Took our youngest here for a little family date after hearing on a local social media page that this place was a bit of a hidden treasure when it comes to pizza. They weren't wrong! From the moment we walked in, you could tell this was a truly locally owned place with original recipes and a real love for the people they serve. Our server Reesa was incredibly kind and attentive. She somehow struck that perfect balance of being there whenever we needed something without ever interrupting our conversation as a family. That's not always easy to do, but she nailed it. She also made a great recommendation for us. We ended up getting a half cheese, half New Yorker pizza, and it was fantastic. I was planning to stop at two slices...that plan did not survive. And definitely don't skip the garlic knots. Super fresh, rich with garlic, herbs, and flavor, and absolutely worth adding to the order. If you're in the north Melbourne area and haven't tried this place yet, do yourself a favor and stop in. Great food, genuinely kind people, and the kind of local spot you're glad you found. We'll definitely be back read more

For a nice quick bite of pizza Genna is a great option. This place will give you the quick pizza experience, large slices, plenty of options and all without breaking your wallet. A 24 inch pie is more than enough pizza for a large group of people almost guaranteeing leftovers for later. The pizza is good but don't expect the best pizza in the word. The slices remind me of the quick dollar slice in NYC. A soft crust, plenty of cheese, just enough to fill you up. The shop is what you would expect of a typical small business pizzeria with plenty of seating and a front row view into the kitchen. And the wait staff is accommodating. Allowing us to change our pickup order to dine in at the last second. A good option for a good cheap pizza night! read more

I was so excited to eat pizza here because I've heard great reviews about their pizza. I pulled into thr parking lot and wasn't sure if they were open. Although they had an "open" sign in the window, the glass is so tinted, that the business looks abandoned. They have two separate doors which makes it confusing coming in. I walked to the counter and was immediately greeted by a young woman. She took my order and said I would have about a 10 minute wait. The staff was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. I ordered two plain cheese slices. They were made in a fireside oven from scratch. The pizza was very good and filled with flavor. The sauce was a little to heavy and acidic for me, but had a good flavor as well. read more

Fantastic pizza with a variety of Italian menu items in the menu. We got a 14" The Godfather coal fired pizza for our first visit here and it was exceptional. The pizza was prepared and fired within view of the dining room and the brick pizza oven is full of that hot fire glow from old world traditions. Our pizza came out fast due to the ultra hot oven, and the fire char on the crust was one of my favorite parts. We will absolutely be returning. This pizza place is located in a plaza with shared parking. I saw customers grabbing carryout, dining in and eating quickly at the countertop bar. Check about weekday lunch specials such as 2 slices & a drink. read more

You make fresh Cannoli and STUFFED Zeppoli and don't have coffee??? Not even Italian coffee, just regular brown coffee... Seriously... When we're OTB on the mainland, Genna is the PFP (Place for Pizza) and soooo much more. The Coal fired pies are amazing, the stuffed garlic knots are insane, their regular oven pies are equally top-notch, and the traditional Pizzaria atmosphere is pure Patchogue, NY read more

I have to say this place is absolutely amazing. I saw the man on Facebook eating meatballs that were stopped in garlic knots and had to go and try it. I stopped today after work and had the garlic knots which are huge. There are three huge garlic knots with meatballs, I ate a half of one and was full. Turned around and ordered the Stromboli because it looks so good took a bite and I'm taking it all home. Dinner for days but I'm telling you this place has great food. I cannot believe that I have not heard about it before. Service is great. The waitress was super nice and the ambience is quite comfortable and quaint and they order pizzas that are Firestone, food is delicious and I can't believe that I have not been here before. If you haven't tried it you better step up and go. The food is delicious. read more

Our server was so kind and patient with us. It was our first time there. We took a while trying to decipher the menu and asked a lot of questions. The place is on the smaller side but feels homey and not cramped because of the service. The food was delicious. We are New Yorkers and side leaving, haven't had a Sicilian slice in forever. Definitely gave the feel of home. read more

Outstanding food and service. Dined in at the main location tonight. I had been hunting a good Detroit style pizza with that lovely caramelized/burnt brick cheese for a minute and didn't want to drive back to Orlando for it - reviews showed that Genna was worth a try and they were bang on. I got pepperoni, Chicago sausage, mushroom, and onion and a side of garlic knots with Alfredo sauce. Perfectly cooked, PLENTY of toppings, cut into four HUGE slices. Needed a bigger knife to cut the thing. Service was very kind and friendly, attentive and efficient. My tea never even got halfway empty before she was refilling. It's a trope at this point, but like the governator said, I'll be back. The website doesn't make it clear but there is seating at the restaurant for dine-in and they were playing Delilah on the radio so the vibes were excellent. read more

