What a huge disappointment. We ate here a few months ago and loved it. Tonight was not good. We started with wedge salad and that is excellent. Ordered 2 Detroit pizzas and they were all dough. The pepperoni was good, so no worries. The vodka chicken had no taste and even worse, only a few pieces of chicken on one piece of pizza. To make matters worse, our server forgot to add my daughters dinner and never came to check on the table, so I finally flagged her down yo tell her. She said it would be one more minute until I asked if she forgot. She did. Nobody came by the table and she presented the check saying "I'm sure you don't want anything else" which was true, but not the best service recovery. Did I mention that 2 pizzas took 50 MINUTES to come out after ordering? And they were not busy AT ALL? As luck would have it, I was asked about the food by another customer as we were walking to the car. I told them not yo bother, as it was a train wreck. Maybe the manager or owner had the night off. Don't let the front entrance fool you. This was amazing food, excellent service, and great atmosphere. The waitstaff was very friendly and accommodating. My granddaughter wanted a meatball to go with her kids pasta. They gave her an enormous Italian meatball right on top! I wanted my sausage calzone with without peppers and add mushrooms. No problem. It was done and was one of the best calzones I ever had. The sauce with it was Ligit crushed tomatoes. My wife had a grilled chicken salad and that was freaky amazing too. Had company on Sunday and decided to get pizzas. Have not have much luck on Merritt Island lately so went here as we've acquainted with PPB. Called early since it was an order for thee pies. Got a 16" NY Classic Cheese, 16x16" Cheese Pan Pizza and 16" Carne. All were great and guests loved them all. Meat pie was not overly topped and stayed thin and crispy. I was visiting and decided to take a to go order from here. They normally dont allow calamari to go because it will get soggy in the box they let me know that but I said ill be ok with that because I'm eating it right then and there in my car. The pizza was perfectly cooked with a nice crunch, plenty of toppings, however just a tad bit too much buffalo sauce. Calamari was very good. Overall experience was great. Good service, everyone enjoyed their meals. If you're part of a large group, this is one of the few places in the area that were able to accommodate a reservation for a larger party of almost 20. Most other restaurants told us it was first come, first serve. The restaurant was pretty spacious inside with booths, bar seating, high and low top tables. Our wait for a Wednesday evening was a little longer than we would have liked. My son received his pizza well after everyone in the group already finished up with their meal. However, to their credit, our server told us up front to expect a wait given the # of staff working on the pizzas & they could only fire up so many pizzas at a time. The first time we tried the pizza, we picked up. My partner said he LOVED the pizza. Our usual dinner night, Tuesday, they're closed, but we really wanted to try eating in so when we got the opportunity we were excited. Our meals took over an hour. Ppl who came in after us ate before us. The place WASNT crowded either. My chicken dish was supposed to come with potatoes but they were out and I had to settle for linguini which isn't my favorite. It was disappointing to say the least. When we were OBVIOUSLY finished, waiting on the bill, our server was busy doing her checkout instead of dropping off our check and we had to wait additionally for her. We went in at 7 and didn't get done until almost 9. I didn't say anything, just chalked it up to a small kitchen with supply issues. But did not plan to eat in the restaurant again. Then yesterday, my friend and I were going to a play while our sons and their friends had a sleepover so, we ordered pizza for them from the pancetta website at 5:18, which uses slice as the primary option. Others are also available. At 5:26 I rcd a notification from slice that one of the pizzas was canceled, their upside down NY style pizza isn't actually available but was STILL on the menu. I tried to call the number given by slice but only to get a busy signal over and over so I called Pancetta directly and told her just to make a cheese pizza with all the other toppings. The pizza was never delivered! My son and his friends had to call my partner for another cc and go pick it up. So, I tried again this morning to contact slice but again got the busy signal. Incensed at the overall situation, Pancetta leaving a menu item on their website that was no longer made, and slice not delivering OR answering, I called Pancetta for another number. Yes, I was upset, but I DID NOT CURSE or use any vulgarities to vocalize my disappointment and frustration however, the young woman who answered couldn't handle an irate customer so handed me off to someone, I'm assuming a manager or owner but he never identified himself. He immediately got on the phone and preceded to gaslight me, telling me ALL the reasons in which it was NOT their fault, "this is the world we live in now, with all the other problems going on in the world a pizza delivery is pretty small! " " We have no control over delivery drivers they sometimes show up early and just leave" I could barely get in a word that wasn't immediately followed by some excuse as to why they bear absolutely no responsibility. I'm clearly an upset customer with negative experiences with their time management, but instead of saying that they were sorry that happened, we're trying to work with slice and the other drivers to improve our service, I got "wasn't me!" I don't know if they have teenagers or experienced the newness of having driving teenagers, but it IS a big deal that they had to leave their fun to drive over the bridge to CB and pick up the pizza that was supposed to be delivered. If you're aware of the awful track record of the delivery services maybe put a PSA on your website AND give ppl realistic delivery times since SIX pizzas causes a massive slowdown! Oh and UPDATE YOUR MENU! The guy did give me his direct number to slice and all was taken care of financially however, I will never go back or recommend the place because I don't like my frustrations being minimized or dismissed as "no big deal" and pawned off to a delivery service that YOU use on your website when the entire ordeal was predicated on a menu item from YOUR site not actually being available. And if the guy had LISTENED to me he would've heard that part my story but instead he talked over me and gaslit me. Bottom line: service is abysmal, it takes forever to get your food if there's more than 6 tables seated, and if you have an issue, they'll just tell you "we're small and can do absolutely nothing to make it right," so take it. I gave them a 2 instead of a 1 star because the pizza IS good if you can get it and not be gaslit along the way. read more

