every single bite tasted fresh and homemade in the best way possible. And can we talk about the ambience for a second because WOW. The music, the energy, the vibe inside, everyone celebrating, the drinks flowing -- it felt like the perfect Cinco de Mayo dinner spot. The service was also AMAZING from start to finish and made the entire experience even better. There is no parking but a garage across the street along with metered Street parking. Beware parking cost $46 for about 2.5 hrs. Entrees were steak and shrimp for me, and Tampiquena for my friend. In both dishes, the steak was done to perfection. The sauce that came with my shrimp was spicy and deep--lots of flavor layers there. Both of us took home portions of our meals because there was a lot of food on the plates. Finally, the service--the servers are attentive without hovering. If we needed something, they were there, but never intrusive. It is hard to believe this is a little neighborhood spot, given the service and the quality of the food. It was not too busy tonight--we ate early--but I recommend reservations.