This place knows how to satisfy a man like me. I love sausage, and the more the merrier. When I come to this restaurant I am filled up with sausage. Johnathan and Bradley love to provide me as much as I can handle, and man I do not complain! When they lay it down I'm thinking "this is it" but no, I'm watching them give it to me more and more, and oh boy do I feel it later! Thank you Genna's for this sausagey filling! read more

Genna was incredibly busy when we arrived on a Friday evening, but everyone was very courteous and helpful. We started with a plate of garlic knots with red sauce, which disappeared faster than we would have liked. My husband and I split a house salad, which was good but unremarkable. We ordered a smaller margherita pizza for our son and a larger Manhattan pizza with pears, arugula, and pepper dews for me and my husband. Both pizza were very good. Both the dough and tomato sauce at Genna are exceptional. The pear base on the Manhattan was a little sweet for my taste, though I eat a mostly sugar-free diet. The pears were balanced out by the spicy-sweet pepper dews, so I would get it again. Our son is a cannoli expert, as he has had homemade cannolis in over a dozen bakeries in New York and New Jersey. He likes the one at Genna best. My husband got a couple glasses of Merlot to go with our pizza, sand I was happy with their large selection of bottled IPAs. read more

This is our go to pizza spot. And I am surprised I had not reviewed it earlier. Recommend looking for their flyer. Has really good coupons. This night we had a salad, mozzarella sticks and an 18 inch pepperoni pizza ($27.99). We added garlic knots separate from the coupon. Mozzarella sticks were good with hot marinara. We shared the house salad. The lettuce had a purple hue to some of the pieces but it was cold and we ate it. Not bad but not the standard we have grown used to. Pizza a came out and was very hot and fresh. They use a coal fired oven and the bottom of the pie was pretty dark burnt even but not really sure if it was just coal dust. The staff is very attentive for how busy this place gets. Lots of take out and every table full of folks. That should tell ya something. Protip. Some of the best wings in town. read more

Stop using platforms like UBER if you cannot handle the business. This is the second time I've ordered and gotten something completely incorrect after waiting an hour for my food. This tells me you are spread too thin and can't handle it. read more

I'm sure the menu items have not changed that much, but it appears now that the quality of Genna Pizza has taken a hit recently. They are not putting enough mozzarella cheese on pizza and online there isn't an option for any extra cheese. Online ordering for this restaurant is difficult now. Also the prices have changed...just be aware of that. The crust has a great flavor but the extra charges are a question mark for me. I will go back, sometime. But, I won't be going as usual because of these things I've noted. I had to give 2 stars. read more

Place was hopping n a Monday evening at 7:30 PM. Dining area full with a variety of ages of couples, families and friends. Two phones constantly taking orders and delivery folks picking up in a steady stream as well. Menu is truly Italian and there are GF options for pizza dough. Nice variety of starters, salads, pasta dishes, pizza and desserts. Had an eggplant parm sub which was on a nice sub roll and perfect amounts of cheese and red sauce but the eggplant was very thin, overcooked and tough. The roll was too large for the portion. Got the Monday cheese pizza special recommended by one of the staff manning the phones and registers. They stayed on top of everything including communication with the cooks. Will definitely be back to try more dishes. read more

If I could give them more stars I would. Let me just say the grandma is amazing. Top of the line as a pizza conniseuor. I'd drive the hour for it from Orlando without a question. Also if my son likes it, picky mini me that he is I try to spoil the whole family. Yesterday I go in since it was the last day of my detail and I decided to order a pie for home and a slice with extra cheese and pepperoni to hold me down for the oncoming 12 hour overnight shift close by. So I asked for my slice well done with the cheese a little brown on top and when I got there that the kid said my order was ready, when he opened the grandma pie it was gorgeous... almost picture perfect. When I see the slice it wasn't brown enough for me so the kid took it back, ten minutes later he goes to check and nothing... so now I'm getting annoyed and the owner hears me mumbling and says what's the problem... so I explain the whole ordeal and he says I'm a pizza guy... I gotcha.. boy did he ever get me. He gave me the one I wasn't happy with that was still tasty, a replacement while explaining " the expert techniques with ovens and so forth". As well as the grandma. Awesome experience . I see they take care of you. Can't wait til I have to work in Melbourne again. read more

If I could rate this restaurant on just its customer service, I would give it a solid five. We phoned in an order for a small pizza and two slices of Sicilian pizza. When I arrived the very conscientious waitress checked the box and realized they had forgotten to put cups in to prevent the cheese from adhering to the box. Before I could say a word she informed me they were making new slices and because the small pizza would be cold, they were remaking that as well. That is how you get a repeat customer or it would have been had the pizza been better.. I am not sure how they get all these rave reviews but the pizzas we had barely raised above the "meh" level. There are too many other places in Melbourne to try because this was not pizza nirvana. It was barely better than frozen. read more

Depending on what you get, the peaches are pretty good at the regular store not the express. I would definitely recommend ordering a fresh pie as to opposed to getting only slices because the slices tend to be laying around and are dry and a few ask them for extra sauce they charge you. I've never had an actual meal there. I've only had sandwich sandwiches the chicken Parmesan sub was tasty but it lacked more chicken and a little more sauce. They're a little skimpy and putting the chicken on the sandwich. This wouldn't be my go to restaurant for a nice hot sub pizza. Yes but not subs. Mitch! read more

Our go to place for pizza whether it's take out, delivery or dine in. My grandson always says "Charlie makes the best pizza!"