The search for pizza in Florida continues and this was a great stop. Just moved to the area and was out shopping, passed by the Pizza Bar and realized it was midafternoon and we had not eaten since breakfast. Bopped in, of course it was quiet, but everyone was just so damn friendly! Order a 16" Carne pizza; a great example of the eyes being bigger that the stomach. But right on! Nice thin crust, good portion of meats and cheese and I'll tell you that after years of delivery and take out having one fresh and hot was a treat. I had some local craft beer which was decent but I just need to remember that most of these tend to be hoppy, not really my preference. The ladies were really very nice and attentive. Went in with 5 adults and a 4 year old. We did have to wait, but it was Saturday night, so to be expected. The service was a little slow, but still gave 5 stars because the guys making the pizza. They saw that our 4 year old in the group was fascinated with watching them make the pizzas, so they showed him a few things and gave him a piece of dough to work with himself. That piece of dough kept him occupied the rest of the night at the table. That was awesome of them!!! We got the calamari and bruschetta for appetizers, which were very yummy. Calamari was perfect! We walked across the street well visiting the Ron Jon surf shop and we received great service, food and prices. I mean it is in a strip mall but don't let that fool you. Absolutely under no circumstances should you order any sort of delivery food from this restaurant. We ordered from uber and the driver told us that the staff was complaining about having to do uber and DoorDash because they were too busy so they intentionally "wait" to do all the to go orders in hopes that people "will stop ordering" from their restaurant. Confirmed this with a phone call to a staff member. Any pizza place on the beach has better attitude and service than this place. Avoid avoid avoid. read more

We order pizza for carry out. It was fast. If anybody likes Detroit style Pizza I would recommend not getting it from here. We've had this type of Pizza and it does not resemble that style. If you like crust, center and sides 2" thick then maybe this is for you. I feel they can do a little change here. All bread. The topping stuck to the top of the box when we opened it. We needed to scrap it back on top of the pizza. We also ordered Proscuitto wood fired pizza. that was much better but too much oil added to the top over the arugula. I'm not sure what kind of pizza we would order from there again. Definitely not Detroit style. read more

