They actually use Serrano peppers inside the bun and boy is it a fiery kick! It's addicting and I always order extra. Came here after a dentist appointment with my daughter and it was great! Lots to choose from in terms of donuts and kolaches but they also have breakfast items like waffles and pancakes. We ate inside because she had to go to school right away. Service was fast and great. Plenty of indoor seating and parking. We will be back. read more

Place is a little run down dosnt look like any money goes into the business. Also I live nearby and have been here a couple of times. Takes about 30 minutes to get anything made from their breakfast menu, and never any selection for the donuts. It is currently 7:30 and they have no donuts ready. read more

The donuts are amazing--soft and fresh. My favorite is the apple fritter; it's crisp on the outside yet soft and fluffy on the inside with generous apple chunks. horrible service, long wait times even when you're the only person there. additionally, my mother went and ordered a coffee and the owner was rude and did not want to give her the creamers that came with the coffee (it was paid for). it seems that the owner has an issue with hispanic/latinx customers and i'm unsure why seeing as it's run by a poc. this is not the first time they've acted strangely when the customer is non-white/of american origin. would not recommend if you want to be treated with human decency. ***update*** 5-2021 I've returned a few more times and had the bacon breakfast croissant sandwich added a sausage patty for a little bit more $ and it was delicious. Picked it up to go and it travels well. The breakfast taco, was a large portion and grilled for a little crunch. It was very good, stuffed with potato, egg, cheese, onion and I had bacon. Literally one of my most favorite breakfast places in Carrollton! They've been making my order for a business meeting on Thursday mornings for years. Very reliable. And the woman that owns it is so kind and so respectful and just loves customers. She just is one of those old school get it done right loves customers people. I'll post some photos later. The food's pretty good. It's pretty simple cuisine it's just kind of down and donut and basic breakfast kind of stuff. But it's just kind of a cool little hole in the wall where people can kind of come together and have like an old-fashioned style breakfast. I just really love this place. I've come to this shop once while waiting for my dad to finish up his doctor's appointment nearby. Because it's a local mom and pop shop, I figured their donuts would be pretty darn good (and I was right). I ordered a glazed donut with donut holes and a sprinkle donut. They are priced fairly so that's a plus. There is plenty of space inside to sit and enjoy your donuts. They do offer other breakfast items besides donuts but I didn't get around to ordering anything else. Donuts & donut holes- Just your typical donuts with the perfect amount of glaze. My wife and I went there this Sunday morning at 8am. Someone had ordered 14 dozen donuts ahead of time, so there they were, stacked up and ready to go. The problem was that there were slim pickin's for the rest of us. We seldom come to this donut shop, because the one we normally go to is better, but they were closed! The donuts here are good, as well as the sausage rolls. They are nothing special, but they aren't bad either. One benefit is that they are more than just a donut place. I'm actually really a fan of this place! The outside looks a bit crummy, and the inside isn't much better, but man, can they cook a good breakfast! And I wasn't even expecting it because I thought it was JUST a donut shop... nope! They've got a great menu with great selections. And the portion sizes are just right. We had waffles, breakfast taco, and bacon/eggs. They were all delish. Really great, filling (but not TOO filling) food! The service is always genuinely grand as well. The guy who works there is a bit talkative at times, but he's nice. And the couple, I guess owners, are always super friendly and helpful. So anyway, the place doesn't just have donuts. They have a full breakfast menu that isn't too shabby. I'd say if you want something cheap, good tasting, and easy, give it a shot. This is very good place to go if you want a quick meal and want to support a small business. The location is clean with both in and outside dining (although outside the tables are only for 2 people each). We were four. We sat inside by the register. My five and two year old shared a donut and several donut holes. I don't know the cost, but 3 holes were $0.45. I ordered a veggie omelette for me (consisting of mushrooms, onions, pepper and tomato) with cheese. It came with toast and I elected hash browns. My husband got the Denver omelette (it has ham) with toast and home-fries. The home-fries were moderately spicy and my husband liked them very much. I loved the hash-browns. They were pretty greasy, but I actually was kinda in the mood for that. My omelette was exceptional. My boys shared the little pancake dish off the kids menu ($3.99). It is one scrambled egg, 6 mini pancakes, and although it comes with bacon, I asked for sausage, which came in the form of a patty. It was the perfect amount of food for them, considering they had gorged themselves on the donuts. We only had water to drink so I cannot attest to the coffee or other beverages. Friendly owner we talked with originally from South Korea very nice the breakfast is basic but good. Sizes are small compared other restaurants but you won't waist food or leave over stuffed. Just right. Eggs cook just how I like. Sausage very tasteful not plain or very spicy. We stopped in here this past week, and we are glad we did. The only complaint is the refrigerated drinks rather than a soda fountain. Not a deal-breaker, though. Both of us ordered the club sandwiches, hubby got chips and I got fries. I was so happy to see sweet potato fries on my plate when she brought it out. They were hot and fresh and really good. The sandwiches were great, nice slices of ham, some cheese, bacon, lettuce and tomato. Just very simple and good. We tried but could not resist the pastry case. I had noticed a very small apple fritter, so I asked for that and one donut hole with sprinkles...........the lady gave us those 2 items and then threw in a couple of other small treats "on the house". She was very sweet and the pastry items were delicious. We'll definitely be back with our son, so he can try the bacon mushroom swiss burger. I was excited to try this place. Came in with the gf around 9:40 on a Saturday morning. Ordered in a timely fashion then proceeded to wait 35 minutes for 2 omelettes. My three meat omelette (hold the ham) had ham in it and the home fries were soggy from grease. The veggie omelette had ham in in too. Early morning work. First time ever to visit a Doughnut shop in the morning and talk about a first experience let down. We came in and we were rushed and could barely hear the attendant but then found out she was new. Because the old lady there was saying "if I can't hear you while I'm next to you then they can't hear you." Sorry ma'am I heard her. I was just like you, an ear piece in my ear. I took mine out and heard her the 2nd time. My whole first experience went down the drain and I felt sorry for that girl. I'm a trainer myself at my job and I know better not to reprimand my staff in front of customers. read more
