Still they have some hard to find items or produce that we like to have in the house. I sometimes pick up the pre-prepared bibimbap veggies and some herbs and perilla leaves. Also maybe mugwart (sometimes I don't know what I'm getting but my SO does and she points it out so I know what it looks like but not what it's called). Recently I could not find a certain type of seaweed anywhere else but Komart had it. It's never crowded and service has always been helpful for me. I have not eaten at the little cafe. I always stop at Ajumma after Komart and get some kimbap or soondae to go.

I did notice they have a nice variety of bagged, flavored corn snack balls. I picked up the melon-flavored ones to try with my family, and we all thought they were good! They also have a food court, although the options are somewhat limited, similar to the grocery selection. That said, the food looked good, and I'd be interested in trying it next time. After exploring the store, I still prefer my go-to Asian supermarkets in the DFW area, like H Mart and 99 Ranch. However, I do appreciate that they offer items on sale. That's definitely a plus!

We came mainly for the food court, they had Japanese, Chinese, Nicaraguan, African/Caribbean. We ordered from China Factory which you have to order at the front register then they give you a ticket to take to the food counter. Overall the food was good, not very crowded here.

It was warm and muggy when I walked but it isn't a big deal. First off, you cannot compare this place to HMart!!! They are completely different grocery stores because this one is 100% Korean and it's older. It is clean but it could be cleaner. All items sold at this store are in Korean and a little bit of English. There are English speaking people here (not a lot of them) however everyone does speak Korean which is fine by me because the staff were very very kind! Also, they do not sell fresh herbs or produce. Most of their food sold are packaged or frozen which come straight from Korea. They do have fresh meats and fish but I personally wouldn't buy meats here. All the fresh produce that they have like apples or Napa cabbage which aren't kept in coolers. They are on the floor around the open freezers which was odd because the store itself was not cold, it was warm throughout the store and I went here when it was 50 degrees outside. There array of numerous choices of frozen products are AWESOME! I will come back to buy dumplings and kimche and the selling point of this grocery store is that the prices are GOOD! for authentic imported Korean products, prices are so reasonable which is the best selling point of this place. Overall, I would go back just to by prepackaged and frozen food.

I love that there is a Filipino store attached because they do sell stuff that the asian market near us doesn't sell and it's very specific. The restaurant has a lot of potential, the food was authentic and tasty. They have a small stage for performances and karaoke. With proper marketing I can see this as the place to be on a Friday or Saturday night. Our meal was comp'd which was great, just like to disclose this. We didn't get much because it was pretty much my wife and I eating and my two kids wouldn't each much, so they could just share. We got lumpia, chicken adobo, pork adobo, dinaguan, and pinakbet. I don't usually eat dinaguan and pinakbet, but I had some and it was delicious. It's Turo-turo style which is cool but if I was someone who was unfamiliar with Filipino food, which is a large majority of people in DFW, I'd have labels on the food or even have some samples that people know, ur pancit, Sinigang, sisig. The food was really good as it stand the most authentic tasting food in DFW. Please give them a try.

Staff must not spent time in this section unless necessary. When I entered the restaurant section, an employee took up a table on the far side to work. Walking toward the ordering line, the large printed menu with covered prices caught me off guard. Without prices nor descriptions, the menu was useless. Eventually, I saw the actual menu behind the counter. Without descriptions nor photos, I had to make an educated guess. After confirming with the cook that lechon was pork, I ordered the Lechon Kawali. The dining area was spartan. The tables were a combination of picnic benches and four-tops. When I went to grab napkins, I noticed the utensils were plastic. On the plus side, they had knives which eventually came in handy. As I was the sole customer, my order came out very quickly. The kitchen employee started my order before she approached the register. The food was served in styrofoam containers, the fried pork in one container and the rice in another. The sauce was served in a small plastic container. The sign by the register puzzled me. Once customers submit gratuity, it can not be refunded. Why would diners require that warning? Not as interesting, signs by the trash cans request customers to bus their own tables. Fortunately, due to the styrofoam containers and plate, that was a synch.

Just this morning I stopped at the Walmart Farmers Branch location at the corner of Josey and Valley View Lane for a few things I needed. This place is usually always very easy to shop in, and the few interactions I've had with the employees there were always positive, as they are always friendly and willing to help. Well today, I was blown away! I used the self-checkout like I always do, and when I scanned a bottle of the Equate brand of Dayquil, the usual age verification popped up, prompting a clerk to override the request. I am way older than the 19 years of age required to make this purchase. A friendly middle-aged man came by, smiled and greeted me, typed in his credentials, then walked away. For some reason, the machine did not want me to buy the item, so I flagged the nice man down and told him what was happening. He tried several times to get the item to go through, and even called a very nice Hispanic woman, who tried assisting but she could not make it work either. The nice man turned to me and told me he is comping the product as I had to wait all that time. I WAS FLOORED!! Exceptional customer service is a rarity in this day and age, let alone mostly non-existent in a Walmart. This made my day!! Thank you Walmart, and thanks to the manager who went above and beyond!