My best friend and I are visiting on a vacation and found this right down the road from our hotel. We walked in and the place was very busy it seemed. We waited about 5 minutes before being seated. Once seated, we were not waited on for our order for about 10-15, seemingly being blatantly ignored. Once we placed our food and wine order, it took about 20 minutes before we got our wine. We ordered small caesar salads that seemed to be rushed to be made and contained some questionable pieces of lettuce. We then didn't get our food for about 30 MORE minutes. At this point, we had been in the restaurant for almost 2 hours. When it was time to pay, our waitress needed about 3 prompts to get our check. Our check was rang up wrong for the wrong glass of wine, almost double the price we planned to pay. When addressing it, the food runner was really helpful and discounted it as much as she could without needed a manager approval (Where is the manager on a Sunday night?) Our waitress didn't help with this and kind of just shrug her shoulders at it being incorrect. I will add, this place was extremely understaffed for the dinner rush and was ill prepared to cater to that many families. But, our espresso martini we got was AMAZING, so not a complete flop. read more

Best hidden gem in Cocoa. Located in an older strip mall, you might miss it if you're just driving by. Doesn't look too enticing from the outside. But we decided to give it a try while we were in town for vacation. So good we went twice. First time we got a large house salad and NY style carne pizza. Second time we got another pizza (Philly cheese steak) and the chicken Milanese. Both nights pizzas were outstanding and cooked perfectly. Salads were fresh with what tasted like homemade dressings. The chicken Milanese is some of the best I have ever had. Service is friendky. Wish this restaurant was in our hometown. We would eat there all the time if it were. read more

Came here 6 months ago and had a delightful lunch at the bar. I talked this place up to my wife numerous times till we finally decided to go.. 1st attempt, called in and with no exaggeration was told "it'd be best for if you didn't come in tonight, we are just too busy".. Sure this was your hosts first job and was not trained on proper phone etiquette. I still talked up the food and we decided to try again. 2nd attempt was successful on arriving. We get to your establishment at 6pm on the dot this Sunday.. waiting to be seated, we don't have anyone come to the front till 6:10. The whole time we are making awkward contact with the bartender not saying anything to us, just stares over at us. We finally get sat with no apologies, nothing(got a happy hour menu at the table that ends at 6pm..), just a "2 for dine in?" Keep in my mind we are over the top nice people. We are not shook yet. We get sat down I think at table 131 (knowing this cause the bartender and the one server there were having a nice conversation of who should take us after we sat there with no water/drinks or a welcome for 15 mins more. If you're keeping track of time with me here on this story, almost 30 mins without feeling welcome. The server had 2 tables of 5-6 tops. And maybe 2 or 3 other tables of just couples. The 2 bigger tops already had their meals. My wife and I at this point start running low in energy. Alittle before 630 our server comes up and asks if we are ready to order..... dude, not even an empty apology or excuse. Just straight up nothing. It was wild..still we are nice.. we order our food and drinks all at once. . I'm gonnna try to finish this up but trust me I can go on. We wait 10 mins to get our unsweet tea after ordering. My wife ordered a pasta dish and added mushrooms. The food came out and 10 mins after we had it sitting in front of us already stir crazy from all the waiting I got up and asked if we can cancel the mushrooms. This is the first sorry we got and they brought the mushrooms immediately after that moment cause they were just sitting in the cooks window.. this was the absolute worst service we ever had. Our servers voice was going out. Is she solely your only server?! You all are just having some bad months? Side note: food was great! Just wish it was a better experience to obtain it. I've been wanting to write a review since we left Sunday night, I decided to sit on it, trying to look at it from a different viewpoint and honestly, it just still sucks. Think we have decided there will not be a third attempt and I hope your great menu/location/cooks get the front house they deserve in the future. We ordered and my husband picked it up. It had no mushrooms and was full of peppers. I called thinking I was given the wrong order, no I was told by panchetta. It's all slices fault you ordered through slice and they have the wrong description. But I went through pancettas website to get to the online menu. anyway all that I can say is don't Ever order online from them as it doesn't match their own secret in house menu. Two and a half stars, really. I really wanted to like this place. Based on so many positive reviews it looks like many other people are liking it, but the whole experience was mediocre at best. We only ordered a mushroom pizza and soda. The water in the soda tasted weird and the tomato sauce on the pizza tasted slightly metallic and definitely under seasoned. The crust was good when it was hot but as it cooled down it wasn't as tasty. It also took a LONG time to receive our food and I felt like I wasted too much of my evening here.
