One of my favorite street taco places in Simpsonville. I wish the menu was in English too. The tacos are always good.

Can I give this amazing hidden treasure 10 stars? I stopped by for curiosity and found the most delicious and authentic tacos in Downtown Simpsonville! The menu has all the tradicional Mexican items and the stuff is very kind and courteous. Amazing value, very affordable I could not believe how inexpensive! There are freshly made "aguas" and deserts in the fridge. I

Great cheap Mexican and Salvadorian food. Their pupusas are very tasty and good size. I also recommend their tamales, sopes and huaraches.

Meat was good. Allowed you to get your own toppings for your tacos. You could tell the bakery items were baked daily.

Food was very fresh and tasty. The prices are very good also. The deserts all self serve and change often. I will return.

TL:DR - Good food, great portions at a very reasonable price…read more The restaurant is very small which means once you get a seat, you get great service. The chips were fresh and hot, and the salsa bar had many choices, but they weren't labeled so must ask or, try them all. I had the fajita burrito combo and it was almost as big as my head. Shredded iceberg lettuce, sour cream and rice on the side. It was a bit heavy on the beans, but it was well-balanced and quite tasty. My friend got the fajitas, and he said they were really juicy and held their temperature throughout the meal. Highly recommended and rest assured that you'll have another meal the next day.

Then this is the place for you. The waitress did not know some of the liquors at her bar. We ordered table side guac and it was not made at the table but rather back in the kitchen and brought out to us. I ordered a mushroom quesadilla and it came with mushrooms onions and tomatoes My dining companion ordered huervos rancheros And it tasted like there was way too much excess salt. Our waitress never waited a moment to see if we had any further questions as we had to flag her down for the check and to order. Then she left the check and ran away even though we left our credit card out to pay. We had to go find her and walk up to the bar and pay for our meal. I do not leave many one star reviews but I will not return to this restaurant... I will make a special trip to the one on Haywood road.

Our waiter was a superstar- in talking with him he shared he was from Ecuador and made suggestions for our lunch choice. We started with the beef and chicken empanadas- very good- and an order of maduros- ripe plantains. We should have stopped there because I was almost full at that point. For our entrees we chose shrimp mofongo- which we really see in small cities being that it is the national dish of Puerto Rico- and the paella for one. Both were wonderful. I would argue that the size of the paella should be be renamed as a lid of a trashcan serving. It was giant and we barely put a dent in it before asking for a to go box. I highly recommend this spot!

The only thing I'd change is using fresh-caught shrimp to give it more of that seaside flavor. The whole red snapper with coconut sauce was also full of flavor. We really enjoyed the mango and guava juices, and the tres leches dessert was amazing! Definitely a highlight of the meal. Other things we liked: the decor was nice, our waitress was a friendly young lady who made the experience pleasant, and the restroom was very clean. Overall, a solid spot for tasty Latin dishes and a comfortable atmosphere.
