We come here for the empanadas and buy them by the score. Our favorite are the chicken and sometimes they're super spicy, sometimes they're fairly mild. We eat them fresh the day we picked them up and they're lovely and creamy, then we let the others cool down and we freeze them. It's a perfect go to meal when all you have to do is pop it in the microwave for a delicious fast lunch. read more

The cashier doesn't understand rounding and tried to short me about 25cents. I understand that's not a lot but I know if I'm short that amount I won't get service. I wouldn't mind if it was 10 cents or something like that, but a whole quarter? Then when I tried to explain it to here it was like I was speaking another language or something. She then proceeded to tell me well this is never happening again (as in she would not give me my change or round to the nearest nickel).I wonder how many other people she shorts on change. Then she speaks in this other language(not Spanish) and I'm pretty sure she was talking smack by her demeanor and since I just proved she was wrong. Highly recommend their Pastor, Chorizo, and Carnitas tacos and they were all excellent. Ordered my daughter a Tres leches cake for her birthday over a week in advance. I paid when I ordered it. Total was 65.00 Fast forward a week I go into pick up the cake to find out it was never made. Great cheap Mexican and Salvadorian food. Their pupusas are very tasty and good size. I also recommend their tamales, sopes and huaraches.

This place has the best Menudo in Greenville. I drove to Simpsonville from Greenville the last two Saturdays for their soup. It's amazing. I get tamales there on my way to work in Fountain Inn and they are amazing. Good prices and service and the owners are so nice. Love this place. read more

Limited options on the menu, not vegetarian friendly. Staff wasn't as friendly which was disappointing. The food was great, I ordered egg and potato breakfast tacos (apparently as a special request) since they don't have this on the menu. I like this little place ! Their Tamales are huge for a really reasonable price ! Red pork are my fave, but green pojo are good too ! The bakery selection is straight out of Mexico ! Never ate in the place, but takeout of Tamales and desert is definitely my recommended strategy ! Enjoy ! read more

Coming from a true Mexican. Do not come here. Right from the get go the customer service was bad. Almost put me in a bad mood. The girl was talking to me like I was wasting her time. Whatever I was hungry so I ordered three tacos anyway. I get my tacos with no cilantro or onion. I find onion at the salsa bar but no cilantro. I ask for cilantro and looks at me like I'm a peasant and says it's there's no more. I take a bite out of my taco and the salsa has a sour taste to it like it's going bad. I take another bite and yep the salsa is old!! I finish my two other tacos without salsa. The bread looked good so I got one. The shizz was stale!! I bought $50 worth of tamales for our Xmas Eve dinner. It's my wife's family tradition; they lived in Southern California. Nobody liked them, dinner was ruined. They were 90% masa with very little meat. Ended throwing what was left in the trash. My fault for not trying them first but I was short on time.