I will admit despite its popularity, I have never eaten at Genna Pizza (Company) until it was a locale on Geocaching's TMNT Pizza Geo-Tour created by the Lefferts Family. So far, all of their pizza stops have been phenomenal and with the exception of Marco's, all of them are local. I must give my regards to the Leffert's Family because Genna Pizza (Company) is phenomenal. It should be noted I came in along with my friends, Paula and Patrick, right after the 17th Annual Geocaching Picnic-In-The-Park at Wickham Park. The event had BBQ but we were hankering pizza, so that is what we got. Let me tell you, the two flavors of pizza we got were just perfecto! We had to start off strong so we ordered garlic knots. I usually discern how the rest of the meal will be by how they make their knots. Are they too big? Are they swimming in a pool of oil? Details like that. Though a bit bigger than my preference, the size was okay but the flavor was good. Not to mention, the bread was soft. I can already see why this restaurant has high marks among my fellow Yelpers. The pizza, we were told we can get half-and-half so that is what we did with the Manhattan and New Yorker. We split it up with two slices each and I have to say, WOW! The flavors matched perfectly with what you ordered and the biggest surprise to me was the Manhattan which I thought would be "too green" or "too vegan" for a pizza. Glad I was wrong. Trust me, try it out and see how delicious it is! We ended the meal with their version of sugar donuts which looked a lot like beignets. Good but I must stress they were no better or no worse than any other similar dessert at other places. A good powdered sugar donut is good no matter the locale. On a sidenote, the bathrooms were clean and well-stocked and the restaurant staff was attentive and friendly in terms of what you'd expect at a good restaurant to eat. Not Chick-fil-a service grade, but you don't have to be such as long as you're good. Chick-fil-a service grade is for those who want to... well... stand out. In conclusion, Genna Pizza (Company) will get a solid and surefire four out of five stars. As I mention in my other reviews, the fifth star is for consistency. Ergo, when I return and the food and service remain consistent as per my initial (this) visit, then Genna Pizza (Company) will earn its fifth star. P.S. - Genna Pizza is the fourth location on Geocaching's TMNT Pizza Geo-Trail. With that in mind, there is a geocache close to the restaurant, the fourth in six along the trail. read more

Really???? Reservations for 6:30 and didn't receive our first of 2 pizzas until after 8:00pm, and it was only barely warm. The second pizza arrived when all but one in our party of 5 had eaten. Incredible pizza! Incredible staff! The wait time can sometimes be lengthy for takeout orders, even when called in advance, so be certain to allow plenty of time. Ugh. This place is just hit and miss sometimes. Tonight (6/30/25) it's like they had someone new in the kitchen. My bbq chicken pizza arrived with basically an entire bottle of bbq poured on top. It was soaking wet, could not be picked up, too much to try to sop up. It was disgusting. The other pizza was the meat lovers and it just didn't taste like it normally does. Like the ingredient quality had changed. At least they arrived hot, our last order arrived cold and had to be heated up to be edible. I probably won't be ordering from them anymore. STAY AWAY!!!!! DON'T ORDER HERE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE ANYWHERE IS BETTER!! this was the last straw we have not order here for years because of the service burnt pizza and lack of any care and said we would never ever ever go back!!! BUT Moved into an apt complex was told i got a free pizza all you had to do was tell them where you moved . so we get all settles have thrown the box away weeks ago because it was an empty box and was told it was just a symbol to say you get one that you don't need it to order. call tonight to place a BIG order 4 pizza apps and other items would have been over a $100 for delivery and thought i would just get the free pizza now.. was told i had to give them the box and HAD to pick it up regardless of the size of the order. This is one of many reasons we stopped going here! they always tell you an hour 2 hours later you get it. they burn it half the time. staff is rude and make comments when you have been standing there well pass the promise time and asking where its at and every 20 min you get told 20 more min. BUT i thought since we had a free pizza we would give them ONE more try.. Well they suck and blew that. If you want over priced pizza that is burnt and rude staff this place is for you! THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE if i could give them negative stars i would. They can take there FREE PIZZA and stick it where the sun don't shine and i hope the cheese burns it!
