    Pernil sandwich

After our failed attempt at a meal at Dulce Aroma, the gods led us here! It's a small bakery/restaurant, not busy at all but looked as if many locals frequent it. We both ordered breakfast sandwiches; he got the Ham, egg, & cheese and I got the Pernil with egg. Two cafe con leches. Coffee was delicious. But the sandwiches... OMG the bread is amazing!! And I'm so glad we got the "SMALL" size because it was huge! They cut it in half and it was still a bit much for me. But the bread... it's sooooo good. I'm salivating just thinking about it!! Great little spot. Just go! AND - we only spent $7 on two sandwiches and two coffees. You can't beat that. Staff is friendly was well, though mostly just speak spanish. Delicious. Will come back to Fajardo just for this spot!

If you want a real Puerto Rican home cooked breakfast, just come here. Forget all those touristy eateries that serve acai power bowls and come here. You will not be disappointed. Trust me!

Been here several times. Do not know if there is a bad pastry or sandwich in the place. Highly recommend giving it a try.

No mucha variedad de sandwiches. El tamaño del sandwich es XXL, no gran sabor pero, se deja comer. Servicio amigable

    Review Highlights - Pan Rico

Due to a language barrier, we accidentally ordered two breakfast platters (two fried eggs, ham, and slices of pan sobao).

We rotated all three delicious dishes at least twice. Great chewy texture on the waffle, with more toppings than one could ask for. The benedict was a perfect mix of sweet, savory, and sea! But the cuban sandwich won the day. That roasted pork, girrrrlllll. They have indoor and outdoor seating and a full bar, too. Lovely jazz music for ambience, great vacation vibes. Okay, I'm sleepy now. Bye.

Split the delicious spring mix salad with crunchy prosciutto and figs followed by 12oz rib eye medium rare with a demi glace sauce and changed mashed sweet potatoes for regular mashed potatoes, served with seasonal vegetables of asparagus and green carrots, $48. I was nervous when I saw how thin the steak was, and the demi place looked like gravy. But the steak was a perfect medium rare and quite tasty. The sauce was different, but good. Ended the meal with a fruit tart $6.19, very good! Shout out to Aleisha for being our delightful waitstaff. Returned for Sunday brunch. Enjoyed Cafe latte, oj&vodka. Chocolate croissant and a delicious sandwich consisting of pan soboa roll, roasted pork shoulder, ham, swiaa, pickles and mustard maple syrup.$12.48.
