I went to purchase bread and it was a bad experience since the beginning. The lady that helped me asked me if I was done on one side because I had asked her for bread on the other side, twice. She seemed bothered that I was asking questions about the bread and all I asked was if the bread had filling. I asked if I can have a box since the bread was for an event and she said there were too many people waiting for her to put the bread in a box. I mentioned that's fine I can put it in the box but if I can please have a box. She ended up not giving me the top to the box. I always ask small businesses to give me their card so when I take food for events the people can see where the food was purchased. But I didn't ask for theirs due to my experience. I will not be returning to this place. I rather drive 15 more minutes to avoid ever experiencing this again. read more

Went in this morning and the cashier tenders out the order, only to short me change. I think she thought I didn't understand her because I ordered in English, but I know what nueve cincuenta y cinco means. Quite frankly, numbers are basic things to know in Spanish. So when I gave her a $20 bill, she gave my change back, I had my hands full of pan dulce and champurrado so I trusted the cashier as any, walked to my car gripping onto my money for life, finally sat in my car and counted the change back. $8.50 ! This is my favorite place for mexican sweet breads and pastries. I've been coming here for several years and I've always had excellent customer service. Staff is friendly and the bread is delicious with a large variety to choose from. Prices are very reasonable, today I bought 18 pieces for a family get together and paid $22. My family loved them. There is a wide selection of breads and small cakes as well as drinks. We opted for the conchae, bollilos, and flan as well as tres leches. Came here late In the day not expecting much to be left as it was late. They had a full assortment of pan dulce and then bakers in the back where busy cranking out more tasty baked goods. I came at the right time as only one person in front of me. When it was my turn there was at least 5 more people waiting inside and out. Ordered a variety of pan dulce and all have been tasty and moist. The carrot cake was nice and moist and not overly sweet with the frosting. The conchas where super tasty and had an almost buttery taste with each bite. Seen a lot of reviewers about service but it seemed okay to me. Unfortunately for this past weekend for my fathers 60th surprise party the cake was supposed to be his surprise. I love how beautiful the cakes are on their Instagram and i was planning on ordering one for December 3. Ive been trying to put the order in for A MONTH already.
